The Saudi Film Commission reported that eight Saudi films have captured 19% of the total box office share this year, a milestone reflecting growing audience confidence in domestic cinema. The top-performing local titles contributing to this surge include Shabab Al-Bomb 2, Hobal, Al-Zarfa, Is'af, Fakhr Al-Suwaidi, Leil Nahar, Saifi and Tashwish. Among these, Al-Zarfa stood out prominently during the week of July 13–19, earning $6.02m in ticket sales, placing it just behind the Hollywood release F1 The Movie, which led the box office with $7.01m. That week saw overall cinema ticket sales in the Kingdom reach $6.93m, with international films such as Superman and Egypt's Ahmed and Ahmed following in third and fourth place, grossing $2.05m and $0.93m, respectively.
