Woman caught on camera waving knife and yelling racist abuse at man on street
A knife-wielding woman threatened a man with a knife while screaming racial abuse at him in a Birmingham suburb.
The tense confrontation was captured on camera in the Sparkhill area of Birmingham after a disturbance between the pair broke out on Friday night.
The unknown woman could be heard racially abusing the Asian male while brandishing a large blade outside a terraced house.
The man then picks up a piece of cardboard and begins to strike her with it, before she then chases him down the street with the knife.
The two can be heard trading insults, calling each other fat, before the woman begins slashing at him with the blade in the middle of the residential street.
An onlooker arrives on the scene to try and intervene, telling the woman to put down the knife, while the man pulls the rucksack from his back.
He then proceeded to hit her multiple times with the bag before she stumbled into a nearby car, and the bystander managed to step in between the pair.
The footage has since gone viral online, with one user writing: 'There's no space for knife crime, no matter how young or old, male or female.
'Find another solution because it will cause devastating effects, ones that would end up regretting.'
Another added: 'No person should be waving a knife around like that and getting away with it.'
Metro has contacted the West Midlands Police for comment.

Snapchat video captured the moment the hooded perpetrator whipped out the blade in Gladstone Park, north London.
The weapon was inches from slashing the terrified victim, as she backed away while others fled.
A man filming the attack can be heard screaming, 'She backed out a shank, are you mad?' meaning she brought out a knife.
Police arrived at 10 pm after the video went viral on social media, but they could not locate the alleged knife-wielder or weapon, the force told Metro.

Manhunt over Epping migrant hotel disorder as protesters gather again
Police are hunting three men in connection with violent disorder outside a migrant hotel that injured eight officers in Epping. Officers released images of the suspects as more than 100 protesters gathered outside the Bell Hotel in Essex believed to be housing asylum seekers on Sunday night. There is a line of police vans and officers blocking off the entrance to the hotel, with protesters facing them on the other side of the pavement. Some are holding signs which say 'deport foreign criminals', 'we go home when they go back' and 'defend our girls'. A small number of protesters are wearing balaclavas and face coverings against police orders. The investigation to identify those who caused disorder in the town on Thursday continued. Essex Police said that a group intent on causing trouble and violence, arrived on the high street. One man was seen jumping on a riot van and kicking in the windscreen. The group damaged a number of police vehicles, threw projectiles and injured eight police officers, according to the force. One Metropolitan police van sped through an improvised blockade on Epping High Street 'making contact' with a protester who appeared to fail to move out of the way. Staff at the hotel told Metro on Thursday that the car park was a no-go zone after the riot as they feared the protesters would return in force. One, who looked visibly shaken, said: 'Everyone is ok but no one is allowed in the car park. The police say so.' A nearby resident, 48, who did not want to be named, said: 'I was sickened by what I saw. This is not acceptable. We have families and having these thugs shouting and chucking stuff is disgusting.' Another said: 'It's not ideal living right near a migrant hotel but what is worse is these rioters causing mayhem. There is rubbish everywhere from stuff they have chucked and they sort of lay siege to the hotel which must be terrifying for those inside.' Detectives are now seeking to trace the three men in connection with violent disorder and assaulting an emergency worker. Chief Supt Simon Anslow said: 'We continue to have a dedicated team of detectives working around the clock to find all of those who came to Epping last week intent on causing violence and disorder. 'There is no place for that on the streets of our county and there is a difference between peaceful, legitimate protest and those who are only interested in mindless thuggery. 'I continue to urge residents to support us by sending us your footage or imagery of those who came to Epping to do nothing but cause trouble. 'And a big thank you to those who have helped us by sending footage and images into us, we are grateful.' Four arrested as police raid Birmingham gambling den
Four men have been arrested after police raided a gambling den in searched the premises on Ladywell Walk on Sunday morning and seized two gaming machines believed to be linked to fraud and money also found large amounts of cash, as well as drugs and weapons, West Midlands Police men, aged 56 and 32, were arrested on suspicion of money laundering while another two, aged 43 and 20, were arrested on suspicion of immigration offences. A police spokesperson said all four remained in custody for raid was carried out as part of Operation Fearless, which was launched to target issues including violence, drug dealing, anti-social behaviour and organised crime.
