Aaron Rodgers issues brutal three-word response to kid after almost hitting him at golf tournament
Aaron Rodgers had yet another cold response to a fan at a star-studded golf tournament in Lake Tahoe. The Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback competed in the American Century Classic over the weekend, joining a star-studded field of athletes and celebrities at the golf competition on the shores of Lake Tahoe. And while on the whole, the 41-year-old, like Jason and Travis Kelce, graciously greeted fans at the event, one young spectator received the cold shoulder. Just days after shutting down a suspected autograph hound, the signal caller had a hilariously savage retort to one youngster. In a video shared to X, Rodgers could be seen making his way through the ropes to his next hole when a young boy called out, 'You almost hit me, Aaron Rodgers.' Yet, Rodgers appeared completely unfazed by the near miss as instead of offering an apology, he simply fired back: 'Almost doesn't count.' Yikes: New Steelers QB Aaron Rodgers almost hit a kid with his golf club and roasts him instead of apologizing: Kid: "You almost hit me, Aaron Rodgers." Rodgers: "Almost doesn't count." He couldn't care less...😬😳 — Dov Kleiman (@NFL_DovKleiman) July 13, 2025 The moment comes three days after Rodgers put his foot down while signing autographs for fans at the golf event. In a video from Sports Illustrated's Gilberto Manzano that has since gone viral on X, Rodgers is seen identifying one suspected autograph hound and refusing to play a part in the scheme. Asked to sign a ticket stub from his first NFL appearance with the Green Bay Packers in 2005, Rodgers quickly became suspicious. The item is a rare collectible and not something an everyday fan might have, so when the man claimed he attended the game, Rodgers began asking some questions. 'You're talking to somebody with a great memory,' Rodgers told the fan. Rodgers was just a 22-year-old backup to Brett Favre when he was called on to make his NFL debut in mop-up duty at the end of a 52-3 win over the visiting New Orleans Saints. He completed one pass – his first as a professional – to fullback Vonta Leach for zero yards and later ran out the clock on New Orleans. 'I remember the score,' the suspected autograph hound told Rodgers. 'It was a blowout.' Rodgers didn't hesitate to confront the man: 'You remember the score. Who'd we play?' The man quickly responded, 'Saints,' but that was hardly convincing. As Rodgers pointed out, that information could be found on the ticket stub. 'I can tell you the score, I think,' the man shot back. 'I think was 50-3. I remember you threw a pass.' Asked who the pass was thrown to, the autograph seeker admittedly didn't know: 'I was 16. 20 years ago.' That non-answer ultimately doomed his effort to get Rodgers' John Hancock. However, the incidents have proven to be exceptions to Rodgers' warm reception of spectators over the week. The former Super Bowl winner has taken time to graciously greet fans, sign signatures and pose for photos. In particular, after Thursday's practice round he enjoyed a heartwarming reunion with his Lake Tahoe 'grandma'. Rodgers has become a fixture at the competition over the years, and along the way developed a friendship with a woman named Carol Sargent after she introduced herself to him two decades ago. And the quarterback and his 'Tahoe grandma' were seen embracing each other during his practice round on Thursday, as Carol excitedly put her arms in the air before wrapping Rodgers in a hug. In a video taken by the Daily Mail, Carol could be seen affectionately holding his face before the friends could be seen walking arm-in-arm together. Carol, who was featured in Rodgers' 'Enigma' Netflix documentary, said seeing Rodgers at the tournament was her 'favorite part of the year. 'Because we've made a really nice friendship, and we appreciate each other and nice to catch up,' she told the Daily Mail. 'He's a wonderful person, so I feel very fortunate.'

