‘Asim Munir Shook Hands With US-Designated Terrorist': Owaisi Flags Pakistan-Terror Link In Riyadh
Owaisi exposed Pakistan during an interaction in Saudi Arabia and presented "clear evidence" how Islamabad backs terrorism and its army supports terrorists.
AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi, who was in Saudi Arabia as part of the delegation to expose Pakistan, presented 'clear evidence" of the country's involvement in terrorism and its army's backing of terrorists.
Owaisi, while speaking in Riyadh, showed a photo to prove how Pakistani army chief Asim Munir was promoted as Field Marshal and how he was seen sitting beside a US-designated terrorist at an event.
The AIMIM chief, who is a part of the delegation led by BJP MP Baijayant Panda, also underlined the need to bring Pakistan back to the FATF grey list to control terror funding.
'Pakistan must be brought back to the FATF grey list. That is where we will be able to control this terror financing of all these terrorist organisations. When this person (Asim Munir) was made a Field Marshal in Pakistan, a US-designated terrorist called Mohammad Ehsan was sitting right beside the Field Marshal. There are photographs of him shaking hands with this field marshal. There is clear evidence of Pakistan's involvement. These terror groups are prospering over there, they are being trained over there, and the whole task is to destabilise India to create more Hindu Muslim riots in India," Owaisi said.

According to the U.S. Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), Muhammad Ahsan—also known as Ehsan Muhammad, Ihsan Muhammad, or Ullah Ehsan—is listed on the Specially Designated Nationals (SDN) list. He is from Sialkot and Islamabad, Pakistan, and his birth year is listed as 1970, though other records show 1971 or 1972. He has been designated under the 'Secondary sanctions risk, section 1(b) of Executive Order 13244," as updated by Executive Order 13886. Ahsan is linked to the terrorist group Lashkar-e-Taiba.
Owaisi pointed out the duplicity and deceit of Pakistan in backing terrorists and said that Islamabad once termed Sajid Mir dead and later confessed that he was alive. He noted that several terrorists were jailed in Pakistan only for 'money laundering, not for terrorism".

'After 26/11, my government, headed by the then Prime Minister, late Dr Manmohan Singh, the Indian investigators went to Pakistan, gave them all the evidence, but you'll be surprised to know that nothing moved forward. What made Pakistan move forward in this terrorist trial was when Pakistan was put on the FATF grey list," he said.
'One meeting was held in Germany, and India wanted one Sajid Mir to be indicted, but Pakistan said he's dead… Pakistan came up to the Committee of FATF and said Sajid Mir is alive. Can you imagine the country which was saying he's dead, suddenly, he's alive? And then the Pakistani government said that our courts have convicted him for some 5 to 10 years, but the main culprits of the 26/11 are still scot-free. They were convicted of money laundering, not for terrorism," the AIMIM chief added.

Logistics played key role in Operation Sindoor success, says Rajnath Singh
Synopsis Defence Minister Rajnath Singh lauded Indian agencies for their seamless logistics management during Operation Sindoor, emphasizing its crucial role in the operation's success. He highlighted that modern warfare relies not only on weaponry but also on the timely delivery of resources. Seamless logistics management by Indian agencies-from mobilisation of the armed forces to delivering equipment at the right time and place-was a deciding factor in the success of Operation Sindoor, defence minister Rajnath Singh said on Sunday. ADVERTISEMENT In a virtual address at the convocation ceremony of Vadodara-based Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya (GSV), the minister said in the current era, wars are not just won by guns and bullets but by time-bound delivery of material, highlighting Op Sindoor as an example of excellent logistics management. "Whether it's soldiers fighting on the border or personnel engaged in disaster management, without coordination or proper management of resources, even the strongest of intentions weaken. Logistics is the power that transforms chaos into control. Power is measured not only by weapons, but also by timely resource management. Be it war, disaster or global pandemic, the nation which keeps its logistics chain strong is the most stable, secure and capable," he said. PDP reasserts self-rule demand, fields Irtiqa in key role on foundation day
SRINAGAR: PDP reaffirmed Sunday its demand for self-rule in J&K, saying it would continue to push for cross-border trade, easing of travel between the Union territory and PoK, and a 'dignified resolution' to long-standing political conflicts. 'PDP was never meant to be just another party… We stood for self-rule… We believed that peace in South Asia runs through the hearts of the people of J&K, and not over their heads,' the party said a day before its foundation day. Since unveiling its self-rule doctrine in 2008, which proposed cross-LoC economic integration and a dual currency system between J&K and PoK, the party has carved a distinct political path. Unlike most regional parties that have focused on restoring statehood following the abrogation of Article 370 in 2019, PDP has consistently called for full restoration of the article — and now appears intent on re-centring the political discourse around its self-rule narrative, sources said. Delivering the official message this year was Irtiqa Mufti, US-educated eldest daughter of party president Mehbooba Mufti . Irtiqa, who edits PDP's monthly mouthpiece Speak Up, said the party's foundation day was a moment to 'reflect on the idea that gave birth to PDP'. 'In 1999, my grandfather Mufti Mohammad Sayeed founded this party with the belief that the people of J&K deserve dignity, dialogue, and democratic rights,' she said in her widely circulated message. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like No annual fees for life UnionBank Credit Card Apply Now Undo Her appearance has fuelled speculation of her entry into politics, especially as her younger sister Iltija Mufti has been a prominent voice since 2019. However, PDP spokesperson Mohit Bhan said Irtiqa's current role remains within the party's communications team. Irtiqa has gradually stepped into the public sphere over the past few months, mirroring the political ascent once made by Iltija. Sunday's message marked her most visible role yet.
