The sentimental meaning behind Kate's stack of eternity rings
As spectacular as Kate's engagement ring is, its sheer size and brilliance doesn't make it the most practical piece to wear, so understandably, it's not one that the royal opts to showcase every day. Often, the Princess of Wales will wear a varying combination of her eternity rings in its place, but this past week, the mother-of-three was seen styling her engagement ring in a brand new way.
While attending the Wimbledon finals over the weekend, the Princess of Wales slipped her engagement ring on top of a triple stack of eternity rings, demonstrating a sweet symbol of unity.
Each of Kate's eternity rings is believed to carry its own sentimental meaning. The white-gold pavé-set band, encrusted with diamonds, was a touching gift from Prince William following the birth of their first son, Prince George. The second, Kate's subtle gold wedding ring, was nestled next to her most recent addition: a sparkling sapphire and diamond eternity band, which features 19 of each gemstone in alternating order.
The eye-catching ring first appeared on Kate's finger last year following her return to royal duties after her chemotherapy treatment for cancer. While the reason behind the ring hasn't been confirmed — there's speculation it was a gift from William for their 13th wedding anniversary — it's a piece she's rarely been seen without in the year since she first wore it, inferring that the piece carries its own special meaning.
It's also emblematic that the Princess of Wales has chosen to wear all four of her rings to an event which she holds close to her heart — Kate has served as a patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club since 2016 — and one of the few royal engagements she has been able to attend with her family this year as she faces the challenges of remission.
Kate's influence on jewellery trends, from her famous engagement ring to her favourite affordable earrings, is undeniable — and we're betting it won't be long before we see statement ring stacking return to the fore.

Harry Potter HBO Show Has Genius Solution to Issue With Child Actors
Warner Bros. Discover is making sure that the child actors on set of the new TV show are well cared for and educated, going to some pretty big lengths to do so as well. How is the Harry Potter HBO show dealing with child actors' education? According to a report from BBC, Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden, which is the production home for the upcoming TV series, is building a temporary school in order for the dozens of child actors on set to continue receiving an education and keep up with their school work while they perform on the show. The move was made alongside Three Rivers District Council, which permitted WB to 'use a series of portable buildings as a school facility for the next decade,' according to BBC. The buildings are designed to be used by 'up to 600 pupils during period,' but will only likely ever serve around 150 students. The 'school' will be operating on weekdays between 5:30am and 8:30pm, this way actors can squeeze in some school time between certain schedules that might call for night filming or any filming that takes place away from the main production site. BBC's report did not name Harry Potter specifically, but did say that the buildings were going to be used for a 'significant new TV series,' and that it will be in place 'for a maximum period of 10 years,' which coincides with how long the entirety of the new Harry Potter TV show might last. The Harry Potter series is described as a 'decade-long' project, with each season expected to adapt one book in Rowling's acclaimed book series. The series will be led by Dominic McLaughlin, Arabella Stanton, and Alastair Stout as Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, and Ron Weasley. Alongside the trio, the Harry Potter TV show also stars John Lithgow as Albus Dumbledore, Janet McTeer as Minerva McGonagall, Paapa Essiedu as Severus Snape, Nick Frost as Rubeus Hagrid, Luke Thallon as Quirinus Quirrell, Paul Whitehouse as Argus Filch, Katherine Parkinson as Molly Weasley, Lox Pratt as Draco Malfoy, Johnny Flynn as Lucius Malfoy, Leo Earley as Seamus Finnigan, Alessia Leoni as Parvati Patil, Sienna Moosah as Lavender Brown, Bel Powley as Petunia Dursley, Daniel Rigby as Vernon Dursley, and Bertie Carvel as the Minister of Magic, Cornelius Fudge. It's unclear as of now who else will be in the cast, although rumors have circulated about other potential castings, including the likes of Voldemort. More casting information is expected to be announced in the future. The HBO adaptation is being written by Emmy-winning producer Francesca Gardiner (Killing Eve, Succession). The series is executive produced by Gardiner, Mark Mylod, Rowling, Neil Blair, Ruth Kenley-Letts, and long-time Harry Potter franchise producer David Heyman. Mylod, who has worked with HBO on Game of Thrones and The Last of Us, will also helm multiple episodes. It is a production of HBO in association with Brontë Film and TV and Warner Bros. Television. Powerful stage adaptation of literary classic tours to Stroud
A POWERFUL stage adaptation of a literary classic is touring to Stroud. Jane Eyre: An Autobiography will be performed at the Cotswold Playhouse on Friday, October 10, at 7.30pm. It's being staged to mark the 200th anniversary of the deaths of Maria and Elizabeth Brontë, Charlotte Brontë's older sisters, who died in the spring of 1825. Both girls died of consumption at 10 and 11 years old, when Charlotte was only nine. Shane Morgan, director of the production, said: "There is no doubt whatever that the devastating impact of Maria and Elizabeth's deaths at just 10 and 11 years old respectively was key to the germination of the Jane Eyre whose orphaned heroine endures childhood loss, rejection and isolation as she embarks on her quest for familial love and somewhere to belong." The production is a revival of the 2015 adaptation by award-winning playwright Dougie Blaxland. It is produced by Live Wire and Roughhouse Theatre. The same team won the 2021 National Campaign for the Arts Award. The original production was described as 'a theatrical tour de force from a company with a rare gift for bringing classics to life with loyalty, energy and intrigue'. Movement director Moira Hunt said the story still resonates today. She said: "Charlotte Brontë's Jane Eyre broke the mould of the Victorian female stereotype through its dramatisation of a woman of independent mind and means who refuses to be subservient in any way to her male counterparts." Alison Campbell, who trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, will reprise her role as Jane Eyre. She said: "The revival of the production to coincide with the 200th anniversary of the death of Maria and Elizabeth Brontë is of great significance in honouring the extraordinary Brontë family as a whole and highlighting the creative genius that emerged in the face of tragedy." More information and tickets are available at the Cotswold Playhouse website.
