Zamalek slap EGP 1 mln fine on fullback Fatouh over disciplinary violation - Egyptian Football
According to a statement on the club's official Facebook page, Zamalek also suspended the 27-year-old Egyptian international's dues and launched an investigation after he was seen attending a party without permission.
Fatouh had reportedly left the team's ongoing training camp—part of preparations for the upcoming season—after citing a family emergency to visit his sick uncle.
However, a video later surfaced showing him at a party on the North Coast.
Fatouh, who joined Zamalek from Smouha in October 2020, has been a key player in recent seasons. He has scored six goals in 179 appearances across all competitions for the club.
The new Egyptian Premier League season is set to kick off on 8 August.

A majestic through ball by another former Barcelona team-mate, Sergio Busquets, sent the Argentine World Cup-winner racing through on goal in the 60th minute. Messi took his time and coolly feinted to wrongfoot Red Bulls goalkeeper Carlos Coronel before tucking away the finish for 4-1. Another Barcelona old boys combination delivered Messi's second. Luis Suarez crossed from the left and Messi controlled on the edge of the six-yard box to send a thumping finish past Coronel. Barcelona Close to Finalizing Rashford Loan Deal from Man United
Rana Atef Spanish club Barcelona are edging closer to finalize the signing of English star Marcus Rashford, the Manchester United forward, during the current summer transfer window, on loan with an option to buy. According to Spanish newspaper Marca, the Catalan club reached a final agreement with both the player and Manchester United, with the deal set to be a one-season loan that includes a buy option for €35 million. Egyptian League draw set for 27 July - Egyptian Football
The draw for the new 2025/2026 season of the Egyptian League will take place on Sunday, 27 July, at the Egyptian National Teams Center in El-Sheikh Zayed City, the Egyptian Pro League (EPL) announced on Saturday. The EPL announced early June that new campaign is scheduled to kick off on 8 August and finish in late May. For the first time in its modern format, the league will feature 21 teams after the EPL scrapped relegation last season. The enlarged field comprises last term's 18 top-flight sides plus three promoted clubs: Arab Contractors, Wadi Degla and Kahraba Ismailia.
