Mark Snr could be seen emerging from the water shouting: 'You f**king idiot', as he quickly tried to retrieve his phone that was in his pocket at the time.
Former Towie star Mark can be heard laughing hysterically while Jess scrambled to help their dad.
He shared the video online but not everyone found it funny and many were concerned for Jess's son Presley's safety.
One person wrote: 'Not funny with the steps and the child , could have ended badly.'
A second said: 'Not funny at all!! Didn't you see the child close to him! Absolutely shocking and uncomfortable to watch!!!'
While a third added: 'Na this was so out of order Mark! not funny at all. He may be fine, however, it could have been so bad.'
And a fourth wrote: 'That was not funny, could have had a serious accident.'
The family were enjoying the weather from Mark and his wife Michelle Keegan's £3.5m home, which boasts its own swimming pool.
Mark is known for his love of pranks and he was hoping to sign his Brassic actress wife up for the Michael McIntyre's Big Show programme on the BBC but he quickly backed out.

Michael admitted that Mark insisted that Michelle take part in the programme's infamous Midnight Gameshow.
In the sketch, Michael surprises a celebrity in the dead of the night in their bedroom.
The unsuspecting star is then forced to participate in a series of games all from the comfort of their bed.
Teasing Mark's plans, Michael said: "I ran into Mark Wright at a golf day and he said: 'You've got to wake up my wife [Michelle Keegan]'...
"But then he was like: 'I don't think I can do this, she's going to hate me.'
However, Mark soon realised there could be a very dangerous problem.
Michael recalled: "Then he mentioned that there's some sort of attack dog that sleeps on the bed with them."

Love Island fans accuse star of 'stirring drama' to get more 'air time' as final approaches

Love Island fans have accused Blu of ''stirring drama' to get more 'air time' as the final approaches. The former dumped Islander returned to the villa on Tuesday alongside Megan after being the second contestant to leave the show earlier in the season. During Friday night's episode, the Spanish lad had plenty to say about Toni during the infamous Grafties. As part of the game, a clip was shown of Cach - who Toni had previously split from to pursue things with Harrison - crying on the terrace. After the clip was shown, Blu turned to Toni and said: 'Did you see what you did to Cach?' Toni quickly responded: 'Shut the f* up, talk about situations that you've been here for.' Blu hit back: 'What you on about? I am here now, so I can speak if I want to.' Yasmin then jumped in to defend Toni, saying: 'She was upset about that though, she was crying about that too. She wasn't heartless about it — she was genuinely really upset.' After the game wrapped, Blu pulled Toni for a chat in the outside lounge. 'I don't agree with what you said,' Blu began. 'Like, I have respect for you, but if I have something to say - my opinion - and then you have your opinion, which is completely fine, why are you being hypocritical?' Toni replied: 'I just feel like you're involving yourself with something that has nothing to do with you.' Blue said: 'We're all sat around here, we all live in the same villa. I can have my own opinion - just like you always have your own opinion.' You've been outside watching it,' Toni said. 'Exactly,' Blu fired back before Toni continued: 'You know how I felt. You saw me sit there crying. When I apologised to Cach, was I not up on the terrace bawling my eyes out?' 'I don't agree with what you said,' Blu began. 'Like, I have respect for you, but if I have something to say - my opinion - and then you have your opinion, which is completely fine, why are you being hypocritical?' '"Toni how do you feel?" - you know how I felt. I don't understand what you want.' 'You can make Cach cry and that's fine?' Blu said. Toni responded: 'Did I ever say that it was fine? Blu responded: 'You've just done the same thing.' Toni said: 'I'm not going to lie to you. I literally don't care about this conversation.' Blu dismissed her with: 'Pfft, all right... so I have the right to have my own opinion and voice my own opinion. What are you on about?' 'Go for it. I don't care,' Toni added. Blu then said: 'OK cool, so don't tell me I can't put my two pence in when you're the one always putting your f*ing 50p in.' 'I still don't get what the point here is,' Toni question. Blu replied: 'Are you trying to belittle me or something? I'm pulling you here because I genuinely think you're a nice girl and I'm trying to, like, brush it under the f*ing bridge.' Toni pushed back: 'Then why were you trying to get a reaction out of me? Did you want me to say I'm sorry again?' Blu replied: 'Can I not ask my question? I'm asking a question. So you can ask a question but I can't ask my question?' Toni said: 'But I was involved.' Blu shot back: 'What are you on about? So? I'm involved now and I can ask my question.' At that point, Toni stood up and walked away from the conversation. Blu muttered: 'You walk away when it's convenient for you to walk away - coz you know I'm fing right. Absolute fu**ing weirdo.' Fans were left just as confused by Blu's confrontation with Toni, taking to X to share their bewilderment over his point. They said: 'The most bizzare thing about the Grafties was Blu trying to villainise Toni at any chance he could get. He really thinks he ate with that but in the words of Scott, he looked like a fxcking b*ellend', 'Blu pulled Toni for some airtime and left HEATED, while Toni left confused & not giving a single F', 'Blu's angry because toni's not giving him the argument he wanted, he wants to create drama to stay in the villa #loveisland', 'The way Blu was just trying to get a rise out of Toni was disgusting, when she didn't give him the argument he really wanted, he turned nasty, the man went red #LoveIsland', 'Toni just said 'blu I don't care to give you your 15 minutes of fame' and this is why we love her #loveisland', 'Blu wants a moment so bad he knows being around Toni will get him some more screen time.' Johnny Depp makes surprise appearance at Alice Cooper's London gig as they perform Black Sabbath's Paranoid dedicated to Ozzy Osbourne

