Why Aussies have erupted at a pair of glamorous real estate agents filmed gloating about renting out a home
In the now-viral clip, the duo from CMP Real Estate celebrated the lease of a property in Leppington, located 53km southeast from Sydney's CBD, for $1450 per week.
Natasha Pincevic, a property manager at CMP, appears in the video alongside property associate Jazmin Refik.
An earlier video, now with over 180,000 views on social media, featured the agents asking, 'Would you pay $1450 per week for this?'
Commenters claimed the prices was too high with one saying,'it doesn't even have a pool' and another adding it was '1450 in the middle of nowhere, lol'.
In the new video - captioned 'keep doubting us' followed by a shushing emoji - Pincevic asks how Refik managed to lease it for such a price.
'The one with no pool, is in the middle of nowhere,' Pincevic quips. Refik adds, 'And a job site next door,' referring to nearby construction.
The two high-five before Pincevic references the classic children's show Bananas in Pyjamas, saying, 'Well done B2,' to which Refik replies, 'See you in the next one B1.'
The home is a six-bedroom, five-bathroom property, with three ensuites, situated on a 450-square-metre block.
Since being posted on Tuesday, the new video has drawn a flood negative comments.
'You basically just told everyone, we're here to rip everyone off,' one user commented. 'I think you're meant to say this off camera guys,' another added.
'Are we proud of these ridiculous prices? Have some mercy people, seriously,' wrote another critic.
Others mocked the video's caption: 'Keep doubting us'? No one doubts that you can lease a property in a housing crisis.'
However, some viewers came to the agents' defense, pointing to market realities.
'Not the agents' fault. It's the market price, supply and demand decides the price,' one person wrote.
'Dual income family, $1450 is affordable,' another added.
CMP Real Estate told Daily Mail Australia that their video was meant as a tongue-in-cheek response to online critics who mocked their advertisement for a rental property.
They said the follow up clip had been taken out of context. .
CMP founder Christina Pincevic, who has been in real estate for over 11 years, defended the rental price, saying it reflects current market conditions.
'We've leased homes of similar size for over $2000 before,' she stated.
Pincevic also cited infrastructure developments, such as the Western Sydney Airport and the Metro line, as factors behind rising property values in the area.
The video comes just days after it was revealed that the average home price in Australia has officially surpassed the $1 million mark, reaching $1,002,500.

'The power of persuasion' A source familiar with the situation explains: "TV bosses can refuse to put him on air but no one can stop him from having a voice on social media. "He can use that platform to stay connected with those who have stuck by him, reform his image for those who have turned their back on him and, he hopes, win over a new fanbase." But already it looks like Gino's endeavours on his social channels are landing badly. Just this month, Gino made a painfully transparent attempt to challenge claims he created an uncomfortable working environment. Posting footage of him hugging, kissing and holding hands with some of his restaurant staff during a recent visit to his Italian chain in Newcastle, Gino said: 'Another fantastic day with my team. 'I've always said… A happy kitchen creates fantastic food.' He chose Mark Ambor's song 'Belong Together' to play over the video. Our source continues: "The happy cheery corporate videos on Instagram are always part and parcel of any apology tour. Gino wants to maintain a united front and thinks the power of persuasion goes a long way. "Gino hopes people will see it and think 'he's such a nice, down to earth guy, not too high and mighty to work in his own restaurant and look at everyone getting on with him, having laughs and banter'." It comes after more than 40 people described "unacceptable", "distressing" and "horrendous" experiences while working with Gino over a 12-year period. "Gino thinks he's being smart about not throwing himself straight back into the UK spotlight. But when an ITV News report in February first revealed the allegations against Gino on set, Holly distanced herself publicly from her once firm friend. His former ITV co-stars Gordon Ramsay and Fred Sirieix also appear to have stepped back from their friendship. In 2022 an internal investigation into Gino was launched at production company Betty TV in relation to alleged inappropriate behaviour and language on the set of Gino's Italy – Like Mamma Used to Make. The production company Objective Media Group said in an email seen by ITV in 2024 that issues also arose in 2023 on the Emission Impossible set. Gino told ITV News at the time: "I would not do anything that I thought would upset or distress anyone. This is simply not in my nature. I do not recognise the version of events being put to me. "Not only have these allegations never been raised with me before, I have been repeatedly supported by executives at the highest level and was commissioned on prime-time programmes during the period in which it is now suggested I was acting inappropriately. The 65th TV Week Logie Awards have finally revealed their headline act for this year's ceremony. Beloved rocker Jimmy Barnes is set to take the stage at The Star Sydney on August 3, bringing four decades of fan-favourite hits to Aussie ears. Glamorous Bollywood couple lands in ICE detention after million dollar secret is revealed
