Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James and former teammate Lance Stephenson have one of the most notable relationships in modern-day basketball.

The pair faced off against one another in the postseason for three straight seasons from 2012-14, when James played for the Miami Heat and Stephenson was a member of the Indiana Pacers. Each series was as hard-fought and tough as you can imagine, despite Miami winning all three.
Furthermore, during Game 5 of the 2014 Eastern Conference finals, Stephenson decided to increase the pressure by blowing in James' ear as they stood next to each other after an intense game full of smack talk from both sides. The moment would go viral and be remembered as one of the more iconic playoff memories for both players.
However, James and Stephenson ultimately became teammates during the 2018-19 season with the Lakers, leading some fans to wonder if they ever discussed the iconic moment. But Stephenson shut down the speculation during an interview with CBS Sports reporter Ashley Nicole Moss.
'It was crazy because no one ever brought it up or talked about it,' Stephenson said. 'We just stuck to winning games and getting to know each other.'

Despite never discussing the incident, Stephenson claimed he decided to blow in James' ear to throw him off his game. 'You know LeBron is strong and athletic, so I was trying a lot of things to get him to not focus so we could win the game,' he admitted.
Stephenson's antics ended up working in the Pacers' favor that night as they defeated Miami to send the series to Game 6. 'But I was trying to frustrate him and do whatever it takes to win,' he continued.

'Bachelor in Paradise''s Hannah Brown reacts to Justin's rose ceremony shocker: 'I did NOT see that coming'

Each week during Bachelor in Paradise, Head of Paradise relations (and former Bachelorette) Hannah Brown will answer a few questions about the cast's "journey" to find "love." Today, Hannah shares her thoughts on the "chemistry test" smooch-fest, Justin's attempt to sacrifice his spot on the beach for Susie, and more. ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY: Brian immediately started ignoring Zoe the morning after she gave him a rose, and then ultimately dumped her for Parisa. What do you think of the way Zoe handled the situation, and what advice would you give Parisa in terms of moving forward with Brian? HANNAH BROWN: My heart went out to Zoe, y'all. There was a clear shift the morning after the rose ceremony — especially once Parisa showed up. Zoe is just the sweetest, but Paradise is all about exploring new connections... even though I totally get why she felt thrown off. Brian's energy was confusing, and when she did try to speak up, it felt like he wasn't really hearing her — just kind of deflecting. Now I'm super curious to see where things go with Parisa and Brian. There might be something there, for sure — but I also hope Parisa takes full advantage of this experience and stays open to exploring other people, too. This week's "chemistry test" had the contestants smooching multiple people. Explain why this is a helpful exercise and not just unsanitary and a little awkward. Co-hosting the chemistry test date this week was so fun! I loved it. It's such a cool way to really check in with those early connections and test new ones — like, is there actually something there, or are you just caught up in the moment and not giving the others a shot? And the best part: No judgement or outside noise. It felt fresh, different from anything we've seen on the show before, and honestly... I think it helped people start asking the right questions early on. Jonathon gave Alexe his rose, but Wells says he's not sure he sees a romantic connection between them. Where do you stand on this question? I loved how Alexe opened up about their strong friendship — and honestly, that kind of bond can be such a good starting point for something more. Sometimes the best relationships come from a solid friendship first! I'm still holding out hope for these two. We'll see what happens next. What was your reaction to Justin's decision to give his rose to his ex Susie so she wouldn't go home? You can just tell there's something really genuine between those two. Like, even in the way they talk about respecting each other and their individual journeys — it's clear there's a deep friendship there. And honestly, the way he chose to protect her and give her a chance to stay one more week? That says a lot. He put her first in that moment, and there's something really admirable about that. Before Susie even arrived on the beach, Lexi temporarily broke it off with Justin because she's worried he still has feelings for Susie. Now that Justin tried (and failed) to give his rose to his ex, do you think there's any hope for him and Lexi? Okay that ending?! I did not see that coming. I'm honestly still processing. There is so much going on, and I'm real curious to see how it all unfolds next episode. My heart kinda hurts for everyone involved. This interview has been edited for length and clarity. Pacers' Johnny Furphy throws down dunk of the Summer League in wild poster over Noa Essengue

The NBA's Summer League in Las Vegas is just getting started, but Johnny Furphy has already laid claim to what should easily go down as the dunk of the event. Furphy, after weaving his way up the court in the second quarter of the Indiana Pacers' matchup with the Bulls, cocked back and threw down a wild one-handed slam over Chicago rookie Noa Essengue on Monday afternoon at Cox Pavillion in Las Vegas. The replay and photos that came out of it were somehow even better. Essengue was taken by the Bulls took out of France with the No. 12 overall pick in the draft earlier this summer. He didn't stand a chance on the play. Advertisement Furphy is fresh off his rookie season in the league last season with the Pacers, who he helped reach the NBA Finals. After being selected with the No. 35 overall pick out of Kansas in the 2024 NBA Draft, Furphy averaged just shy of eight minutes per game last season for the Pacers. He averaged 14.3 points in the 10 games he played with their G League affiliate, too. Furphy had 11 points at halftime on Monday night. He finished with 15 points and shot 5-of-9 from the field in the Pacers' 114-105 loss to the Bulls. Essengue finished with 21 points for Chicago. While there is plenty of time left for someone to go after the 'Dunk of the Summer League' title, Furphy has set the bar incredibly high. That poster, which Essengue somehow already found himself on the wrong side of, is going to be very hard to beat.

Jessica Alba's mystery man revealed to be ‘Captain America' star as they return from Cancún getaway

Jessica Alba's mystery man has been identified. The actress was photographed with 'Captain America' star Danny Ramirez as the duo headed from Cancún, Mexico, to Los Angeles on Sunday. TMZ named the actor the following day. The 32-year-old kept a low profile while navigating the airport alongside the Honest Company founder, 44, over the weekend, with both wearing baseball caps. The pair refrained from engaging in any PDA during the outing. Reps for Alba and Ramirez did not immediately respond to Page Six's requests for comment. The pair initially sparked romance speculation in May when Alba was spotted holding hands with a man at a park in London. 'DANNY RAMIREZ AND JESSICA ALBA?!?!?!?' one fan wrote via X (per The News). 'I mean, the article said mystery man. But it could be, lol.' Other social media users supported the guess, while one argued that Ramirez had shorter hair than the man in question. Although Alba was reportedly not 'seeing anyone specific,' she congratulated Ramirez on his 'Avenger: Doomsday' role via Instagram in March. She reposted the announcement to her Story, tagging the 'Top Gun' star and adding multiple exclamation points. At the time, Alba was newly navigating her breakup from her husband of 17 years, Cash Warren. The Golden Globe nominee filed for divorce in February, one month after news broke of their separation — which Alba confirmed in an Instagram statement. 'We … will forever be a family. Our children remain our highest priority,' she wrote in January, referencing daughter Honor, 17, daughter Haven, 13, and son Hayes, 7. The 'Dark Angel' alum had hinted at her and Warren's relationship struggles before, admitting in 2021 that they were like 'roommates … going through the motions' and 'checking boxes.' Alba and Warren, who tied the knot in May 2008 in a Beverly Hills, Calif., courthouse, have remained amicable post-split. The exes even spent Easter together in April, and Alba publicly wished the producer a happy Father's Day last month. She and Warren have requested joint custody of their children.