Johnny Depp joined Alice Cooper on stage at his gig in London's O2 Arena to honour the late Ozzy Osbourne in a special tribute on Friday night. Ozzy, nicknamed the Prince of Darkness, died on Tuesday at the age of 76 just weeks after he took to the stage for his final show with Black Sabbath, with his family confirming the devastating news. The Hollywood legend, 62, and rocker Vincent Damon Furnier, known by his stage name Alice Cooper, 77, paid tribute to the legendary musician as they performed Black Sabbath's Paranoid. Depp made a surprise appearance for the heartbreaking tribute, rocking out on his guitar to a medley of songs. Cooper screamed at the crowd 'Let's hear it for Ozzy!', before belting out some hits. Earlier this week, Cooper dedicated his Cardiff show to Ozzy as he took to the stage with his band in Wales. 'Well, we all know that time is going to take us rockers, but when the giants fall, it's really hard to accept,' he said on stage. 'Even though everybody saw it coming with Ozzy, it just took our breath away when it happened. 'So Ozzy and family - your records and your music and your legend and all that you brought - the humour to the rock business - will live on forever and we're gonna miss you man.' Elsewhere Cooper and his band said: 'The whole world is mourning Ozzy tonight. Over his long career, he earned immense respect among his peers and from fans around the world as an unmatched showman and cultural icon. 'I always saw Ozzy as a cross between the prince of darkness, which is the persona his fans saw, and the court jester. That was the side that his family and friends saw. 'He was and will continue to be a rock n roll legend. Rock n Roll is a family and a fraternity. When we lose one of our own it bleeds. I wish I would have gotten to know my brother Ozzy better. 'Sharon, Jack, Kelly, Aimee and the rest of the Ozzy brood - our prayers are with you tonight. A titanic boulder has crashed, but rock will roll on.' He signed off an Instagram post with: 'Rest easy Ozzy and we'll see you on the other side! - Alice, Sheryl, Chuck, Ryan, Tommy, Nita, Glen and our entire crew.' MailOnline revealed that an air ambulance was called to Ozzy's grand country home as paramedics battled to save his life for two hours. Friends told the Mail's Alison Boshoff that his heartbroken wife Sharon may now bury Ozzy in the gardens of the 350-acre estate in an intimate family funeral, as she is 'too frail' to go through a larger, public service, leaving friends 'terrified' for her. At the other end of London, Liam and Noel Gallagher paid homage to Ozzy at night one of Oasis gigs at London's Wembley Stadium on Friday. The Gallagher brothers respectfully honoured the legendary rock star by singing Rock 'N' Roll Star in front of a huge image of Ozzy. In videos shared across social media of the tribute, Liam said: 'Liam said: 'I want to dedicate this next one to Ozzy Osbourne, Rock 'N' Roll Star'.

Love Island villa shaken up as 'THREE couples switch partners' in dramatic re-coupling just days before final

Love Island is heading for a complete shake-up as the final gets closer. The popular ITV2 series is nearing the end after a bunch of sexy singles have spent the last seven weeks getting to know each other. Things have heated up in the last few days, with the Grafties taking a toll on the remaining couples. And things are about to take a complete turn, according to reports. The Sun has claimed that three couples have switched their partners as that £50,000 prize gets closer. The villa's dynamic could be soon set to change after a brutal re-coupling ceremony. The couples have not yet been announced, but it's thought viewers will find out during Sunday's episode. A source told the publication: 'It's fair to say the fallout of the Grafties has had major repercussions. 'No one would've seen this re-coupling coming a week ago.' The final is fast-approaching, with it taking place on August 4. Daily Mail has reached out to ITV for comment. It comes after the very surprising casting method used by Love Island bosses to select contestants for the show has been revealed. It's been reported that ITV execs have admitted to using artificial intelligence as part of the casting process for the reality TV show. After the cast of the 2025 series was revealed earlier this year, fans were quick to mock the newbies as 'clones' of the previous stars, with the likes of Megan Forte Clarke being compared to 2019 islander Maura Higgins. The villa's dynamic could be soon set to change after a brutal re-coupling ceremony And now The Sun reports that automated technology has been used to whittle down the thousands of applicants for the show. Speaking as ITV announced its half-year results, ITV chief executive Dame Carolyn McCall shared: 'We will use AI in any way we can to make what we do more efficient. 'And a great example of that for me from (ITV) Studios is they're using a tool where it's a smart editing assistance and it's about speed and quality. And they used it for Love Island and casting this year.' An ITV spokesperson confirmed that AI was not directly used to make casting decisions, but rather to edit hundreds of hours of footage into highlight reels for the team to watch. They shared: 'It simply assists with the editing of audition tapes during the casting period. 'We get thousands and thousands of applications every year and we hold face to face auditions. 'When we get to the stage of narrowing it down to hundreds of prospective Islanders and we want to share audition highlights on a reel with the ITV commissioning team, to support the casting decision, we use the software (Quickture along with an Adobe editing programme) to edit the hundreds of hours of footage into highlight reels.' They added that the process means the casting team can 'spend more time researching' and looking for more prospective Islanders.
