Farah Khan built a swimming pool in her house after seeing Shah Rukh's team in trunks, Sonu Sood recalls Happy New Year cast going off to sleep in middle of film's premiere
After entering his new luxury abode, Farah met Sonu and teased him for not getting his dates. 'Sonu is such a good friend. It has been a year since our channel started, we weren't even able to get his dates.' To which, he responded, 'It is so difficult to get Farah's dates. She is so popular now. I have been chasing her since a long time. Bula le yaar.'
His wife and producer Sonali Sood came downstairs to meet Farah. The director recalled her unfortunate car accident and said, 'I came for around 5 minutes last time when you met with an accident in Nagpur. Itni chotti cheezein nahi thi tab ghar mein. Rohit Shetty type stunt karahi thi yeh. It's a miracle how you got saved, ya.'
In the vlog further, the couple gave her a house tour and met Dilip and praised his popularity. Farah was surprised to see how tall Sonu and Sonali's sons Ishant and Ayaan are. Appreciating a huge canvas painting of a car on the wall made by Ishant, she said, 'Sonu Sood se bhi lamba uska beta. Yeh tune banaayi hai? It's fantastic ya. Can you make anything else? Daddy ko ullu banaata hai?'
'Vo sabse zyada banaata hu,' he answered.

Farah Khan didn't shy away from praising the actor's directorial debut Fateh, which released earlier this year. 'You are a superb director. It is the most watched film on OTT? Wow,' she mentioned. Sonu announced a sequel of his film and said, 'Agla part two ki taiyaari hai, we will announce soon.'
While giving a house tour, he showed a beautiful thread art by a fan, hanging on a wall in his living area. He also showed a space which had a humungous display of sneakers, which the actor shares with his sons. Farah then met their younger boy Ayaan, who just gave his 10th standard exams, and said, 'Yeh kahaan se little yaar, itne lambe lambe bacche hain.'
Farah and Sonu recalled the memories of shooting Happy New Year together, while making avocado toast and chickpea tortilla wraps. 'We ate so much food during that shoot. But this man, Punjabi but pure vegetarian, he ate only one thing for 150 days of shoot, salad!' she shared. As the director revealed that she would be flying to Maldives with Dilip, Sonu revisited another moment from the film's shoot.
He said, 'We were shooting in Atlantis hotel, Dubai. We were on the 25th or 30th floor. Farah then said that she wants to go swimming. We went in the balcony and saw that Shah Rukh's Bengali staff kacchhe pehen ke swimming karahe the (Shah Rukh's Begali staff). I asked her if you still wanted to go. She said ki main ab zindagi main swimming pool mein jaana band kardungi.'
'Hum logon ne itni PR ki hai na Happy New Year ki, for months. Kisi ne koi picture mein nahi ki hogi itni. It was 40 days, then clam tour for three weeks, TV show bhi start kia, a dance competition, and then we went to Dubai for the premiere. We all were sitting in the first row and as soon as the film started, and in five minutes, all of us went to sleep. We were so exhausted,' Farah added.
Known for his humanitarian efforts, especially during Covid-19 pandemic, Sonu Sood shared that he has the address and phone number of every person he helped during that time. He sent a total of 7,23,000 migrants back to their village. Towards the end of the vlog, Farah Khan shared an anecdote from Sonu's 2017 film Kung Fu Yoga with Jackie Chan. 'When Jackie came to India, I won't take any names, but Sonu ne uss choreographer ko hataakar mujhe Jo ghusaaya tha usme. Then, we did a lot of bargaining after going to China,' she laughed it off.

Meet actress who allegedly dated star cricketer, later married into a royal family, sparked controversy due to..., she is...
While most heroines were told their careers ended with motherhood, Moon Moon Sen did the exact opposite. She married into royalty, had two daughters, and then made her big-screen debut at 30. With her first film Andar Baahar in 1984, she raised eyebrows. But it wasn't just her looks that made headlines; it was her confidence and bold choices, both onscreen and off. She later shared screen space with Madhuri Dixit in 100 Days and acted in a string of notable films like Kuch Toh Hai, Zakhmi Dil, Mohabbat Ki Kasam, and Sheesha opposite Mithun Chakraborty. Across Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada films, she appeared in over 60 films and 40+ TV shows. Where did she come from? Born into privilege, Moon Moon was the daughter of Bengali legend Suchitra Sen and granddaughter of a wealthy businessman, Adinath Sen. She was an English literature teacher in Kolkata and studied at Oxford before Bollywood found her. She married Bharat Dev Varma, from a royal lineage, in 1978. The couple has two daughters, Riya and Raima, both of whom tried their hand at acting. What about the Imran Khan connection? The buzz around Moon Moon wasn't limited to her films. Over the years, she was linked to several high-profile names, from Saif Ali Khan and Romu Sippy to Victor Banerjee. But the most talked-about was her alleged affair with former Pakistani cricketer and PM, Imran Khan. The media claimed the two dated and even shot for a magazine together, while Moon Moon was married. In a 2019 interview with PTI, she addressed it, 'I like spending time with Imran. If my husband doesn't have a problem, why should others?' She added that they were just friends. But the buzz never quite died down. Did she stop at films? Nope. Moon Moon later joined politics, becoming a member of Mamata Banerjee's Trinamool Congress and winning a Lok Sabha seat. Politics, like cinema, welcomed her late, but she made it count. Moon Moon Sen's story is one of charm, controversy, and breaking conventions. From teaching English to starring in 6 languages and facing political elections, her script was anything but ordinary.

Farah Khan will soon be taking her cook Dilip to Maldives. A note of appreciation for Farah Khan 'My lovely friend, the super-hit director, choreographer, dance show judge and everyone's best buddy in Bollywood is now also now a YouTube conquerer. I had the pleasure of working with her in Happy New Year in Dubai, for 21 days. She treated everyone alike. "I remember this scene when the stars were getting hit with tomatoes. I was standing behind in my silk Bebe suit acting as a News Reporter and accidentally one tomato came and hit me and burst open onto my expensive suit. Farah immediately called cut and asked if I was ok, told her crew to take me and help clean up and pay for any damage to my dress. Abhishek came running up to me and told me see it's not glitz and glam and the ever so chivalrous Bomi Irani came running up to me and apologized for not being able to save me. The whole experience of working with Farah and her team is no less than a magical, filmy Om shanti Om like feeling. Love you Farah." Farah's support for Dilip It was recently revealed that Farah is also sponsoring the education of Dilip's children in English medium schools. 'Kyunki abhi hamara show chal raha hai, iske bachchon ko English medium me daal diya hai. Aur ek bachche ko culinary school se diploma karaya hai, taki ghar me na kaam karein, kisi ache restaurant, ya bade hotel me kaam karein. (Since our show is currently running, I enrolled his children in an English-medium school. And I got one of them a diploma from a culinary school, so they don't end up working in homes but instead, work at a good restaurant or a big hotel)," she said in an episode of her show. Dilip has long been employed with Farah and their vlog receives millions of views every week.
