Mark Snr could be seen emerging from the water shouting: 'You f**king idiot', as he quickly tried to retrieve his phone that was in his pocket at the time.
Former Towie star Mark can be heard laughing hysterically while Jess scrambled to help their dad.
He shared the video online but not everyone found it funny and many were concerned for Jess's son Presley's safety.
One person wrote: 'Not funny with the steps and the child , could have ended badly.'
A second said: 'Not funny at all!! Didn't you see the child close to him! Absolutely shocking and uncomfortable to watch!!!'
While a third added: 'Na this was so out of order Mark! not funny at all. He may be fine, however, it could have been so bad.'
And a fourth wrote: 'That was not funny, could have had a serious accident.'
The family were enjoying the weather from Mark and his wife Michelle Keegan's £3.5m home, which boasts its own swimming pool.
Mark is known for his love of pranks and he was hoping to sign his Brassic actress wife up for the Michael McIntyre's Big Show programme on the BBC but he quickly backed out.
Mark Wright slammed for 'poor taste' post about planes as 265 killed in horror Air India crash
Michael admitted that Mark insisted that Michelle take part in the programme's infamous Midnight Gameshow.
In the sketch, Michael surprises a celebrity in the dead of the night in their bedroom.
The unsuspecting star is then forced to participate in a series of games all from the comfort of their bed.
Teasing Mark's plans, Michael said: "I ran into Mark Wright at a golf day and he said: 'You've got to wake up my wife [Michelle Keegan]'...
"But then he was like: 'I don't think I can do this, she's going to hate me.'
However, Mark soon realised there could be a very dangerous problem.
Michael recalled: "Then he mentioned that there's some sort of attack dog that sleeps on the bed with them."

Three great summer perfumes at all price points – one is the perfect subtle scent for everyday
A QUICK spritz of the right perfume can totally transform your mood – and summer scents are certainly some of the most addictive. Here are three of my favourites . . . BUDGET M&S Discover Salty Skin Eau de Toilette, £10 for 100ml, The notes of this perfume read like a list of all my favourite scents; tart bergamot, mandarin and lemon, lightly floral orange blossom and jasmine, comforting musk and amber. It reminds me of the smell when you open the balcony door of your air-conditioned hotel room to be hit with the warm, thick air outside that's holding the smell of sun-tan lotion and salty sea air. It's the perfect subtle scent for everyday that will still feel special every time you spray it, and given the price, you'd be hard pressed to find a better value fragrance. I can't imagine there's a single person who won't love it. MID-RANGE Roger & Gallet Vanille Soleil Fragrant Water, £39 for 100ml, Fragrance expert Alice du Parq aptly described this as the scent equivalent of a Mr Whippy ice cream topped with Maldon sea salt flakes. I can't think of a better way to convey the moreish, elevated vanilla perfume that's equally sweet and savoury – like all the best snacks. It's not at all sickly, despite the powdery notes of jasmine and tonka bean. It's the perfect 'old money' scent, that doesn't scream in your face or leave a trail behind you when you leave a room, but when people get close, it smells sophisticated and clean. I get stopped in the street by people asking where my perfume's from - it's a dupe of a designer scent & saves me £135 LUXURY Maison Margiela Never Ending Summer Eau de Toilette, £62 for 30ml, This perfume is an Aperol Spritz in a scent. It's fizzy, bright and packed with juicy bitter orange, rich, hearty cedarwood, sharp pepper and spicy cardamom, that make it the perfect late night summer scent cocktail to cut through humid climes. It's one of the few truly unisex holiday inspired scents on the market – with no hint of sun cream-style coconut that can quickly become extremely girly. It's grown up elegance, that's guaranteed to bring in compliments. PICK OF THE WEEK AUSSIE beauty products are having a major moment right now – they make some of the most sophisticated SPFs and they're talented when it comes to body care too. But the latest export to hit our shores - MCo Beauty - is about to shake up the affordable beauty space in a major way, given every single product in the range costs less than £15. If I have to pick a favourite, it's MCo Beauty Super Glow Bronzing Drops, £12, which can be used alone as a tinted base, mixed into foundation as you tan, or applied to cheeks as a bronzer. Liam Gallagher dedicates Oasis anthem to the late Black Sabbath legend Ozzy Osbourne
