NJ firefighter who accused wife of cheating in viral video files for divorce
Nick Galante had his wife of three-plus years, Samantha Egues, served with divorce papers on May 17, sources revealed.
Galante's decision to end his marriage comes weeks after he confronted the 33-year-old mother of his two children during his crowded celebration earlier this month.

'Nick is ready to move on and put this entire chapter of his life behind him,' said one of the two-timed husband's close friends. 'The trust there is lost, which is sad for their [two] kids. Frankly, I can't really blame him for [pursuing] the divorce, because he's still fairly young.'
Jaw-dropping video of the profanity-laced castigation was shared online, and has been seen at least 10 million times across multiple social media platforms.
'The video [of the confrontation] going viral didn't help,' the friend added. 'There's really no coming back from that, because it's going to [live] forever online. It's sad for those kids.'

A microphone-wielding Galante addressed his party guests with his realtor wife by his side.
'I f–king know everything,' Galante says in the footage. 'That's right, b–ch, I know everything. I know all about the Plan B pills you had to take, you filthy f–king whore.
'Don't act like you don't f–king know,' he told his shrugging wife.

'You don't confront your wife in front of every single person you know like that unless you're certain in your heart you're done [with her],' one of the sources told The Post this week. 'There are lots of lessons to be learned here.'
The couple has not responded to repeated requests for comment.

Sex offender allegedly sniffed a woman's buttocks at Burbank store — again
A registered sex offender was arrested earlier this week in Burbank after he sniffed a woman's rear end, according to police. Burbank police officers were dispatched to a Nordstrom Rack on North Victory Place after a report of someone loitering in the women's department. Their investigation led them to a nearby Walmart where they used the store's surveillance system to track a man following a female customer, according to a Burbank Police Department news release. The officers watched as the suspect followed the woman, crouched behind her and engaged 'in lewd behavior by inappropriately sniffing her buttocks,' the release said. The suspect, 38-year-old Calese Carron Crowder, was subsequently detained. Crowder has a documented history of arrests in similar incidents in Burbank and Glendale dating back to 2021, according to the release. In 2023, Glendale police said Crowder was arrested on suspicion of 'peeping' near a Glendale home; he also was allegedly caught performing lewd olfactory acts in bookstores across Burbank, one of which went viral on TikTok. Former Los Angeles Laker Robert Horry in 2023 reposted an accusation by his wife on X that Crowder had stalked their daughter years before and went to prison — records show he went to prison the year Horry's wife specified in her accusation, but details of the charges could not be confirmed. 'Please help stop this predator by reposting and getting the word out,' Horry said. The Burbank city attorney's office filed one count of loitering with the intent to commit a crime, the release said. Crowder's bail has been set at $100,000 and he remains in custody until his next court appearance on Aug. 1. Authorities said the investigation remains ongoing. E! News cancelled after 34 Years
The nightly celebrity news programme E! News has been cancelled after 34 years on the air. Versant, the company that oversees E! and a number of former NBCUniversal cable networks, is axing the show, which currently broadcasts at 11.30pm Eastern Time, with the final episode airing on 25 September. E! News is fronted by hosts Keltie Knight and Justin Sylvester. The series, which launched in 1991, previously had a hiatus during the pandemic but returned in 2022 after a two-year break. The Hollywood Reporter and Deadline report that employees learned of the cancellation on Thursday (24 July) morning, with a repeat episode airing that evening instead of an original episode. Around 20 people work on the E! News programme, with some understood to be offered other roles at the company and others expected to leave. New episodes will resume next week, with the network's other programmes, Access Hollywood and Access Daily, airing as usual. E! News will still exist as a digital brand and will instead focus on growth on its social platforms, which have seen impressive growth on Instagram and TikTok, Deadline reported earlier this year. E!, which currently has around 87M social media followers, puts out numerous digital programmes, including E! News The Rundown on Snapchat, Hot Goss on Instagram and RE!CAP on YouTube. The channel also airs shows including E!'s Dirty Rotten Scandals, Botched Presents: Plastic Surgery Rewind and Honestly Cavallari: The Headline Tour, hosted by TV personality Kristin Cavallari. In the shake up, NBCUniversal has split itself in two, per The Hollywood Reporter. Peacock and Bravo will stay as key pieces of NBCU, while the rest (USA Network, Syfy, E!, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen and Golf Channel) will make up the new company Versant. The company's digital businesses Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes and Golf Now will also move to Versant. Long term E! News viewers were quick to react to the news online. 'Here's to the news channel I was raised on,' one person said on Instagram. 'What is going on?' asked another. 'Honestly that was my dream job growing up,' another fan added, with a fourth echoing: 'This was my ultimate dream platform to host on. The end of an era.'
