A case was registered after glass shards were found strewn on a road in East Delhi, which is part of the Kanwar route, said police. 'It came to notice yesterday night that a large amount of shards of broken glass had been strewn on a stretch of about one km of road in Dilshad Garden, on the route of Kaanwar Yatris, who walk barefoot,' the L-G wrote on X. 'Instructed police to reach the spot and directed PWD (Public Works Department) to immediately take corrective measures to clean the road. The road was cleaned within two hours by the PWD.
