Baahubali

Throwback to the time when the actress expressed that she was not working pan-India after building her stardom based on 'Baahubali'. In an interview with The Indian Express, the actress shared the reason behind her decision and why she chose to take a step back at the peak of her success.
She shared that after finishing Baahubali, she was committed to a film 'Bhaagamathie', and wanted to take some time off later. "It was by choice. It was something I needed the most at that time. Back then, I felt like doing that so I would be more present for my future projects. I know it's totally unheard of," she added.
She further mentioned that during her break, she wasn't even entertaining new scripts. Anushka said that unless something truly exciting had come her way, she had no intentions of immediately returning to work.

Sydney Sweeney in talks to join 007 franchise as next Bond bombshell

The big-screen star of The White Lotus and Euphoria, Sydney Sweeney , is expected to be the next Bond girl in the next James Bond movie. As producers and director Denis Villeneuve seek to update the legendary spy series, the 26-year-old actress is reportedly the top pick for the part. Sweeney ranks highly on the casting list for the upcoming 007 movie, The Sun reported on Sunday, "Denis believes she is hugely talented, as well as having an alluring appeal to younger generations, vital in modernizing the franchise,' sources stated. According to reports, Villeneuve, the director of Dune and Sicario, has become a friend of Sweeney and is eager to collaborate with her. Last year at the Toronto International Film Festival, Sweeney, who has a varied portfolio that includes both high-profile dramas and big-budget works, was seen having a lengthy conversation with Villeneuve and Ana de Armas, a former Bond girl. The three are starring in Ron Howard's survival thriller Eden, which is scheduled for release in August 2025. The movie, which also stars Vanessa Kirby and Jude Law, is about a group of people trying to establish a utopia on an uninhabited island in the Galápagos. Sweeney recently attended the wedding of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos in Venice, which increased the excitement. According to reports, Bezos, whose business Amazon currently controls the James Bond franchise's creative direction through MGM, is in favor of Sweeney's casting in order to revive the franchise for a new generation. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like 목 주름이 생기는 원인 분석 9년차 연구원 최소정 지금 구매하기 Undo Actors like Aaron Taylor-Johnson and James Norton are still in the running to replace Daniel Craig, who left the role after No Time to Die in 2021, but the casting for the new James Bond himself is still up in the air. Actor Jitin Gulati , who was recently seen as Sarfaraz in Kajol's "Maa", reflected on his struggle days. When asked about the toughest part of his struggle journey during an exclusive conversation with IANS, Gulati revealed that every step presented a new challenge for him. Speaking to IANS, Gulati said, "Honestly, the whole journey has been challenging. When you're trying to follow a dream-especially when it goes against the norm-it's always tough." He claimed that although he was fortunate enough to get his family's support, things were not easy for him. "For many of us actors, we come from middle-class families where no one says, "Go become an actor." That kind of support, while emotionally present, isn't always practical. I've been fortunate in that my family stood by me, but still, it's not an easy road," Gualti shared. He added, "From living in Mumbai to dealing with the uncertainty of the profession, every step presents a new challenge. Whether it's the lack of opportunities or the struggles you face while seeking them, the road isn't smooth." Summarizing his journey so far, he called it "slow and steady". "If I were to sum up my journey in a single line, I'd say it's been slow but steady-and always moving upwards. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like The Amount Kate Garraway's Husband Left Behind Will Shock You Weight Loss Groove Undo It may not have been the fastest route, but it's been a consistent climb. Whether it was for Mumbai Meri Jaan, or my OTT work like Kala, Tukwan, or Maa-I've felt deeply encouraged by the response. Please know that it matters immensely," Gulati concluded.
