Ricky Davao's character Emil makes first appearance in 'Sang'gre'
On Thursday's episode, Emil was introduced as the feared leader of Pistol Gang in Distrito Sais, who are the primary instigators of various illegal activities and wrongdoings in the area, including exploitation of jeep and tricycle drivers, establishment of illegal gambling dens, supply of illegal drugs, and more.
His introduction came just after the deaths of bad guys Victor and his cohort, members of the Pistol Gang, after attempting to drive young Terra (Juharra Asayo) and her family out of their neighborhood.
While an unseen force (actually a duwende) made the culprits shoot themselves, Emil wasted no time asserting his dominance in their absence.
He sent his men to demand continued payments from Terra's family and their neighbors, hinting at the wider control he held over their community.
Ricky passed away in May after facing complications related to cancer. He was 63 years old. He is survived by his four children: Kenneth, Rikki Mae, Arabella, and Justine.

Police personnel receive up to P2M monthly payola from Atong Ang, says whistleblower
A whistleblower claimed that businessman Charlie 'Atong' Ang was paying some policemen up to P2 million monthly. In Emil Sumangil's exclusive report on '24 Oras' on Friday, Julie 'Dondon' Patidongan alleged that the go signal to abduct and kill the missing cockfight enthusiasts came from the businessman. Patidongan, who was former security chief in some of Ang's cockfight arenas, said that he was the one relaying the orders from Ang to the uniformed personnel. He recently turned over to the authorities the copies of petty cash vouchers for the cops. The highest amount allegedly paid was over P2.6 million to a police unit that allegedly did the job. 'Intel lang kasi nakalagay doon. Kapag sinabing intel, yun na yung P500,000, yun na yung bayad sa mga pinatay nila. Yung overall naman na kinukuha ng isang colonel, ang monthly niya ay P2 million,' said Patidongan. Patidongan vowed he would keep his statements until the trial. GMA Integrated News is trying to reach out to Ang and the Philippine National Police for comments regarding his new allegations. Patidongan earlier said Ang and three others were behind the abductions from 2021 to 2022. He said more than 100 were killed after being taken away. ‘Sang'gre': Flamarra, Adamus fail to defeat Mitena; Wantuk falls
Flamarra (Faith Da Silva) and Adamus (Kelvin Miranda) made a bold yet ultimately unsuccessful attempt to take down the powerful ice queen Mitena (Rhian Ramos), whose iron fist-rule continues to cast a chilling shadow over Encantadia. Friday's episode of 'Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre' showed Adamus convincing Flamarra that they must take action against Mitena after witnessing firsthand the cruelty and injustice under her rule. Donning cloaks and secrecy, Flamarra and Adamus infiltrated Mitena's quarters with the hope of catching her off guard. With the Encantados, led by Soldarius (Luis Hontiveros) and Wantuk (Buboy Villar), battling the queen's guards outside, the duo confronted the sleeping sorceress with an intense swordfight, unaware that their allies had secretly followed them. Despite Flamarra's warning for Mitena to leave Encantadia or face ruin, the queen remained unshaken. With a single slam of her Esperanto, she unleashed a freezing force across the battleground, leaving the pair no choice but to escape using their power of teleportation called Ivictus. Their sudden disappearance left Mitena enraged and suspicious. Informed that only Sang'gres have the Ivictus ability, she began to fear that there are still remaining Sang'gres she has not captured. Outside, Wantuk was slain in the skirmish, leaving behind his two sons, Mantuk and Tukman (Vito and Kiel Gueco). His death deeply grieved Flamarra and Adamus, with Adamus swearing vengeance against the queen and her loyalists. To prevent him from acting recklessly, Imaw used his Vedra Cedra power to temporarily erase Adamus' memories, an act meant to shield him from self-destruction until the prophesied savior, Terra, arrives. Dingdong Dantes proud of Marian Rivera's opening performance in 'Stars on the Floor'
Dingdong Dantes is nothing short of proud of Marian Rivera for her opening dance performance in "Stars on the Floor." In Aubrey Carampel's report in "24 Oras" Friday, the Kapuso Primetime King said that Marian owned the stage in that moment. "Nung nakita ko siya nag-perform sa opening, sabi ko, kitang-kitang — parang the stage is hers, 'di ba?
