Martine Rose moved to more elegant surroundings this season, with a set design resembling a haute couture salon decorated with wooden chairs and white curtains with ruffles that covered the walls and columns inside the St. Marylebone Jobcentre in London.
'I really wanted the models to enjoy posing and to have fun and for it to be charming because people are charming, aren't they?' said Rose, who worked with street-cast models for her show on Saturday.

She swapped her signature oversized silhouettes for shrunken, cinched pieces that had an undertone of awkwardness. Somehow it was still sexy, in the vein of Mills & Boon bodice-ripper romance novels.
Her characters, some of whom sported long Brian May-esque wigs, wore cropped leather jackets with biker pants; denim shorts with the pockets hanging out, and dresses with a faded tartan pattern.
There were two-in-one trousers with the top half resembling jodhpurs and the bottom nodding to soccer socks, and apron skirts with ruffles that matched the set design.
Rose said the collection was about inexplicable beauty. 'You don't know why you find something beautiful or sexy, but you just do,' said the designer. 'I wanted people to be sort of swept up in a bit of a dream, but [the designs] are still real. It's a sort of push and pull,' she said.
As always, Rose swung the spotlight on the local community. One floor down from the show space, the designer set up a street market and invited a handful of locals to take a corner and sell their T-shirts, magazines, antiques and accessories.
'The show space was an opportunity to celebrate all of the creative people in London and everyone that contributes to the cultural life and dynamism of London — and that needs celebrating,' said Rose.
After the show, guests including Romy from band The xx and Simone Rocha roamed around the market, which also had a bar and an area serving pizza.

The finale of the Willy Chavarria Spring Summer 2026 fashion show. Since debuting his namesake line in 2015, Willy Chavarria has stayed the course of its founding principles to find beauty that is often unseen and to promote political messages, deemed positive assuming your views are liberal, as most of fashion is. His core beliefs have led to an affiliation with the ACLU, for which he has designed merchandise for fundraising purposes. The T-shirt had print that read: "The ACLU dares to create a more perfect union - beyond one person, party, or side." Backstage, Chavarria was clear the expression of his feelings on the matter were not to be stifled, repercussion threats be damned. "With regard to activism and politics, regardless of what we do, we're being political. When we're not saying something, it's much louder than saying something. I have no choice; we have no choice in this moment, but to try to defend ourselves," Willy Chavarria walks the runway of his Spring Summer 2026 show. He also felt it was a necessary statement, but also ironic. "I named the show after my hometown, Huron, and my family is here in Paris, and for the first time, seeing one of my shows. It's an amazing, beautiful experience. Simultaneously, as of yesterday, ICE is attacking the town of Huron, with armed militia surrounding homes. It's a state of horror." Chavarria said, adding that he wanted to contrast the chaos of the kidnappings against the beauty of the people being chipped away and the families they leave behind. It was a heavy place to start a fashion show, but all of Chavarria's shows have addressed social issues. As the real clothes descended while Mexican activist singer Vivir Quintana serenaded the crowd to trimmed-down versions of Chavarria's outsize tailored silhouettes and came in bright colors that he said we derived from factory uniforms across the globe, and often in oppressive nation states. Oddly, when combined, Chavarria thought of the preppy look, recently reinforced through his TV watching habits of "Sirens" and "Palm Royale" "It made me think about this preppy narrative, this luxury about who is supposed to claim luxury because of its social status. I thought it would be fun to play with because that's an old idea of luxury, hence the dying luxury market today. From the heavy chords laid out in the chorus, to verses and bridge section that sounds reminiscent to the seminal Randy Rhoads-Osbourne albums, 'Fire in the Sky' is a track that often goes unnoticed when discussing great Ozzy Osbourne tracks. Lyrically and thematically 'Desire' is a definitive Ozzy Osbourne anthem. The 1991 uptempo groover off the multiplatinum LP No More Tears, has Osbourne candidly expressing his love for the rockstar lifestyle, and how it's been an innate desire since the beginning of his career. 'Flying High Again' is a joyous track on so many different levels. After his firing from Black Sabbath, and then experiencing the massive success of his first solo LP, Ozzy Osbourne's second album with guitarist Randy Rhoads had the singer finally living the rockstar dream once again. From the iconic guitar work of Rhoads to the endless good vibes throughout this song, 'Flying High Again' showcases why much of Ozzy Osbourne's solo work has become so timeless. Marijuana has been a part of Ozzy Osbourne's brand since the early days of him fronting Black Sabbath. Along with being a quintessential Sabbath track, 'Sweet Leaf' helped pave the way for Osbourne's outlandish and alternative brand of music that's inspired so many millions of listeners and musicians.
