Peter Kay releases more tickets for sold-out tour after breaking records
More tickets have been released for Peter Kay 's stand-up tour, it's been announced this week. The comedian is continuing his Better Late Than Never tour, with a number of shows still to come ahead of its conclusion next year.
Peter, 52, launched the tour in 2022 and it has since been named one of the most globally successful tours of last year. He's still on the tour, rebranded as Better Late Than Never Again, which is scheduled to end in June next year.
Through the tour, he's become the first artist to hold a monthly residency at the O2 in London. Peter previously described the opportunity to perform at the arena as an "absolute honour" and has another show there this month.
It's now been announced that extra tickets for his upcoming show at the O2 on July 26 have been released "due to phenomenal demand". The news was shared with fans this afternoon, including through his social media pages.
Announcing that tickets are on sale now, a post on an Instagram page for Peter read: "The record-breaking three-year residency continues. Astonishing 32nd show! Saturday 26th July - extra tickets due to phenomenal demand."
Standard tickets for the gig are available through AXS from £41.50 at the time of writing. Premium Seating and resale tickets are available through the provider for the show too. Tickets are also available through other providers.
Peter launched his tour in Manchester three years ago. He's set to return to the AO Arena in the city on July 25, the night before his upcoming gig in London. He's then scheduled to take a break before resuming the tour in September.
viagogo and resale tickets
Sites such as viagogo, Stubhub, and Vivid Seats allow fans to buy resale tickets from other fans. However, it is important to note that ticket conditions often prohibit resale after initial purchase. Those tickets may not be valid for admittance to gigs.
Fans intending to buy tickets for live events through resale websites should check the ticket terms and conditions, to confirm whether resale is prohibited, before they buy. Ticket terms and conditions can be checked with the original seller, such as Ticketmaster or Live Nation. If resale is prohibited, tickets bought second-hand could be voided and admission to the event refused.
The release of more tickets for his show at the O2 comes ahead of the comedian's memoir Peter Kay's Diary being published later this year. The book, which was announced just weeks ago, is currently scheduled to be released in October.
Ahead of its release in three months, it has been described as his "most personal and hilarious book yet". The upcoming memoir is said to take readers on a "laugh-out-loud journey through his life, month by month".
It's thought that Peter will discuss it with radio host Sara Cox at the Lowry's Lyric Theatre in Salford on September 14. Tickets for Peter Kay In Conversation with Sara Cox, which will have a matinee and an evening show, went on sale last month.
The venue apologised at the time over "issues" regarding booking tickets, with it telling fans that it was sorry for "any inconvenience caused". It was later said to have "resolved" them and announced that the two events had sold out.
The Lowry had said: "Peter Kay in conversation with Sara Cox is now sold out! Thank you for your patience while we resolved the issues with our ticketing systems."

Tammy Hembrow has responded to just one of hundreds of comments about her pending divorce from Matt Zukowski after seven months of marriage. The fitness influencer, 31, who announced her split from the Love Island star in June, hit back at one fan who accused her of 'pretending' the relationship never happened. 'Tammy, your love to Mathew was so loud,' one of Tammy's 17 million Instagram followers commented on a recent video. 'Now you're just pretending nothing happened.' The comment clearly struck a chord with the recently single mother-of-three. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. 'It was,' Tammy replied defiantly on Thursday. Tammy shut down criticism about how she is moving on, having listed her three Vera Wang wedding dresses for sale on Monday, and sparking rumours of a possible reconciliation with her ex-fiancé Reece Hawkins following a surprising late-night phone call. Tammy's three dresses include a rosy-hued, full-skirted tulle dress, a sleek bustier number and a short corseted dress with a dramatic train, all provided by Vera Wang. '[I'm] not pretending nothing happened,' Tammy told her critic. 'Just trying to move on with my life and focus on myself and my kids.' The social media star shares two children – Wolf, eight, and Saskia, six – with her ex Reece. In several videos posted to her Stories on Thursday, Tammy promoted an upcoming fitness challenge she will be doing. Tammy shut down the critique of how she is moving on, after listing her three Vera Wang wedding dresses for sale on Monday 'I am in the midst of getting in the best shape of my life, mentally, emotionally, and physically,' she announced. 'That's a huge focus of mine right now. I want to get to the best place in life that I possibly can.' It comes after Tammy revealed she 'didn't recognise herself' during her marriage to Matt, 29. The influencer revealed on Sunday that she has toned up her body and lost weight since leaving the marriage. She shared a video on Instagram that featured her look during and after her time with Matt, with Tammy having visibly trimmed down and gained muscle in recent weeks. In her caption, Tammy said she was feeling like herself again amid the painful and very public split. 