‘Rose Hill' Romance Series Is Becoming a Show—And Fans Can't Wait

Yahoo12-06-2025
Elsie Silver's popular Rose Hill series will make its debut on screen, Variety revealed Thursday. Amazon MGM Studios is set to develop the show and bring the best-selling author along for the ride!
There isn't information on the cast and release date yet, but Silver shared the news on Instagram with her 312,000 followers writing, 'In a true 'pinch me' moment I am beyond thrilled to share that my Rose Hill series is in development for television! I am honored to be working with an incredible team at @amazonmgmstudios and @templehillent. I know that these characters are in the best hands and cannot wait to see this very special town come to life.'
Silver will be the executive producer of the show, along with Temple Hill's Wyck Godfrey, Marty Bowen, and James Seidman. Annika Patton of Temple Hill will produce the show, according to Variety.
The Rose Hill show's official logline is: 'Welcome to Rose Hill, a small town nestled in the Rocky Mountains, where crystal-clear lakes, iconic honky-tonks, and wide-open skies create the perfect backdrop for creativity, reinvention—and falling in love. In this warm, sexy, and heartfelt ensemble drama, both lifelong locals and big-city transplants discover that love is messiest when it's real, and family is often the one you build.'
Untitled Entertainment, on behalf of Kimberly Bower at Park, Fine & Bower Literary Management, brokered the deal, according to Variety, and comes on the heels of Amazon's recent triumph with shows based on bestselling novels. The success of Amazon's 'Daisy Jones & the Six,' 'The Summer I Turned Pretty' and 'Reacher' are good omens for 'Rose Hill's' upcoming release.
The Rose Hill book series is set in the picturesque, small town of Rose Hill, nestled in the Rocky Mountains. Each stand-alone novel follows different characters as they navigate the struggles, successes, and steamy love stories that Rose Hill brings.
Currently, there are three books in the Rose Hill series–Wild Love (2024), Wild Eyes (2024) and Wild Side (2025)–but a fourth book, Wild Card, is expected to be released in September 2025, according to Goodreads.
The series's fast popularity gained attention from readers across the country, making a strong fan base and following. According to Amazon, Wild Love and Wild Eyes both achieved Sunday Times bestseller status shortly after their releases.
The first novel, Wild Love, follows Ford Grant, a billionaire seeking refuge and the chance to follow his dreams in Rose Hill. His plans go awry when parenthood and a love interest enter the mix. Silver's second novel, Wild Eyes, traces country music star Skylar Stone through her journey of heartbreak, personal growth, and new love. The most recent novel in the series, Wild Side, explores parenting and loss through the complex relationship between Tabitha and Rhys.
More details are (hopefully) coming soon about the show, but in the meantime, fans can celebrate their favorite series finally coming to life… and eventually screens!

"'Sydney Sweeney Has Great Jeans' is an always was about the jeans. Her jeans. Her story. We'll continue to celebrate how everyone wears their AE jeans with confidence, their way," the statement read. "Great jeans look good on everyone." The company's clarification was aimed at critics who called the promotional blitz a veiled attempt to endorse eugenics. A post shared by American Eagle (@americaneagle) In one of several videos for the campaign, Sweeney, clad in a denim-on-denim fit, dabbles in some word-play, telling cameras: "Genes are passed down from parents to offspring, often determining traits like hair color, personality and even eye color." Pet Parents Play Dog a Recording of Her Cries—Her Response Is Priceless

Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. A dog's priceless reaction to watching a recording of her response while being home alone left viewers cracking up. It is hard to know how a dog feels or acts when they're home alone, which is why pet parents often install a camera that allows them to check in through a phone app. And, the curious owners of Duffy the maltipoo, a Maltese and poodle mix, wanted to join the trend of staying in the loop of their pup's response, especially since they recently welcomed her home. Duffy's owner told Newsweek that the pup cries and whines even when they're at home and in another room. They figured she'd be upset when home alone, but after setting up the pet camera, they learned the extent of the small dog's sadness. They jokingly shared a recording from the pet camera of Duffy's dramatic cries with the dog, which they later posted in an Instagram video to the account @ Her cries pierced through the recording. She howled in desperation that her humans would return. The moment Duffy heard the recording, her eyes bulged. She tilted her head in confusion. She couldn't believe the sounds and acted as if she weren't responsible. "...I didn't know that she cried that hysterically when we left the house," one of her owners said. While the dog's stress hurt to hear, Duffy's reaction to the recording had her owners laughing, especially as she kept tilting her head side to side. And thankfully, Dufffy grew out of this separation anxiety phase. She understands that her owners always return, greeting them with nothing but happiness. She'll even remain calm when they leave. Viewer Reactions The Instagram video reached over 464,000 views as of Friday, as people flooded the comment section with mixed emotions. They felt horrible for Duffy experiencing the stress of being home, but her reaction became priceless. "The 'not me' look," pointed out one viewer. "She is like, 'That's not me, I don't know that another Instagram user commented. A third person jokingly wrote from Duffy's point of view: "Doesn't sound like something I would do, you must have me confused." Sarah Jessica Parker Says Goodbye After Surprise Announcement of And Just Like That End

"Carrie Bradshaw has dominated my professional heartbeat for 27 years. I think I have loved her most of all," SJP noted in a lengthy and emotional Instagram post after 'And Just Like That's cancellation was announced. Sarah Jessica Parker is writing off her iconic character, Carrie Bradshaw, after And Just Like That was surprisingly canceled after the currently-airing Season 3. In an Instagram post Friday, shortly after the announcement, SJP shared a montage including all of her past fashionable looks on Sex and the City and it's modern sequel, And Just Like That. She also narrated her heartfelt caption in one final signature voiceover. 'She crossed streets, avenues, rubicons, so it seemed. She broke hearts, heels, habits. She loved, lost, won, tripped, leaped, fell short and into puddles. Aged, got wiser. She has made the hardest, worst and best decisions,' Parker wrote and said in the post. 'Traveled near and far. For the new, the vintage, friends and love.' Parker continued to recap the growth and changes her character handled throughout both series. "Changed homes, time zones, boyfriends, her mind, her shoes, her hair, but never her love and devotion to New York City," she said. "She had dates, drinks, boyfriends, a husband and truly great loves and romances. She hailed cabs, she ran in heels and danced with Stanford. She told the truth and she lied. She typed, wondered, wrote, published, grieved, forgave. Got stood up, stood strong, stood out." "She devoted herself to hats, books, shoes, friends and the promise of a new day in her beloved city and the people she treasured most. She has worn shame, pride, honor, optimism and literally countless dresses, skirts, tutus. Held onto hands, hopes and the very best of people." Parker then mentioned how much she loved her character for the past 27 years. "Miranda, Samantha and Charlotte, there will never be better friends and what great fortune for Carrie to come to know and love Seema and LTW, most divine new connections. Carrie Bradshaw has dominated my professional heartbeat for 27 years. I think I have loved her most of all," she mentioned. "I know others have loved her just as I have. Been frustrated, condemned and rooted for her. The symphony of all those emotions has been the greatest soundtrack and most consequential companion. Therefore the most sentimental and profound gratitude and lifetime of debt. To you all." But the actress shared that she helped decide on the show coming to an end with showrunner Michael Patrick King because -- they felt it was time to finish this chapter in Carrie's life. "MPK and I together recognized, as we have in the past, this chapter complete. AJLT was all joy, adventure, the greatest kind of hard work alongside the most extraordinary talent of 380 people, including all the brilliant actors who joined us," she continued. "I am better for every single day I spent with you. It will be forever before I forget. The whole thing. Thank you all. I love you so. I hope you love these final two episodes as much as we loved making them for you. Rabbit rabbit. Xxx, SJ." Solve the daily Crossword
