Delta Force Season Break start date confirmed as new maps and Operator revealed
The upcoming season of Delta Force is nearly upon us, and it's bringing with it new mechanics and enhancements to the Victory Unite mode, as well as a fresh Operator, maps, and additions to weapons and vehicles.
Delta Force Season Break (Season 4) is rapidly approaching and is set to be the most substantial update since the game's PC launch last December. Alongside new maps for Operations and Warfare, and a brand-new Operator, Team Jade is introducing a novel mechanic: swimming and diving, allowing players to explore underwater.
A jailbreak is on the cards for the Operations map, Tide Prison, which was previewed in the developer livestream – and the nod to Shawshank didn't go unnoticed. Players will start with no gear or weapons and will have to scavenge what they need during the mission, while undercover as a prisoner.
The map is set on an island prison, making it the ideal time to introduce swimming and diving mechanics; something the developer has been keen to implement for some time. While there won't be a solo mode at launch, it could be added later if players take to the map.
Team Jade is keeping schtum on the details of the new Warfare map Cyclone, which is linked closely to this season's gripping storyline. The studio hasn't spilled too much about the plot, but a brief summary suggests that Cyclone picks up right after the prison operation, with a promise of intense action over land, sea, and air – think more wild swimming and diving antics.
Staying on-brand with the water-based adventures, Jet Skis are the latest mode of transport to zip through the waves. But wait, there's more! The Cyclone sneak peek debuted dynamic weather; expect battles to heat up amidst the "gushing winds and torrential rain".
Over in the world of mobile Warfare, Team Jade is all about speedy matches, finally giving players the swift gameplay they're craving.
Jets won't make an appearance in the Delta Force Season Break update, but the studio hinted that these would grace the game in the season "after Season Break", which likely means gear up for them in Season 5. If you're eager to get every juicy detail, you can catch the Delta Force Season Break livestream on the game's official YouTube channel.
So mark your calendars, as here's what's in store when Delta Force Season Break kicks off.

New Warfare Map: Cyclone
A tropical island with a hidden ICBM missile site, the Cyclone is a grand map offering satisfying infantry and vehicle combat, and introduces a dynamic weather system which affects gameplay immersion and strategy.
New Operator: Tempest
Free with Battle Pass, Tempest comes with enhanced mobility via an exoskeletal device, emergency evasion devices, and a charged drill that disarms enemies, making her an ideal choice for close range combat and deadlocks.
The start of Delta Force Season Break coincides with the game's console release, meaning PS5 and Xbox gamers will also be entering the action. Additionally, the Black Hawk Down single-player campaign will be accessible as free DLC, which isn't a massive shock as it was a freebie for PC players too.

Love Island's Megan addresses Tommy conversation which viewers didn't get to see
Love Island star Megan Forte Clark has opened up on her time in the villa admitting that she saw red "for days" Megan Forte Clark confessed that she "saw red" in the Love Island villa and is now dishing on her biggest regret. In last month's show, during the first public vote, viewers were tasked with choosing their least favoured couple, leading to Remell Mannings and Megan being booted off the island. The 24-year-old brunette, who found herself entangled in a love triangle with Conor Philips despite being initially paired with Tommy Bradley, was seen locking lips with Conor on the terrace - later spilling to the other girls: "I kissed Conor on the terrace... I was like 'just f**king kiss me then... he was itching to do it." Following a dramatic confrontation, Tommy washed his hands of the romantic tug-of-war, leaving Conor free to pursue Megan - but fate had other plans as a surprise public vote saw her leave the villa soon after. Speaking candidly to Ode Entertainment post-villa life, Megan opened up about the tensions between herself, Tommy, and Conor, revealing an impulsive side she now regrets. On TikTok, the lass from Dublin divulged: "I wish I'd taken a breath", adding a frank admission: "You know when you hear something and you just see red, and I saw red for about four days." She lamented the poorly timed intervention by Conor, stating: "And then obviously while I was seeing red, Conor swooped in so it was just really bad timing. Of course, you only see the hour out of the 24." Confirming her and Tommy parted ways amicably, the musical theatre star stated: "When you see red like that, someone needs to sit you down and say like 'girl'." She elaborated: "I felt like the girls were seeing where I was coming from, so I think that's why I got more wound up." Viewers promptly took to social media to share their opinions, with one fan suggesting: "Bring her back for Casa." Meanwhile, another insisted: "Please bring her back for Casa." Following Megan's exit, which tugged at the heartstrings, Tommy is now coupled up with Emily, who previously paired with Conor. The atmosphere intensified as a tearful Conor questioned Megan: "Will you wait for me?" to which she tenderly responded: "I'll wait for you." Adding to the drama, Conor confessed to Ben that he sees Megan as potential girlfriend material outside of the show.

