Love Island couple ordered to leave the villa just hours before ITV final
As we gear up for the semi-final of one of the most explosive Love Island seasons yet, two more islanders are set to be ruthlessly dumped from the villa, as they are voted out by their former friends and rivals, who aren't holding back.
One couple won't make it to the final of the show, as the latest teaser reveals a tense moment where all the previously dumped Islanders return to the villa for one last, game changing decision.
The official Love Island account took to Instagram to share the short clip from Sunday evening's episode, alongside the caption: "First look! Ex-Islanders return for a savage dumping, and they're not holding back."
Host Maya Jama appears to have returned to the villa one last time before she gets ready for the final, and is seen entering the villa to announce the latest twist. After a dramatic slow-motion walk into the villa, Maya shouts: "Hello, hello, hello. Are you alright my loves? How was the dates? Are you all loved up? Well I have some very important news. Can you come and join me on the lawn?"
The remaining couples in the villa are Yas and Jamie, Cach and Toni, Harry and Shakira, Ty and Angel, and Meg and Dejon, the Mirror reports. Maya delivers the news: "Well today, one more couple will be dumped from the Love Island villa and that decision will be made by some very familiar faces."
Among the returning islanders is Sophie Lee, who joined at the start of the series and became the first to be dumped on day two. Viewers will also see the return of Tommy who was once considered a frontrunner to win, before being dumped by Shakira.
The teaser sent fans into a frenzy as they speculated which couple the dumped islanders would be giving the boot. One viewer wrote: "Sorry, but after Thursday and Friday, it's gotta be Meg and Dejon. Their time is up", while another simply stated: "Harry & Shakira.. your time is up!"
A third shared their thoughts and penned: "For all the years of watching Love Island, it's my first time feeling this nervous about the finals. I swear my anxiety level is through the roof."
A forth fan stated: "Do the right thing and only let Yas, Jamie, or Cach near that money for goodness sake," while another expressed: "I swear if Shakira, Toni, or Yaz go home, I might have to have some therapy sessions"
Only time will tell who the dumped Islanders will vote for and which couple will say their goodbyes just a day before the final.
Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX, and the final will air tomorrow (August 4) at 9pm.

Maya Jama won huge praise for her hosting skills during Monday night's Love Island final - with fans lauding the star on X. After the final, the star, who has fronted the show since 2022, took to the microblogging site to respond to the adoring viewers. Among the tweets, Maya was praised for one of her interviews and the fact she did not use cue cards - something she was glad had been spotted. The delighted fan penned: '[For real] @MayaJama eating this interview. No card in her hands too. #LoveIsland', to which she revealed a behind-the-scenes insight. Maya replied: 'Cutey! I pride myself on the no Que cards so thankyou for noticing'. Adding to her organic presenting style, the host also hit out at a fan who claimed she should be more unbiased, although she remained defiant in her stance - telling the follower to 'shut up' amid criticism of a tender moment. Among the tweets, Maya was praised for one of her interviews and the fact she did not use cue cards - something she was glad had been spotted She also told a fan to 'shut up' when she was accused of being unbiased Maya was at the helm of the operation on Monday as she hosted the live final, which saw Toni Laites and Cach Mercer storm to victory. The loved-up pair beat Shakira Khan, 22, and Harry Cooksley, 30, to the top spot, while Yasmin Pettet, 24, and Jamie Rhodes, 26, placed third, and Ty Isherwood, 23, and Angel Swift, 26, came fourth. A number of hilarious, dicey and awkward moments took place on the show, particularly during Maya's grillings of the stars. She was praised for her professionalism in the face of scandals. Delighting in praise from followers, Maya responded with a heart Emoji when a follower wrote: 'A real professional presenter grew up with you Maya we know you're a real one who had to grind her way to the top... 'Not one of these tiktok-influencer turned journalists you get these days.' A stand-out moment in Maya's interviews was when Toni's ex Harrison Solomon, 22, rolled his eyes when she made a comment about his behaviour during the show. In her candid style, Maya pointed out: 'You did say that you learnt a lot being in here...' to which Toni said: 'That's for damn sure'. An intrigued Maya continued: 'What has been the biggest lesson for you do you reckon?' Toni replied: 'Don't put up with sh**ty men.' The camera then went to Harrison sitting with partner Lauren Wood, 26, at a table in the audience. The footballer rolled his eyes a number of times shortly after she made the dig at him. The crowd cheered in support of her and then he mocked the cheers by joining in. He then rolled his eyes again when she revealed to the audience that Cach had dropped the L-Bomb. In 2023, Maya spoke about being the woman for the job as she told British Vogue: 'I've been a fan of the show pretty much since it started. I know everything about it... My role is to deliver information and facts but, because I love it so much, I just want to be their best mate and be like, 'Are you sure you really like that guy?'' 'I'll be as involved as I can.'