Justin Baldoni claims Blake Lively is using her 'celebrity status' to get an edge at deposition
Justin Baldoni is pushing back against Blake Lively 's request to be deposed in her lawyer's office ahead of their upcoming sexual assault trial. It comes after the 37-year-old actress expressed concern that Baldoni's attorneys will try to make her sworn testimony a 'public spectacle.' The 41-year-old filmmaker hit back by arguing, via his lawyer Bryan Freedman, that Blake has not supported her claim with evidence. According to TMZ, Baldoni's defense team believes holding the deposition at Lively's lawyer's office puts them at a disadvantage. Alternatively, they've proposed to hold the proceedings at their office, which is only a mile away. Justin's lawyer cited the potential need to consult with his hundreds of pages of notes and to use a conference room to speak in private. The actor claims Lively is using her 'celebrity status' to gain an upper hand at the deposition. It comes after the actress, 37, expressed concern that Baldoni's attorneys will try to make her sworn testimony a 'public spectacle'; pictured in June The two sides are preparing to face off in court after they clashed while filming It Ends With Us last year. Baldoni's side wrote in the filing, 'Although Lively's foot-stomping and use of her celebrity status may have enabled her to seize control of the film, which is the crux of this dispute, her counsel's tantrum has no place in this Court. Lively is bound by the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure like every litigant.' Lively is preparing to answer tough questions from Baldoni's legal team as she tries to nail down a venue for the deposition. Her legal team is hoping to schedule the deposition at a New York City location that will minimize publicity amid the whirlwind trial. The proposed venue's exact address was redacted in Friday court filings obtained by DailyMail. In a moment of snark, Baldoni's attorney Bryan previously told TMZ that Lively's deposition should be live-streamed to an audience at Madison Square Garden. Freedman's suggestion, which Lively's attorney shot down as a publicity-seeking distraction, was to sell tickets to the event and donate the proceeds to domestic violence victims. Lively and Baldoni butted heads while filming the romantic drama last year, and things turned litigious in December when the Gossip Girl alum sued the actor for alleged sexual harassing and engineering a retaliatory smear campaign against her In June, Lively suffered a setback in the case when a judge denied her attorneys' application for a protective order seeking to block her text messages with Taylor Swift from being entered as evidence. Baldoni's team subpoenaed Lively for text messages, emails and any other messages between her and Swift. His lawyers have subsequently been allowed to pore through the text trail, with all communications related to It Ends With Us set for scrutiny. In one embarrassing text exchange, Lively appeared to refer to herself as the Game of Thrones character Khaleesi, and to Swift as one of her 'dragons.' Elsewhere in Baldoni's filing is the claim that Swift was present at a meeting convened by Lively at her New York penthouse to discuss It Ends With Us script changes. Sources close to Swift insisted the singer had no knowledge of the meeting and simply arrived to find it underway. The situation reportedly left Swift — who is godmother to Lively's three daughters — feeling 'exploited' by her friend of ten years.

Brad Pitt beefs up security at $6M home after break-in as neighbors gripe he didn't have a 'good fence'
Brad Pitt has expanded the security at his nearly $6 million Los Angeles home. It comes weeks after the 61-year-old actor's mansion was broken into while he was in Tokyo on June 25. The thieves gained access to Pitt's Los Feliz residence after climbing the fence and entering through the front windows. A source told The US Sun, 'Neighborhood security was at the house about an hour before it happened.' The outlet's insider noted, 'He has personal security that was always there when he was in residence, but now he has guards there all the time. Locals did worry about the fact Brad didn't put up a good fence or a hedge, and the home was fairly easy to access.' It was added that 'as soon as the neighborhood security was off shift, three guys jumped [the fence]. It was really unfortunate.' It comes weeks after the actor's mansion was broken into while he was in Tokyo on June 25; An aerial view of Pitt's home in Los Angeles Three burglars reportedly ransacked the property for about 10 minutes before fleeing with an unknown amount of Brad's possessions. No arrests have been made as the police investigate. 24/7 security can run homeowners tens of thousands of dollars, but the Hollywood A-lister 'has enough cash,' according to the person close to the situation. His neighbors suggested security at the mansion may have been compromised in the days leading up to the dramatic June break-in. They claim they had not seen an unmarked private patrol car normally stationed right outside the actor's driveway for several days before the raid. Pitt moved from a $33 million home in the same area when he bought the smaller mid-century house, which previously belonged to Aileen Getty, in April 2023. Dubbed 'The Steel House,' it's 2,000 sq ft, L-shaped, and has just three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Days after the break-in, cops arrested a trespasser in the same neighborhood, which is also where Brad's ex-wife Angelina Jolie lives. On July 6 law enforcement detained an individual who entered the Los Feliz enclave by slipping through a gate. The unwelcome visitor had made it onto the street where Kristen Bell and husband Dax Shepard live when police caught up with him, according to TMZ. Insiders said that both security and residents called the police on the 'known' suspect, who tried to make a run for it before he was arrested.
