The Young and the Restless spoilers: Damian fired and Holden gets intriguing new job
When The Young and the Restless' Damian (Jermaine Rivers) and Holden (Nathan Owens) arrived in Genoa City, it seemed as if the two were a packaged deal. After they dropped the charade of Holden pretending to be Damian, it was revealed that Damian was a CEO working for Aristotle Dumas, and Holden was Damian's right-hand man. Additionally, Damian and Holden were best friends.
Fast forward to the present, and the dynamic between the duo has become rather complex. Damian has slowly been trying to repair a relationship with his mother, while getting to know Nate (Sean Dominic) as his brother and trying to earn some trust with Lily (Christel Khalil) and Devon (Bryton James). Holden, on the other hand, has more or less felt like an outsider in Genoa City, with no one willing to give him the benefit of the doubt outside of Claire (Hayley Erin). Although he has a romantic history with Audra (Zuleyka Silver) and would like to at least be her friend, she's been rather prickly and dismissive of him.
Despite Holden's borderline pariah status, he's remained in town, knowing he's at least working as Damian's number two for Aristotle. Sadly, in The Young and the Restless episode airing on June 2, Damian gets the news from Aristotle's assistant that he's been fired ahead of Aristotle's secret French bash. While Damin doesn't seem terribly bothered by the news since he just accepted a job offer at Winters, he is concerned about what this now means for Holden. Even though Lily got Damian a job at Winters, she hasn't extended that same courtesy to Holden, so it looks like he'll be unemployed.
But loyal to his friend, Damian tries to get Holden a new role at a new company in Genoa City. After sharing the firing news with Lily, Audra and Nate, Damian gets the idea to pitch Holden to Audra. Damian surmises that Holden could be a great employee for Audra at her new business, Vibrante.
Of course, Audra gets a bit cagey about the idea. She even makes excuses why Holden won't be a good fit. However, Damian counters that Holden is a great employee.
With all that being said, we have a feeling that Holden has no intention of returning to LA, at least not in the foreseeable future. The suave and vesper-drinking newcomer probably plans to stick around in Genoa City, but he will need a new job. If we had to guess, he'll land at one of three companies.
First, we can't rule out the possibility that Audra will reluctantly offer Holden a position at Vibrante. While she obviously has some residual feelings for him and rather not work so closely together, we think she'll come to realize that if she pushes too hard against the idea, Lily and Nate may grow to suspect she doesn't want to partner with him because they still share a romantic connection she's trying to deny. So, rather than give Lily more ammunition not to trust her, Audra will bite the bullet and hire Holden.
If Holden doesn't wind up at Vibrante, our next best guess is Newman Enterprises. Holden may not know a ton about Aristotle, but he's worked at Aristotle's companies. Therefore, Victor (Eric Braeden) may see Holden as an asset in this bubbling war with the mystery tycoon. Plus, with a glowing recommendation from Claire, Victor may be willing to give Holden a trial run. It should also be noted that we've always gotten the vibe that Holden is willing to play in those grey areas, and with Michael (Christian LeBlanc) no longer working for The Mustache, he may be able to use Holden's unique abilities.
Now, if Holden doesn't find a home at Vibrante or Newman Enterprises, then perhaps Holden will take his talents to Chancellor with Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott). It bears repeating that Nikki could truly use some more assistance in the executive suite at the huge corporation. Yes, she has Claire working for her, but a company this size likely needs some more executive experience, especially with Aristotle lurking about to take the business. Again, Claire could put in a good word for Holden with her grandmother.
Wherever Holden ends up, we can't wait to see his next act. He's new on the CBS soap, but he's intriguing to watch.

Metro Boomin's A Futuristic Summa is finally set to arrive this week. Dropping one year after the super-producer's insane 2024 run with Future, A Futuristic Summa is looking to keep the party going with dozens of features and summertime-friendly bangers. Metro's previous two efforts, We Don't Trust You and We Still Don't Trust You, not only both debuted atop the Billboard 200, but the former snagged a Grammy nomination for best rap album, while the latter also scored a Grammy nomination for best melodic rap performance for its title track. Not to mention, the Billboard Hot 100-topping 'Like That' with Kendrick Lamar kickstarted last year's monstrous rap beef between K-Dot and Drake (and was also Grammy nominated for best rap song and best rap performance). While not much is confirmed in regards to what we can expect on Metro's new LP, the producer has sprinkled tons of breadcrumbs along the way on Instagram and elsewhere to help fans figure out what they can expect. The album was technically supposed to drop last Tuesday (July 22), but was delayed at the last minute for unknown reasons: 'Patience is a virtue' was all Metro said in regards to the delay. So as everyone patiently waits with bated breath for Friday, here's everything there is to know about A Futuristic Summa so far, including confirmed features, track list and more. The Mixtape Will Be Hosted By DJ Spinz When Metro announced the mixtape earlier this month, one of the first confirmed details to emerge was that the listening experience would be hosted by DJ Spinz. Spinz is a well known Atlanta DJ-turned-record producer who created some of the biggest hits to ever come out of the ATL; 'F—k Up Some Commas' by Future, 'Flex (Ooh, Ooh, Ooh)' by the late Rich Homie Quan and 'Blasé' by Ty Dolla $ign are just a few examples. The announcement was celebrated in the IG comments by people very familiar with Spinz' legacy in Atlanta, including Big Sean and Zaytoven. A Futuristic Summa Will Have 23 Tracks and 21 Features When A Futuristic Summa arrives on Friday, it will come stacked with 23 tracks and 21 features. When fans go to pre-save the album on Metro's MySpace-themed website, it lists out the track numbers and features. So far, the confirmed features on A Futuristic Summa include Lil Baby, 2 Chainz, Waka Flocka Flame, Roscoe Dash, T.I., BunnaB, Rocko, YK Niece, Meany (Of Shop Boyz), Rich Kidz, Travis Porter, Young Dro, Quavo, J Money and, of course, Future. There are still more features to announced, but with a tracklist this stacked, it's looking to be an ATL family reunion. The First Single Features Roscoe Dash While it's not yet available on streaming, fans who tuned into Metro's website were able to listen to a snippet of the album's first single: 'Slide' with Roscoe Dash. The melodic cut is given a less than two-minute preview on Metro's website, but was then released in full on YouTube on July 4. The track is a good appetizer for what fans can expect from the record — a nostalgic spin of early-2000s energy. The Cover Art Pays Tribute to Young Scooter and Takeoff A Futuristic Summa's colorful cover art has a lot going on, but also gives multiple hints showing this tape will fully be dedicated to the ATL: Two kids seen running through the streets with squirt guns on the cover are wearing T-shirts that read: 'RIP Scooter' and 'RIP Takeoff.' Metro worked extensively with both rappers before their respective passings. Metro Teased a New Track Snippet With Waka Flocka Flame and Quavo On Sunday (July 27), Metro showcased a studio session with Jose Guapo. Alongside Waka Flocka Flame, they played through a new track, reportedly titled 'Atlanta Bow Bow,' which also features Quavo and the 'O Let's Do It' rapper. The artists are seen getting incredibly rowdy when Flocka's verse comes on, adding to the speculation that this is gonna be an album catered to an outside vibe. It Was Likely Delayed Because of Future When Metro announced last week that he'd be delaying A Futuristic Summa, he did so by linking to a video that included a voicemail from Future. '3 times where you at?' Pluto says. 'I'm pullin' up to the lab right now. I gotta drop a verse on this Futuristic Summa s—t.' If the end result is like anything that came out back in 2024, it'll be well worth the delay. AXA Posts Net Profit Below Estimates on Currency Hit
AXA's net profit for the first half of 2025 fell short of expectations due to foreign exchange fluctuations, while the rest of its key metrics roughly aligned with views. The French insurer, which has operations around the world, on Friday reported a net profit of 3.92 billion euros ($4.47 billion) for the six months ended June 30, compared with 4.02 billion euros in the same period last year. The 2% on-year dip mainly reflects unfavorable currency effects, it said.