OASIS honoured rock legend Ozzy Osbourne as they returned to London's Wembley Stadium after 16 years. At their gig on Friday night, the band lit up a screen featuring a picture of the Black Sabbath frontman, who died on Tuesday aged 76, during their 1994 Top Ten hit, Live Forever. 9 9 9 9 9 It marked the first of seven Wembley dates that Noel and Liam Gallagher are playing as part of their sold-out Live '25 reunion tour. The brothers also sang the track Rock 'N' Roll Star, from the same year, in honour of Ozzy, who was the self-proclaimed Prince of Darkness. Liam told the 81,000-strong crowd: 'I want to dedicate this one to Ozzy Osbourne — a rock 'n' roll star.' Ozzy had his family — including his wife of 43 years, Sharon Osbourne — by his side as he passed away at home in Welders, Bucks. The dad of six revealed in 2020 that he had been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. A friend said his health had declined following his Back To The Beginning benefit gig at Villa Park, in his hometown of Birmingham, on July 5. But Ozzy's close friend — Megadeath star David Ellefson — called the rock icon's final performance a way 'for him to say goodbye while he was still here' instead of showbiz friends staging a concert in his memory once he was gone. David said of the gig, which raised £140million for charity: 'I feel like this was the wake, the celebration of life for him while he was still here. 'Rather than, 'Oh, he passed. Let's throw a concert now. It's sad'. Sharon really did a great job, and all the organisers, to do that for Ozzy — but also for him to say goodbye to us, or for all of us to say goodbye to him, while he's still here.'' Speaking to Fox 10 Phoenix in the US, David added: 'The way it all teed up — it couldn't have been any better, man. That was just such a remarkable thing because now that he's gone, we have great memories of him and having just seen him perform for us, rather than going, 'Gosh, I wished I could have seen him one last time'. Ozzy Osbourne is seen in touching final video having breakfast with his family just two days before his death 'So I think there is a little bit of divine beauty in how it all has played out, actually.' Ozzy was a true icon till the end. Noel's blazing passion NOEL GALLAGHER revealed a true love of his life – and he wasn't talking about girlfriend Sally Mash. He lamented the passing of London's Chiltern Firehouse bar, the celebrity haunt burned down in February after wood fell from a pizza oven. He said on stage at Wembley: 'There have been many tragedies, including The Plague, The Great Fire, The Blitz. 'This year there was a tragedy greater than all of them – my favourite bar, the Firehouse, burnt down.' Before belting out 1996 hit Don't Look Back In Anger, he then added: 'I dedicate this next song to all the staff at the Firehouse.' Meanwhile, brother Liam, who has stayed off X/Twitter to focus on the Oasis tour, revealed he is keeping shtum to avoid grief. He told fans: 'Every time I open my mouth these days I seem to get myself in a lot of f***ing trouble. So I am just going to do the singing.' Tom at gig with 20 mates TOM CRUISE splashed out on 20 tickets for himself and friends to enjoy the first of Oasis's seven Wembley gigs. A source said of the Mission: Impossible star: 'Tom has been in awe of the tour and wanted in on the action.' Others there on Friday included Jimmy Carr, David Walliams, Davina McCall and Fearne Cotton, while Kate Moss and – last but not least – Liam's mum Peggy attended last night. And it seems Oasis fever is gripping the UK, as Barclays bank boffins calculated the total spend by fans on the Live '25 Tour will hit £1.06billion – in a boost for the economy beating the £1billion for Taylor Swift's Eras Tour last year. The average Oasis fan is estimated to fork out £766, when accommodation, travel, merchandise, food and drink are also included. Oasis kicked off the tour in Cardiff on July 4 and 5 – generating more than £4million in beer and cider sales alone. Cheers to that. 'LIV LARGE LIKE CARRIE SHE recently went public with her drummer boyfriend Eddie Burns – but Olivia Dean says her new album The Art Of Loving is inspired by Sex And The City singleton Carrie Bradshaw, played by Sarah Jessica Parker. She said: 'I'd never seen Sex And The City before, and started watching it from the beginning. I have been living my Carrie moment – her influence will be there.' 9 Olivia also revealed a song on the album, due out on September 26, is about situationships. Speaking at Rough Trade in New York, she said: 'Something In Between is about when you are between being with somebody and not, and you are like, 'I don't want to just have you in my life, like now we are not supposed to talk?'' It's sheer murder for Dannii DANNII MINOGUE is returning to acting – 35 years after leaving Aussie soap Home And Away. The former X Factor judge and singer is starring in glamorous Channel 5 drama Imposter opposite ex-Corrie star Kym Marsh. Dannii, younger sister of chart-topper Kylie, began filming Down Under last week. The series' Succession-like plot centres on a twisted family betrayal, and a murder, in a seaside hotel. A source said: 'It's been decades since Dannii last acted on the small screen, and she loved the script.' She now presents BBC dating shows I Kissed a Boy and I Kissed a Girl. On Dannii's new acting role, our source added: 'Her character will be one of the suspects in the murder, as the family all fight it out over their empire.' Delight for Defoe FORMER England striker Jermain Defoe can't stay single for too long. And now I can reveal that the ex-Premier League star is dating recruiter Farran Tomlin – 11 years his junior. 9 The loved-up pair jetted to Bodrum, where Turkish singer Dilek Sert Erdogan posted a pic of the couple at a five-star hotel. Jermain left wife Donna in 2023, just seven months after they wed, for influencer Alisha LeMay. While dating Alisha, he was caught kissing wedding planner Paige Mallabourn-Edmondson. Let's hope he doesn't stray this time.
