Highland League midfielder Callan Gray's second charity game for late cousin will aid Crimond and Aberdeen mental health causes
Last year Gray and his family organised a game to honour Preston – who died aged 14 in May 2023 – and raised more than £8,000 for charity.
On Saturday another match is being staged at Buchanhaven Hearts' Raemoss Park with kick-off at 3pm.
Admission is free, but there will be donation buckets for anyone who wishes to contribute.
There are also a selection of raffle prizes including a signed Aberdeen shirt, hospitality for four at a Fraserburgh home game and a Rangers stadium tour hamper.
As well as the game, Gray's cousin Mikie Leel is going to be taking part in a skydive in St Andrews on July 28 to raise funds.
The proceeds from the match and the skydive are to be donated to Crimond-based mental health charity Shirley's Space and ACIS Youth, a mental health charity in Aberdeen.
Fraserburgh midfielder Gray said: 'Last year was really good and we raised a lot of money.
'We're not expecting to get close to last year's amount, but I think the reason for doing it this year is to keep Preston's name alive.
'Anything we can raise for the charities is great, but a big part of doing it is to make sure Preston's never forgotten.
'Mental health is being spoken about more, but I still think a lot of people feel uneasy or uncomfortable speaking about.
'So even if we can help in that regard with raising awareness and trying to make it easier for people then that would be great.
'It's good to be able to do this and raise some money and potentially help folk who might be in the same situation as Preston.
'When you've been through it with someone you're close to and you see how it effects a whole family, if you can raise money which might help other people and help other families not to have to go through that then it's a good thing.'
A number of Breedon Highland League players are taking part in Saturday's game, including Gray's former Turriff United team-mates Dylan Stuart, Andrew Watt, Lee Herbert, Murray Cormack, David Dey, Connor Grant and Max Foster.
His new boss at Fraserburgh, Mark Cowie, and assistant manager James Duthie are also participating.
Gray added: 'I appreciate everyone being willing to play. Whether they play football or not, I appreciate everyone being willing to take part.
'It's a charity game and we've got a good mix of players and the game will be played in the right spirit like it was last year – ultimately it's a bit of fun.
'I also need to say thank you to everyone who has sponsored players taking part, everyone who has donated raffle prizes and Buchanhaven Hearts for allowing us to use Raemoss Park.'

'We are quite far down the line in terms of our recruitment of a transition coach and hope to have someone appointed in the coming weeks. This is a critical role, so we need to ensure we get it right. 'The transition coach will work alongside manager Jimmy Thelin and the wider first team coaching staff to help ensure a smooth and effective pathway exists, bridging the gap between the academy and the demands of senior professional football, technically, physically and mentally.' We need to have belief they can take that step up because they will get exposed to first team football more quickly. 'However, we also need to trust that we are still going to be competitive because ultimately, we must win games of football. 'We must take a much more aggressive approach to strategic recruitment of younger players, both from Scotland and abroad, to complement the very best players progressing from our own academy. 'This is something Aberdeen has deployed with great success in different periods of our history and has brought forward players like Willie Miller, Alex McLeish, Arthur Graham and current board director Willie Garner. 'The club has committed additional budget both operationally in youth talent identification and in potential transfer and compensation fees to maximise our outcomes in the development of young players.' We are pleased to have signed him given the significant interest from some big clubs. For a player still so young, he has played an impressive volume of minutes for the first team and the Icelandic youth international squads. 'He has a very good defensive and positional mind for the game. He has performed well for Stjarnan when winning possession back for his team, makes key interceptions and protects the team in transition – all the qualities we look for at the base of our midfield. It' s impressive when you consider his age. 'He is a very exciting talent, but we also know we need to work with him to develop further, and he will take time to adapt to a new club, a new league and a new country. Foundation of Hearts founder on how Rangers fans missed an opportunity
There were high hopes that Club 1872, which was set up in 2016 when the Rangers Supporters' Trust and Rangers First merged, could exert the same kind of influence over the Ibrox club during the early years of their existence. Mackie revealed yesterday how Hearts fans had met with their Rangers counterparts to offer them advice when they were starting out and recalled how he had been impressed with their plans and ambition. 'What could they achieve if they had prominent businesspeople who provided a high level of corporate governance taking care of a fan ownership vehicle? I still don't think they've got that. 'The people I met back then, and we are going back to 2011 or 2012, I thought were good people. I can remember saying, 'Keep going! Push it through! Have the courage of your convictions!'. But there were so many forces surrounding Rangers and it didn't work out the way they had hoped."
