Miley Cyrus Admits She's Into Her Ex Nick Jonas
Miley Cyrus is not holding back from talking about her previous relationship with her ex, Nick Jonas. On the June 6 episode of the 'Every Single Album' podcast, the 32-year-old even disclosed what she actually wanted to write about Jonas in her 2009 book, 'Miles to Go,' post-breakup, instead of what was published. 'I probably was like … 'Nick Jonas dumped me, he's a d—.' But they were like, 'We can say he's not a very nice boy,'' referring to the writer with whom she worked then. 'But I was probably like, 'He's an a——.''
Cyrus and Jonas first met in 2006 at a Charity Benefit. The Jonas Brothers even guest-starred on her 'Hannah Montana,' the Disney sitcom that launched Cyrus to stardom. During their time together, the former couple collaborated on the songs 'Before the Storm' and 'We Got the Party.' However, their whirlwind romance came to an end in 2007 after Jonas broke up with Cyrus right before the concert.
Despite the bitter breakup over a decade ago, Cyrus has only good things to say about her ex now. In the podcast, she admitted that she still 'like[s] Nick' and is still 'into him.' The singer also gushed over their nickname from when they dated, quipping, 'Niley for life.'
The pop icon even acknowledged that despite the past, both of them have moved on, and 'everything is good in the world.' Jonas is married to actor Priyanka Chopra. The couple is also parents to daughter Malti Marie. Meanwhile, Cyrus has been in a relationship with musician Maxx Morando since 2021 after her divorce from her ex-husband, actor Liam Hemsworth.

What Kyla Pratt And Her Daughter Look Like Now
This is the phenomenal Kyla Pratt, and she's a mommy. No, she's a mom. She has a daughter, a human child, and she's seriously a spitting image of her parents. Kyla and her longtime boyfriend, tattoo artist Danny Kirkpatrick, have been together since 2008, and share two daughters, Liyah, born in 2013, and Lyric, born in 2010. Before her adventures in motherhood, Kyla had the late '90s/early 2000s on lock, reprising her role in sequels to 1998's Dr. Doolittle, starring in One on One, and voicing Penny Proud in The Proud Family. Kyla's currently reprising her role as Penny in the revival series, The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder on Disney+. But, even with those most impressive acting credits, Kyla's most groundbreaking role is co-starring in her daughter Lyric's TikTok because why do they look so alike, and why do I feel ancient now? Back in 2023, Kyla and Lyric made their TikTok debut together for the first time, and everyone was stunned by their identical appearance. Now, Lyric has posted new videos with her mom, and people are even more flabbergasted at how much they look like each other. In a TikTok shared on Aug. 1, Lyric and Kyla were joined by internet personality and actor Charles Brockman III to recreate an iconic moment from the very first episode of The Proud Family, "Bring It On." People are rightfully losing it over the similarities. One person even joked that Lyric "literally looks like Penny" from The Proud Family. Another said that she "could play penny proud in a live action" version of the animated series. And like most millennials who grew up with Kyla, this person said, "this just healed something in me," and I get it. Lyric really looks JUST LIKE her mother! And, of course, she looks like her daddy, too! Look at those adorable smiles.

The Wildest Space Scene Of The Year Is In A New Family Movie
The golden age of Disney and Pixar is long gone, and modern animated family movies rarely exert much effort anymore. Enter The Bad Guys 2, a sequel to an okay adaptation of a series of graphic novels for children. The sequel is more than OK, it's a blast. The Bad Guys made plenty of money by being alright. The sequel could have made similar money by being alright again. They didn't have to try all that hard, which is why they deserve tons of praise. Try hard is exactly what the Bad Guys 2 team did. Bad Guys 2 is better than the first Bad Guys in nearly every way. It's a wild animated adventure with its own sense of style and nonstop momentum set to one of the best motion picture soundtracks of the year. The score by Daniel Pemberton is fantastic, but it'll get almost no credit because it's in a kids' movie that isn't trying to be serious. Pemberton is a legitimate talent. He did the score for the first Bad Guys, but he's also the ear behind the noteworthy music in Spider-Man: Into The Spiderverse. The score especially shines during the movie's best action sequence. It's one of the most energetic, fun, cartoony rocket launches ever laid out on screen. The movie's almost worth seeing just to watch Wolf, Snake, Shark, Piranha, and Legs scaling that rocket in mid-flight. It leads to the second-best space sequence of the year, beaten out only by the wild space chase in Marvel's new Fantastic Four. By now, I probably should have explained that this franchise is about a group of traditionally evil characters (The Big Bad Wolf, for example) who decide to stop being bad and try to be good. The second movie begins where the first movie left off, with our heroes having completed their transition away from being villains, only to discover that no one trusts them and they can't get a job. They get wrapped up in a heist with other still-bad guys, and things spin out of control. What's important is that every movie frame is packed with something exciting and fun. It never stops moving and creating. In that sense, Bad Guys 2 captures the feeling of the books. If you've read any of them with your kids, you know the strength of Aaron Blabey's books is how free they feel, as if anything and everything is always on the table at all times. The books are a non-stop thrill, and the sequel captures that better than the first movie. I'm not suggesting here that this is the kind of movie adults should seek out, without kids. You'll need someone under the age of 12 along with you to enjoy what The Bad Guys 2 has to offer. But if you go, you'll love this turbo-charged cartoon ride. Solve the daily Crossword

‘Batman' and ‘Casper' Are Coming Back to Theaters
This fall, the Sam Raimi Spider-Man trilogy is coming back to theaters, and they won't be alone. In the weeks and months ahead, fellow re-releases will include Tim Burton's Batman duology and 1995's Casper. In the former's case, both 1989's Batman and 1992's Batman Returns will be a special, one-night event on August 25. Over 160 Dolby Cinema at AMC Theaters locations will play the two movies, and it looks like AMC's putting enough enough distance between them for you to watch them in one go. At the time of its release, Returns was the first feature film to ever be released in Dolby Digital, which began what we now know as surround sound. This'll be the first time either movie has been presented in Dolby Vision or Atmos. Tickets for the two movies can be purchased here and here. Meanwhile, Casper returns to the big screen for its 30th anniversary this past May. The horror-comedy will play in theaters from October 3 to Halloween, a perfect kid-focused horror movie for the season. When it came out, it was the first movie to ever feature a fully CGI character in the lead role. You can grab advance tickets here. So for the re-release heads, that's Batman and its sequel on August 25, the Spider-Man movies on September 26, and Casper on October 3. And if that weren't enough, Disney's already locked down the original Star Wars to come back to theaters for its 50th anniversary on April 30, 2027.
