
Plane crash: Railways to run two special trains from Ahmedabad to Mumbai and Delhi
Ahmedabad - Delhi special train 09497 will leave Ahmedabad on June 12 at 11.45 p.m. and reach Delhi at 2.30 p.m. on June 13. Similarly, Delhi - Ahmedabad special train 09498 will leave Delhi on June 13 at 5.30 p.m. and reach Ahmedabad at 8.30 a.m. in the morning on June 14. Both services are Third Air-Conditioned (3AC) category trains and will stop at Mehsana, Palanpur, Abu Road, Marwad, Ajmer, Jaipur, Alwar, Rewari, Gurgaon and Delhi Cantt.
Also, Ahmedabad - Mumbai Central Superfast Special will leave Ahmedabad at 11.55 p.m. on June 12 and reach Mumbai Central at 8.10 a.m. Similarly, Mumbai Central - Ahmedabad Superfast Special will depart from Mumbai Central at 11.10 a.m. on June 13 and reach Ahmedabad at 7.30 p.m on the same day. Both trains will stop at Anand, Vadodara, Bharuch, Surat, Vapi and Borivali stations.
Bookings for trains 09497, 09494 and 09493 are open on Tatkal basis at passenger reservation system counters and IRCTC website. The train calendars can be checked on www.enquiry.indianrail.gov.in.
A spokesperson from the Ministry said the Railway Protection Force (RPF) Disaster Management Team headed by Assistant Security Commissioner, Ahmedabad Division along with a staff of six people and a hospital team comprising of six doctors, twenty staff and seven ambulances is rendering all possible help in the rescue operations.

It will include: 40 services between Lokmanya Tilak Terminus and Sawantwadi Road 24 between Lokmanya Tilak Terminus and Ratnagiri 24 between Panvel and Kudal 36 between Lokmanya Tilak Terminus and Kudal 18 between Dadar and Ratnagiri 8 each from Thane to Kudal and Sawantwadi Road 8 between Lokmanya Tilak Terminus and Pernem 6 between Pune and Sawantwadi Road. Western Railway's (WR) Plans For Ganesh Chaturthi The WR's special trains will connect Mumbai with parts of Goa and south Konkan. It will include: 26 services between Bandra Terminus and Madgaon 22 between Valsad and Sawantwadi Road 22 between Valsad and Kudal. Fares and timings The trains will have special fares. Passengers can check the timings on the National Train Enquiry System (NTES) app and railway websites. 'The services have been planned keeping in mind the seasonal rush towards the Konkan region and will be operated with additional halts based on demand. Indore: To cater to passenger convenience and address increased travel demand, on Saturday announced the operation of a Superfast Tejas Special train between Mumbai Central and Indore stations.
