Early Marriage Dreams and a 'Dushman' Mom
The discussion took an unexpected twist when Apoorva revealed she was already considering marriage. Farah was taken aback and immediately advised, 'Don't ever get married so young.' She then shared her own story, admitting that at 23, she too wanted to get married and felt her life was over, wondering, 'Kya hi hai life mein?' Her mother's stern warning, 'If you get married so young, I will throw you out of my house,' led to tears and a dramatic reaction, where Farah exclaimed, 'Other parents want their daughters to get married and you are my dushman.
'
Remembering it now, Farah said, 'But today, I am grateful that I got married around 40. I am very happy. I have three beautiful children. A good husband. At 40, you do whatever you want.'
Love Story with
Shirish Kunder
Shirish Kunder, known for editing 21 films, transitioned to directing with his first film 'Jaan-E-Mann'. He crossed paths with Farah Khan during her directorial debut 'Main Hoon Na'. Their marriage caught public attention, notably because Farah is eight years Shirish's senior.

On Marriage and Mindset
Apoorva brought up a practical concern, asking if she could marry someone after dating for 5–6 years. Farah reassured her with a smile, 'There is no date to get married,' and encouraged her by saying, 'You are just 23. Your mind will grow—' Before she could finish, Apoorva humorously cut in, admitting, 'My mind stopped growing at 13.'
From Bollywood to YouTube: A New Chapter
During the vlog, Farah and Apoorva also discussed Farah's surprising move from directing major Bollywood movies to producing YouTube vlogs.
When Apoorva asked if she enjoys this new path, Farah smiled and said, 'I have too much fun. If people come in time, it gets over in 2 hours.' She shared how she ventured into YouTube, explaining, 'I had written scripts for films but then I thought, I will have to wait for dates of the actors.
This gives me anxiety. People think, once you become famous, there is no stress. But that's not true. Even the biggest of stars get anxious.'
Setting Her Own Terms on YouTube
Farah revealed that although she received numerous invitations to launch a YouTube project, she set clear boundaries. She explained, 'I finally agreed but with a condition. I said, 'I will do this, but something of my own kind. It won't be a talk show or podcast. I don't want to run behind celebrities and struggle with their managers. I will take my cook and start a cooking vlog.' And it worked!'.
She added, 'By the time we did our second vlog, we received a silver button. Then we even received a gold. It worked well for us. Dilip and I started to have fun. Initially, it was just the both of us.'
Finding Joy and Balance
Khan shares that since starting her YouTube journey, she has discovered a refreshing balance and happiness in her daily life. Reflecting on her past, she notes, 'I haven't done movies in a very long time now.
But with movies, two years of your life goes into it. You can't do anything apart from that.' In contrast, vlogging offers her the freedom to live fully—spending quality time with her children, enjoying movies, relaxing with friends, and traveling.
Ending on a Humorous Note
Farah shared how unexpectedly widespread YouTube fame has become for her. She recalled a visit to SOHO House where affluent guests approached them, saying, 'We love watching your YouTube vlogs.
We love Dilip.' Surprisingly, even the watchman and the driver were fans. She reflected, 'The fanbase is much more. I am enjoying YouTube, and there's lots of money in it, which we didn't know. If only we knew this, we would have started it much earlier.
' Laughing, she pointed at Dilip and said, 'Dekho paisa tapak raha hai iske mooh se.' Ending the vlog with her signature humor, Farah made Apoorva wash the dishes. Apoorva quipped, 'This is how they treat outsiders in Bollywood,' to which Farah replied, 'I also make the insiders do the dishes.'

James Gunn reveals David Corenswet doesn't take it 'personally,' when asked to calm down
'Superman,' the story that runs in the blood of every fan, has seen many versions and heartfelt tributes over many years. David Corenswet , who continues the legacy, opened up about how Gunn asked him to calm down when he had too many questions. David Corenswet - James Gunn bond... In a conversation with GQ, David revealed the atmosphere on the set, where James Gunn would be sitting afar with his God mic and instructing the actors in front of everyone, which certainly is not how things work. He continued, 'You usually do the scene, they say cut, and then they come and say very privately and quietly, 'I loved that moment where you did this. What if we tried something else in the next one?'' "If I'm no good, tell me..." Quipping on the actor-director bond, the 32-year-old actor said Gunn's yell might sometimes throw the actors off, but he wasn't one of them. 'The second that happened, I went, OK, this is going to be great because I have no idea what I'm doing. I desperately need a director,' he continued, before adding, 'If I'm no good, tell me I'm no good, and then let's work together to make me good.' After they were done filming, Corenswet recalled that James appreciated him for having a vision of a filmmaker, for getting involved and trying to make a better film by asking questions. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Is it legal? James Gunn said... When asked about the bond, James responded, 'Sometimes his questions are great, and I totally see where they make him better, and because they make him better, they make the movie better. But every once in a while, it's just one question too many, and it's like, 'Oh, my God, just, David, stop, stop, for a minute.'' 'And the beautiful thing about me and David is that he knows that about himself, and he knows where my limits are. And when I say, 'David, shut the f–k up,' David totally gets it and does not take that personally,' he concluded.

From Chennai floods to deep friendship: Aamir Khan's support helped actor Vishnu Vishal-Jwala Gutta become parents in heartwarming story
What began as a chance encounter during the Chennai floods in 2023 has now blossomed into a deep, meaningful friendship. Bollywood actor Aamir Khan and Tamil star Vishnu Vishal were both stranded in the same locality along Old Mahabalipuram Road. That moment of shared adversity unexpectedly laid the foundation for a bond that would later transform the lives of Vishnu and his wife, badminton champion Jwala Gutta . A Silent Struggle With IVF For nearly two years, Vishnu and Jwala had been trying to start a family. Due to Jwala's age—she is now 41—the couple faced multiple failed IVF attempts. Vishnu recently opened up about this difficult chapter during an interview with Galatta Plus, revealing that after five to six unsuccessful cycles, they had almost given up hope of having a child. During this challenging time, Vishnu confided in Aamir Khan. Recognizing the couple's distress, Aamir immediately offered his help, urging them to come to Mumbai for further treatment. He personally recommended a doctor and opened his home to Jwala during her treatment, allowing her to stay with his mother and sisters for nearly 10 months. Throughout this time, Aamir treated them like family, with Vishnu frequently travelling between cities while Jwala remained under Aamir's care.