A Bollywood singer and her husband have been taken into custody by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) following allegations of his involvement in a multimillion-dollar fraud scheme. Sidhartha 'Sammy' Mukherjee and his wife Sunita, known for their Bollywood-style singing and regular appearances at cultural galas, face first-degree felony theft charges after federal authorities uncovered an elaborate operation that defrauded investors of more than $4 million. Following their June arrest, both Sammy and Sunita posted bond amounts of $500,000, and Sammy was detained by ICE agents. He is currently being held at an ICE detention facility south of Fort Worth. The Mukherjees, who had built a reputation as entertainers in North Texas, have been accused of luring investors into what appeared to be legitimate real estate opportunities. However, authorities claim that the investments were entirely fraudulent, with victims unknowingly funneling money into non-existent projects. 'In [my] 23 years, [Sammy Mukherjee] is probably the most prolific fraudster I've seen,' Detective Brian Brennan of the Euless Police Department told CBS News. The sprawling investigation into the Mukherjees began in 2024, when a couple came forward claiming they had lost $325,000 in an alleged real estate scheme. 'At first, we thought this was a small, civil dispute,' Detective Brennan said. 'But as I dug deeper, we realized this was much larger than initially reported.' As the investigation progressed, Brennan uncovered a series of forged documents, including fake invoices and remodeling contracts purporting to involve the Dallas Housing Authority. Upon verifying the documents, authorities determined they were entirely fabricated. 'All fake,' Brennan said of the shocking amount of forged papers. 'The level of counterfeit documents … it had to be a full-time job for him to do that,' Brennan added. Brennan later sought federal intervention. Forensic accountants, working alongside the FBI, were able to trace the movement of funds, identifying more than $4 million in confirmed losses, CBS News reported. Though just 20 victims have been officially recorded, investigators now believe that more than 100 individuals may have been affected. But, the Mukherjees' fraudulent activities didn't stop at real estate. Following their June arrest, both Sammy and Sunita posted bond amounts of $500,000, and Sammy was detained by ICE agents According to an arrest affidavit, the couple allegedly submitted a false application for a Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loan - a financial assistance program created by the U.S. federal government during the pandemic - listing fictitious employees and creating fake company records. During an FBI interview at a McDonald's in Plano, Sammy reportedly denied recognizing the names listed on the payroll form tied to the loan application. Further investigation revealed that the couple also targeted elderly individuals with threatening emails, falsely warning them they would be arrested unless they made immediate payments, according to CBS News. Despite mounting evidence against them, the Mukherjees continued to maintain a public profile. In May 2024, they headlined a cultural gala, hosted by the Indian Traditions & Cultural Society of North America - a nonprofit organization registered at their Plano home. Just weeks later, the couple was arrested at their home and are now facing first-degree felony theft charges, which, if convicted, could amount to sentences ranging from five to 99 years in prison. Investigators say the couple arrived in the U.S. from India seeking asylum, though federal records do not currently indicate their immigration status. The arrest affidavit also references documentation suggesting that Sammy has outstanding fraud warrants in Mumbai, India, according to CBS News. As for the victims, the chances of recovering their lost funds appear slim. The Mukherjees filed for bankruptcy in 2024, and investigators are continuing to trace the missing money, examining whether it may have been moved offshore or into cryptocurrency accounts. 'I think it's gone,' Brennan said. 'I think they've spent it on cars, their house, and in just living expenses.' Reflecting on his experience 'doing business' with the disgraced couple, Seshu Madabhushi, an alleged victim, said he never would have expected this. 'Looking back, we should have been much wiser in terms of asking questions,' Madabhushi said. 'But we never thought someone would go to that extent.' 'They will make you believe that they are very successful businesspeople,' Terry Parvaga, another alleged fraud victim, told CBS News. 'But they will take every single penny you have.'