'Guys I'm starting to feel like myself again. I don't even recognise myself in those first videos, to be honest,' Tammy wrote in her caption. 'You won't always feel motivated, but you will never regret starting and investing in YOU,' she added, while also promoting her fitness app. Tammy and Matt confirmed they had split on social media last month. Matt announced the couple's separation in a sombre Instagram Story, telling fans the decision was not taken lightly. 'It's with a heavy heart I share that Tammy and I have decided to separate,' Matt began. 'Both of us have struggled with making this decision, however we need to do what is right for ourselves and her three children. 'This wasn't a decision we took lightly. Our time together will always be cherished and never forgotten,' he added, before thanking fans for their support and asking for privacy. Despite their short-lived marriage, both parties have asked for privacy as they adjust to life post-break-up. 'We appreciate everyone's support and space at this time as we navigate the split,' Matt concluded in his emotional post. Tammy later addressed the split in an emotional TikTok video where she announced she was filing for divorce. 'I don't want to get into the details and I want to be sensitive to everyone involved,' she told fans. 'Obviously, when you marry someone, you do it thinking that it is going to be forever, and I blame no one but myself,' Tammy continued while breaking down in tears. 'I've made not the best choices when it comes to relationships. I'm good at putting on rose-coloured glasses. 'Obviously, the worst part for me is that I have kids. I don't care about me, I know I will be okay, but I feel awful.' Tammy and Matt They became engaged in December 2023 after dating for just three months.

Sam Thompson supports sister Louise at parliament to discuss birth trauma ordeal
Former Made In Chelsea star Louise Thompson was joined by her brother Sam Thompson as they spoke at parliament following her harrowing birth trauma ordeal in 2021 Sam Thompson was on hand to offer his sister support as she took to parliament on Wednesday. Louise, 35, discussed her harrowing birth trauma ordeal which saw her almost die in 2021. As she was preparing to welcome son Leo-Hunter to the world in 2021, former Made In Chelsea star Louise needed an emergency caesarean and lost "12 and a half litres of blood". Later, she suffered with PTSD as well as post-natal anxiety. Since the traumatic time she has also been diagnosed with Lupus and Asherman's syndrome. She has also suffered a second haemorrhage and required a stoma bag to be fitted. While in parliament, Louise and her brother spoke with Birth Trauma APPG, who raises awareness of the experiences of parents who have experienced physical and psychological harm from childbirth. Louise candidly opened up about the emotional trauma she felt during the birth. Sam, meanwhile, spoke about the impact the situation had on himself and close family members. Both Sam and Louise were later involved in a photograph to capture the moment. They smiled alongside Theo Clarke, the founder of the Global Birth Trauma Alliance and former Chair of the UK's Birth Trauma Inquiry to mark the occasion. The meeting comes months after Louise candidly shared details of her miscarriage pain and long-term health battle. However, at the time, she also said her decision to share the news with her fans sometimes felt "quite liberating". She opened up on a book about her ordeal, which was released in April. She confessed that writing Lucky was a "cathartic" experience as she worked to process everything she had been through. And she later admitted on Instagram that she suffered a miscarriage over a year ago. She said she has only told "a handful of people" but wanted to share it with her fans as she mentioned it in her book. Posting images of a positive pregnancy test alongside a screenshot of a website that estimated her due date to be September 10, 2024, she wrote on one of the images: "Tw: miscarriage and fertility struggles. I thought I'd include this so that people don't get the wrong end of the 'stick' - Pun unintended... and start wishing me a big fat congratulations for something that isn't warranted." She captioned the post: "This is not now, this was last January. The night before I got on a flight. As if things needed to get more complicated. "I only told a handful of people, but I wrote a bit about it in the book and now that it is out there in the big bad world I thought it was easier to share on here than to have anyone question it behind my back. "I often find it easier to write this sort of stuff down than to speak about it out loud. And hopefully this will help me process it. Sharing can feel quite liberating." Louise added: "The stick in this image is one of those things that I've buried. I haven't allowed myself to give it a second thought. In typical Louise fashion, one trauma has been quickly replaced by another swooping in to take my attention. "I haven't even spoken to Ryan about it in much detail either really... but we've had our plates full."