Social media users described Lola's behaviour as "weird" and thought it was "rotten" that you could buy Ed's pants SHEER-ING IS CARING I drove 3 hours to buy Ed Sheeran's pants in a charity shop for £20 – I found a red hair but trolls say I 'need therapy' Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) A WOMAN has revealed that she drove three hours to a charity shop to find clothes previously owned and worn by Ed Sheeran. Just days ago, news hit the headlines that the Thinking Out Loud singer had donated numerous items, including Ipswich Town merchandise, boxers and a bathmat, to a charity shop ahead of his homecoming gigs. The Ed Sheeran superfan headed to East Anglia's Children's Hospices (EACH) in Framlingham, Suffolk, in search of the 361 items that had been donated. Posting on social media, upon arriving at the charity shop, Lola gave her followers a close-up look at the rails of items and beamed: 'I drove three hours for Ed Sheeran's pants.' As she picked up a black pair of his undies, which were being flogged for £20, Lola gasped: 'There's a red hair on it, d'you reckon it's his hair?' Lola even spotted T-shirts, shoelaces and socks owned by the singer, as she explained: 'I don't know what to get, there's so much choice.' The savvy saver proceeded to sniff a pair of Ed's socks, as she stressed: 'I've gotta get these.' Lola then headed to the till, thrilled with her haul of goodies, as she told fans: 'You get a certificate of authentication with them…My life is made.' Scott Campbell, EACH e-commerce manager, said: "With Ed-mania sweeping through Suffolk, this is a perfect opportunity to maximise funds and raise as much as possible for our charity, while also getting in the spirit and having fun at the same time." Not only can Ed's fans buy his items from the charity shop in Suffolk, but they will even find items he has donated on the charity's online eBay page. Scott Campbell claimed it is going to be "fascinating" to see how much the items sell for, as he recognised: "Once again, Ed has come up trumps with an incredible, eye-catching assortment of clothing and items - from boxer shorts and bongo drums to jeans and jewellery. I spotted a gorgeous LBD in a charity shop for a fiver - when I Googled it I realised I'd bagged a £375 designer frock "Hopefully the momentum, interest and bidding will rumble on throughout the summer - with every pound raised making a difference and helping us continue our vital work supporting families and caring for children across East Anglia." And this isn't the first time Ed has donated his items to charity - he previously donated donated 450 items to the charity in 2022, which raised £30,000. My life is made Lola Amuah Also, when he became an ambassador for the charity in 2014, the musician raised £7,500 after donating 21 items, including a camouflage hoodie and pair of Adidas trainers. Genie Woodcock, retail central support manager, beamed: "What better time or place to snap us one of Ed's donations than in his hometown of Framlingham. "We're seizing the moment, and [are] excited to see what happens when these items go on sale." Top charity shop tips for bagging a bargain Ross Dutton has been a manager for Crisis's charity shops for four years and currently runs the charity's Finsbury Park shop in London. Choose your area - As a rule of thumb, the posher the area, the better quality the clothes that are donated. Don't hang around - If you see something you like, buy it, as it'll likely be gone when you come back Look out for cut-off labels - Some of your favourite high street stores will have deals with local charity shops to donate stock that isn't sold during their own sales. Often part of the deal is that they need to cut the labels off the clothes. Stay at home - While some charities have their own site, like Oxfam and Crisis. many also sell from dedicated eBay stores, such as British Heart Foundation and Scope. You won't get the range of bargains that you would get in a physical store, but if you're looking for something specific it may be worth checking online too. Social media users react But Lola's TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @lola_amuah, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly racked up 126,400 views. Social media users were gobsmacked by Lola's clip - but while some thought she needed 'therapy' for smelling his socks, others described buying Ed's previously owned pants as 'rotten.' Stalker behaviour TikTok user One person said: 'If you are serious then you need therapy. Why on earth would you want someone's used undies? Think about this. You are an adult.' Another added: 'As much as I love Ed Sheeran, I don't think I could buy his pants.' A third commented: 'That's f*****g rotten.' Meanwhile, someone else described Lola's actions as 'such weird behaviour,' whilst another agreed and wrote: 'Stalker behaviour.' Former The One Show star on loosing 'everything' after marriage split and BBC axe
Former The One Show star on loosing 'everything' after marriage split and BBC axe Former England footballer Jermaine Jenas was sacked by the BBC with immediate effect last year after he sent explicit messages to colleagues. Jermaine Jenas, known for co-hosting The One Show with Alex Jones, found himself in the spotlight last year following his sudden dismissal due to inappropriate conduct. The ex-England footballer, aged 42, revisited the controversy that also saw him ousted from his role on Match of The Day, a situation which precipitated the end of his 14-year marriage to Ellie, with the couple announcing their separation in March. Following allegations about sending explicit messages to colleagues, Jermaine faced additional career repercussions including being dropped by his representation agency. He has since reflected on the scandal and admits that he initially mishandled the fallout. Jermaine drew parallels between the texts he sent and the erotically charged narratives akin to those of Jamie Dornan's Fifty Shades film series, reports the Express. Jermaine Jenas spoke candidly about being sacked by the BBC last year (Image: YOUTUBE ) He described his sexting scenario as follows: "It was Christian Grey in text messages, put it that way. It was sexting, as simple as that, but it was initiated to me, and then I responded." The 42-year-old clarified the context of the exchanges, asserting: "It wasn't just me going out of my way, and it definitely 100% wasn't, 'If you do this, I will help you in your work.'There was no power element to it going on." Jermaine candidly discussed his marriage struggles with Ellie Penfold, acknowledging they faced issues even before the sexting scandal emerged. Jermaine Jenas and his wife Ellie Penfold announced their separation (Image: GETTY ) "There's a lot of stuff with me and Ellie where we weren't in the best place ourselves," he admitted. He also spoke on their challenges, adding: "And things were just spiralling a little bit. In no way is that blame. I'm fully accepting responsibility." Article continues below Reflecting on the consequences, the former BBC star expressed: "I dealt with it wrong and got heavily punished for it by losing pretty much everything that I had at that time." Having bounced back, Jenas is now with talkSPORT and shared at the start of the year his aspirations to better himself, stating, he would be a "better person".
