'I struggled with loving myself' — Nozipho Ntshangase gets real after going under the knife
Nozipho Ntshangase is the latest to go under the knife. For her it's a mommy makeover she's been wanting to do after giving birth to five children.
The Mommy Club star recently shared a candid video while packing her hospital bag, revealing she was gearing to undergo a cosmetic procedure — but did not disclose what.
'I've been on this self-love journey. After having my last three children and going through a lot, I struggled with loving myself. My confidence went down the drain, so I thought why not do the outer and inner work on myself at the same time?
Nozipho said she had tried exercising to get her figure back.
'I gained weight. It was this and it was that. Not exercising as often as I would have wanted. A lot of insecurities I have. I decided to take the plunge and be brave and do what I always wanted to do, which is work on my body and myself. I'm excited and nervous because I'm a researcher, I read a lot and Google has me overthinking a lot of things, but my surgeon is really amazing.'
On Tuesday, Nozipho shared an update with her followers.
'Everything went well. Thank you God for covering me today. Road to recovery now. Thank you for the well wishes and all your prayers.'

She subsequently had a mastectomy followed by breast reconstruction. In an update to her fans on Sunday morning, 3 August 2025, she mentioned she unexpectedly fell ill and found herself back in hospital. Jessie J announced her breast cancer diagnosis early June 2025. While the news was undoubtedly distressing, she found comfort in the fact that the cancer was detected at an early stage. On 23 June 2025, the singer underwent surgery to remove the cancer, followed by breast reconstruction shortly thereafter. By 7 July 2025, Jessie took to Instagram to share news that her surgery was successful. In addition to that, her results showed no signs of cancer. The singer shared news of her hospitalisation early Sunday morning, 3 August 2025, on her Instagram story. 'Six weeks post surgery and I was back in the same ward I was after my surgery,' she wrote. 'Not expected or planned.' The singer revealed that she had been experiencing symptoms that suggested a blood clot. After undergoing tests, it turned out it wasn't a blood clot but an infection and fluid in her lungs instead. Despite struggling to breathe, she chose to discharge herself on 2 August 2025 and plans to continue treatment as an outpatient. Jenna Ortega turns heads at 'Wednesday' premiere
Jenna Ortega stunned audiences and fans alike as she unveiled a striking new look during the press tour for Wednesday Season 2, kicking off at the Paris premiere. The actress transformed her signature style by bleaching her eyebrows to a nearly invisible blonde shade. This added a bold, gothic edge that perfectly echoes the eerie and dark aura of her hit Netflix series. At the Paris premiere, Ortega's bleached eyebrows caught immediate attention. While it might have seemed she had shaved them off, it was clear the thick, dark arches were simply dyed, according to Page Six. This created the illusion of 'brows begone.' This daring choice accentuated her expressive features and reinforced the gothic sensibility fans have come to associate with her role as Wednesday Addams. 'I feel like I have a more Gothic vibe than I did when I was a teenager,' Jenna commented in a past interview. 'I've always been fascinated by dark themes, but as a Disney child, I was expected to be bubbly and sweet'. Stylist Cesar Ramirez complemented her look by styling Ortega's brunette hair in soft waves. Makeup artist Mélanie Inglessis employed a smoky eye with romantic, deep wine lips to enhance the mysterious allure. Her outfit choice for the premiere was a bold statement as well. Ortega wore an eye-catching Vivienne Westwood fall 2025 gown designed by Andreas Kronthaler. The dress featured a ruffled corset with a plunging neckline that flared below the hips. She accessorised with jewellery that echoed her character's dark, witchy style. This included a Loree Rodkin cross pendant necklace, a cross signet ring, and a Bondeye Jewellery diamond. Earlier in the week at the London press event, Ortega had showcased a semi-sheer, reptilian-inspired Ashi Studio fall 2025 couture gown. The gown had a high neck and peplum skirt, further underlining the thematic aesthetic of Wednesday . Her hair was pulled back into a low ponytail, allowing her bleached brows and radiant makeup to take centre stage. Wednesday Season 2 premieres on Netflix on 6 August, with subsequent episodes releasing on 3 September. Jenna Ortega's evolving look will no doubt continue to captivate viewers worldwide and highlight her commitment to embodying the gothic spirit of her iconic character. 'You're witnessing someone experimenting, exploring who they are, that's a natural part of growing up,' Jenna said. 'It's about embracing change and authenticity'.
