Argentine international forward Joaquin Correa has already left the Nerazzurri. He officially signed for Brazilian club Botafogo, who were eliminated from the Club World Cup over the weekend.
Meanwhile, Marko Arnautovic's contract with the Nerazzurri runs out at the end of the month. Therefore, he will no longer be an Inter player from tomorrow on.

In the case of former Lazio and Sevilla forward Correa, the 30-year-old had cost Inter €14.9 million last season between gross wages and amortization.
Meanwhile, for Marko Arnautovic, that number was €9.7 million.
Therefore, between the two of them, Correa and Arnautovic had cost Inter just under €25 million.
That certainly constitutes a significant savings for the upcoming campaign for the Nerazzurri.

Barcelona make final decision on Gerard Martin's future
Barcelona have made a clear decision regarding the future of Gerard Martin. As per an update from SPORT, the club has decided that the young defender will remain a part of the first-team squad for the 2025/26 season, unless something unexpected changes the plan. Martin, who had no previous top-level experience before joining the senior squad last summer, quickly became one of the biggest revelations under Hansi Flick. Coming straight from the First RFEF, his performances last season exceeded expectations. In Flick's first year in charge, the 23-year-old full-back showed remarkable development and became one of the most improved players in the squad. The turning point for Martin came when he started in two of the club's biggest matches – the Copa del Rey final against Real Madrid and the UEFA Champions League second leg at San Siro against Inter Milan. He was crucial in both games, delivering two impressive assists and showing maturity well beyond his years. Gerard Martin has Barcelona's backing Barcelona will not sell Gerard Martin. (Photo by) After recovering from a recent injury, Martin featured in both of Barcelona's pre-season games, including a role as a left-footed centre-back against FC Seoul. Despite interest from Premier League clubs, Barcelona have no intention of letting him go. In fact, the outlet reports that the decision to keep Martin is final, barring a dramatic change. It is to be noted that the battle for the left-back position will be intense in the upcoming season. Alejandro Balde remains the club's first-choice in that role, but Jofre Torrents, another rising talent from La Masia, is pushing hard to break into the senior team. The added competition will only raise the level within the squad. Even so, the coaching staff and the board have full faith in Martin. His growth, tactical versatility, and ability to perform in high-pressure games have convinced the club that he is worth keeping. For now, Barcelona have shut the door on a transfer, and he looks set to continue in Blaugrana colours.

Ademola Lookman accuses Atalanta of breaking transfer promise
Serie A side Atalanta have rejected Inter's two bids for Ademola Lookman and the attacker has taken a snipe at La Dea for their approach. Earlier this week, Inter raised their bid for the Nigerian and this was followed by Lookman deleting every Instagram post involving Atalanta from his account. Now, the former Europa League winner has taken to Instagram and has written about La Dea's constant rejection of offers, making it clear that he seeks to leave the Bergamo club. He wrote, via TMW: 'Over the last three years at Atalanta, I've given my all. Not just as a player, but also as a person. I've always worn this jersey with pride and tried to best represent the club and the city of Bergamo with heart, passion, and dedication.' 'I came here with the hope of helping this special club grow, and together, we've created memories that I'll cherish forever. Winning the Europa League and celebrating that night in Dublin, side by side with my teammates and our fans, was one of the best and most meaningful moments of my career. Even today, I get shivers thinking about it.' 'Atalanta, and especially its fans, have become a part of me. From day one, I felt at home, and I've always tried to reciprocate that love—even when, behind the scenes, it wasn't easy.' Indicating his desire to leave, the Nigeria international said: 'This is precisely what makes writing these words so difficult. I've loved every single moment, but I feel that now, after three wonderful years in Bergamo, the right time has come to move on and embark on a new adventure.' Lookman revealed that Atalanta had informed him that any promising offers will be considered but accused them of breaking promises as approaches from Inter have been pegged back. 'Several clubs have approached Atalanta in the past, but I've always chosen to stay loyal. However, the club's owners and I agreed that now was the right time to leave, and I was clearly told that, if a fair offer was made, I would be allowed to leave.' 'Although an offer has now arrived that corresponds to what we agreed upon, unfortunately the club is rejecting it for reasons I don't understand.' He described all of this as unfair treatment from Atalanta towards him, making it clear that he has submitted a transfer request. 'For this reason, and after months of broken promises and what I perceive as unfair treatment towards me—both as a man and as a footballer—I feel, with regret, that I have no choice but to speak out for what I believe is right. I can confirm that I have officially submitted a transfer request.' It remains to be seen if Inter make another offer or not, but this can now force Atalanta into reducing their demands for the attacker. Kaustubh Pandey I GIFN

Ademola Lookman requests transfer from Atalanta citing broken promises and poor treatment
BERGAMO, Italy (AP) — Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman has handed the club a formal transfer request, the player said Sunday. Lookman made the announcement with a statement posted on Instagram. The 27-year-old said the request was made 'after many months of broken promises and what I feel has been poor treatment towards me as both a human being and as a professional footballer. 'Sadly I feel I have no choice but to speak out for what I believe is right and I feel that enough is enough,' he said. He said in the statement that it had already been decided that it was the 'right time' for him 'to move on and experience a new adventure.' He said he and the club ownership had been 'in agreement' that now was the right time for a transfer, and that the club agreed to let him leave if a fair offer was made. He said an offer did arrive but now the club was not sticking to its end of the agreement. 'Despite now receiving an offer in alignment to what I believe had been discussed, sadly the club are blocking the opportunity for reasons I do not understand,' he said. Lookman did not give other details about the offer. ___ AP soccer:
