To ensure smooth traffic flow and public safety, traffic restrictions and diversions will be in place from 3pm until midnight.

Vehicle restrictions and diversions:
As per the advisory, the movement of roadways and commercial vehicles will be restricted across city routes during match hours. Buses and large commercial vehicles will be diverted to alternate routes, while private cars and taxis will be allowed with specific drop-off and parking instructions.
Vehicles approaching from Sultanpur Road will be diverted at Amalut Tiraha and Arjunganj Cantonment. Strict compliance with the diversion plan on Shaheed Path is expected, particularly for roadways buses.
Public transport adjustments
Only selected city buses operating between Shaheed Path, Humsafar, and Sushant Golf City will be functional, and only on the right side of the road. E-rickshaws and auto-rickshaws will not be allowed on Shaheed Path or its connecting roads for the entire day.

Auto-rickshaws coming from the Arjunganj side must drop passengers near Ahimamau and return from behind the Trauma Center near UP-112 and PGI. Similarly, autos from Sultanpur Road must drop passengers before Lulu Mall and will not be permitted to proceed further.
Parking or dropping passengers within 500 meters of the stadium is prohibited.
Cab and private vehicle regulations
App-based cabs like Ola and Uber will also face restrictions. Vehicles traveling on Shaheed Path between Humsafar and Sushant Golf City will not be allowed to stop or drop passengers.
Cabs from the airport side must drop passengers at Ahimamau, while those from the Arjunganj side may drop passengers near PGI and UP-112 before turning back at G-20 Tiraha.
Private vehicles with official passes will be directed via the water tank route from Ahimamau to a designated parking area near the stadium.
Those without passes will be diverted to Phoenix Mall parking. Once full, overflow parking will be allowed between the water tank and the stadium.
Two-wheeler riders will be allowed to pass the stadium and must park behind Phoenix Mall.
VIP/VVIP movement and security measures
Vehicles carrying VIPs or VVIPs will be allowed to drop off at the stadium but must exit immediately via designated routes toward Lulu Mall or PGI.
No parking will be permitted around the stadium premises.
Any unauthorized parking near the stadium or Phoenix Mall will lead to vehicles being towed and penalties being imposed. Entry will only be permitted to individuals carrying valid match tickets or accreditation passes.
Entry protocol and ticket guidelines
Entry gates will open three hours before the match, and no entry will be allowed after the midpoint of the second innings.
Re-entry to the stadium is strictly prohibited once someone exits.
Only original tickets with QR codes or valid mobile entries will be accepted. Photocopies or counterfeit tickets will be rejected. There will be no ticket sales at the venue on match day.
Spectators have been advised to arrive by 6pm to avoid traffic congestion expected between 6pm and 8pm.
Prohibited items
As per IPL and security guidelines, items such as cigarettes, hookahs, lighters, and other flammable materials will not be allowed inside the venue. Individuals without proper identification or valid tickets will be denied entry, and violators may face legal action.
Authorities have urged the public to cooperate with traffic and security personnel and to make use of alternative routes if not attending the match.
