Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Medical and Educational Sciences took part in the 'University Gateway Forum' organized by the Zayed Educational Complex in Al Barsha, Dubai. The forum, held as part of its inaugural edition for the 2024–2025 academic year, falls under the umbrella of the 'Year of Community' initiatives.

The protocol was signed by Eng. Ahmed El-Morsy, Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Mountain View Foundation, and Ms. Dalia Ibrahim, CEO of Nahdet Misr Publishing House, in the presence of Eng. Amr Soliman, Founder and Executive Chairman of Mountain View, alongside senior executives from both organizations. The partnership focuses on two main pillars: education and skills development, and culture and community enlightenment, with the ultimate goal of achieving inclusive and sustainable social development. Under the education and skills development pillar, Nahdet Misr will be responsible for developing, creating, and digitizing the technical education curricula for the applied technology schools affiliated with Mountain View Foundation. These curricula will be aligned with the evolving demands of both local and international labor markets and will adopt a modern, competency-based educational approach. In addition, Nahdet Misr will design and implement training programs aimed at enhancing the capabilities of teachers and educational leaders at these schools. The partnership also includes efforts to support the international accreditation of the educational programs and certifications offered, thereby improving employment prospects for graduates both in Egypt and abroad. In the cultural and community enlightenment pillar, both parties will collaborate to deliver a wide range of purposeful cultural activities designed to develop individual skills and promote a culture of reading and creativity. These efforts will include storytelling workshops for children and creative writing workshops tailored for both children and youth. Dubai: The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation (MBRF) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Arab Publishers' Association (APA) in Egypt to promote knowledge dissemination, reinforce publishing and distribution networks, and support industry creators through strategic support and innovative opportunities. The MoU was signed at MBRF's headquarters by His Excellency Jamal bin Huwaireb, CEO of MBRF, and Mohamed Rashad, President of APA, to establish a strategic partnership and reinforce collaborative frameworks in the fields of publishing, printing, and training. As part of the agreement, both parties will actively collaborate in key areas, including translation rights management, intellectual property exchange, and printing. It also outlines plans for organizing training workshops to empower publishing industry professionals, and showcasing Arab publishers' works on MBRF's Digital Knowledge Hub. 9 July 2025 15:12 ABU DHABI (WAM) The Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, represented by the Sheikh Zayed Housing Programme, announced the launch of an initiative to ensure the financing of housing support decisions for citizens benefiting from housing loans, with a particular focus on senior part of the Year of Community initiatives and with the aim of providing comprehensive insurance coverage, the initiative aims to provide life insurance coverage that fully secures the value of the housing loan. It addresses previous challenges faced by this group, where the maximum loan coverage age was limited to 70 years, leading to the rejection of some financing insurance coverage has been designed to be unified, fair, and offered at a low cost, ensuring that all eligible citizens benefit from current and future housing insurance covers cases of death or total permanent disability, whether due to an accident or other causes, with extended coverage up to the age of 95, providing long-term financial protection for Emirati Ministry indicated that the initiative is being implemented in collaboration with the Central Bank of the UAE, financing partners, and Takaful service providers, along with a wide range of national insurance companies, including Sukoon Takaful, and Abu Dhabi National Insurance Company (ADNIC).Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, Suhail Mohamed Al Mazrouei, affirmed that the initiative aligns with the leadership's directives to enhance the stability of Emirati families and ensure a decent life for all segments of said, 'Our wise leadership places the comfort and happiness of citizens at the forefront of its priorities.
