Wimbledon 2025: Henry Patten, Adrian Mannarino among 12 players slapped with four-figure fine for staff abuse and on-court outbursts

Wimbledon 2025 so far has been thrilling for both the players and the fans, but the controversies around it have also kept the audiences on edge. Most recently, British doubles player Henry Patten has been hit with the heaviest fine of Wimbledon till now. The 29-year-old player has been asked to pay £9,000 for verbally abusing staff as they tried to cut his practice session short.
According to Express UK, after this, the second-highest fine was issued at £4,400 to Adrian Mannarino for his unprofessional behaviour in his second-round clash with Valentin Royer. Following this, Mannarino won that tie but crashed out to Andrey Rublev in the round of three.

Other players who have been slapped with fines for their unprofessional behaviour
At the third highest place stands Russian star Elena Pridankina, at £3,600. She has also been slapped with a fine because of her unsportsmanlike conduct during her first-round doubles defeat to Jelena Ostapenko and Hsieh Su-wei.
Other than them, four more players were fined £2,900. While Zizou Bergs and Halley Baptiste were punished for an audible obscenity, and Varvara Gracheva has been charged with abuse of rackets.
Anna Kalinskaya has also been charged with a fine for her unsportsmanlike conduct. German Jule Niemeier has been docked with £1,800 for her behaviour during her second-round qualifying loss.
Finally, the last four players were fined £1,500 each, including Alex Bolt and Chloe Paquet, who were charged for audible obscenities; Colton Smith for abuse of rackets and equipment; and Luca Van Assche for unprofessional behaviour.
Kyrgios's absence cuts into Wimbledon's fine totals
With Kyrgios absent from the main draw at Wimbledon, the tournament is reclaiming far less in fines than it typically might when the outspoken Aussie is competing.
Nick Kyrgios says he's likely paid close to 800,000 Australian dollars in fines throughout his career.
'Yeah, I've copped some hefty ones,' he admitted. 'Altogether, I'd say I'm nearing around 800 grand.'