Meghan Markle's brand sends her gushing birthday message as pals share unseen photos
Meghan Markle has turned 44 but stayed silent on her Instagram account having not posted on there for over a month - however, her As Ever brand did send her a birthday message Meghan Markle's own lifestyle brand sent her a gushing birthday message as she celebrated turning 44. The Duchess of Sussex marked her birthday yesterday but has been completely silent on her own Instagram account for almost a month. But to mark her special day, her As Ever lifestyle brand shared a new image of Meghan smiling as he wears a dress and sun hat in the garden. The message to Meghan read: "Celebrating the woman behind it all. She pours her heart, vision and magic touch into every detail, and today, we raise a glass to her! Happy birthday to our founder." It comes after claims Prince Harry 'admits he is still part of the Royal Family and finally sees sense'. Meanwhile, As Ever wasn't the only Instagram account to share unseen photos of Meghan as many of her celebrity pals took to the platfrom to wish her a happy birthday. Among them was her Suits co-star Abigail Spencer, who featured on the Netflix show With Love, Meghan with her pal. Sharing a selection of snaps of them together, Abigail wrote: "As glorious as the day I met you. Champagne in human form. A creature unlike any other. Thank you for being a sister in this life, and beyond. Words can't capture. From the rooftops. So grateful for your life, @meghan. Thanks for saving mine. Love, Abs. And in a rare comment, Meghan replied: "Thank you, sweet Abs! Right back at you, and happy birthday to YOU!" Jamie Kern Lima, who invited Meghan on to her podcast also shared a snap of the pair with the message: "Happy Birthday @meghan Wonder had so much fun making this for you! Can't wait to see what we learn on Season 2 of your show! Thank you for being love, light and such a generous friend to everyone you meet!" Fellow pal Tracy Robbins posted a photo of her and Meghan enjoying cocktails with the message: "Happy birthday my dear @meghan Oh how I can laugh and dance with you like no other. You are sunshine in a bottle! Thank you for always making time to be such a loving and connected friend no matter what's going on in your life. You dance through this life with so much grace, light and love! I hope your wee posse of 3 are smothering you with hugs and kisses today my dear! Happiest of birthdays M!' While her make-up artist Daniel Martin, who also appeared in With Love, Meghan, wrote: "HBD sis!" alongside a snap of Meghan with her dog Mia. It is not known exactly how Meghan marked her birthday but it is likely that any celebrations would have included her husband Prince Harry as well as their children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. At the weekend she joined Harry at the beach near their home as they watched six-year-old Archie take part in a surfing lesson. The past 12 months have marked many major changes for Meghan, especially since the dawn of 2025, with the launch of her new Instagram account, lifestyle brand as well as her Netflix cookery show. However, one thing has remained - Meghan and Prince Harry's long-running rift with the Royal Family following their dramatic departure from the Firm. It comes as news that Harry will 'never be forgiven' by two major royals despite reconciliation hope. And for royal expert Jennie Bond, while Harry will be keen to make his wife's special day as memorable as it can be, she believes the same can't be said for the rest of the Royal Family. The former BBC royal correspondent told the Mirror: "I definitely thought that being 44 was a bit of a nondescript birthday, not particularly worthy of a special celebration. But I'm sure that Harry will want to make a fuss of his wife on her special day. "As far as I can see, he is still head over heels in love with Meghan and will probably organise a romantic dinner or perhaps a beach party with friends and lots of children to celebrate their happy family life in California. Maybe a sunrise yoga session would set the day up rather nicely! "I don't think Meghan should hold her breath for birthday messages from the Royal family, though it may well be that Princess Eugenie- and possibly Beatrice - will send a present or a card." Meghan's small hiatus from social media comes despite her lifestyle brand As Ever continues to post on the platform, with announcement last week she will be selling another batch of her rose wine. And Jennie added: "I think Meghan deserves to be pretty happy with how this year has gone so far. Whatever she does or says gets slammed in the media, but she has built up a substantial social media following in very little time, the products that she endorses or sells seem to do exceptionally well, and her TV and podcast shows — although clearly not ground breaking – – are perfectly watchable, however much her critics like to pan them."
