Peter Andre says Princess is under 'pressure' after 'lip filler' backlash

Daily Mirror7 hours ago
Peter Andre has claimed that his daughter Princess is under 'a lot of pressure' for the way she looks, just days after the teen was accused of getting lip filler, which she denies.
Peter Andre has defended his daughter Princess, who turned 18 last week, after fans claimed she had gotten lip filler on a recent post - sparking backlash. Revealing that the teen is under 'a lot of pressure' regarding the way she looks, particularly due to social media, dad-of-five Peter said in his weekly New! Magazine column that he urges Princess it's what is inside that matters.
Forced to deny that she's had any dermal filler, Princess responded to an Instagram user who commented "Oh noooooo the lips have been done" on a recent post. "No they haven't? x," replied the teenager.

And writing in his column, Peter explained it's not easy being her age these days: "I do see though that there's a lot of pressure on teenagers nowadays with the way they look, especially with social media.

"But like I always tell Princess, someone could be the most beautiful looking person in the world, but if they're not a nice person, they're not that attractive. It's not about what you look like, it's about who you are that makes you truly beautiful."
He added that despite her recent milestone birthday, things don't feel any different at home: "Princess is now 18 and it already feels like ages ago. I think as a parent you automatically think they will now be totally independent ,but as she says, she doesn't notice any difference. Well I mean, you wouldn't after three days, LOL. She's still ringing me to let me know where she is and what time she'll be home, which is very sweet. Secretly, I love it."
Peter's comments come after his ex-wife Katie Price, who he shares Princess and son Junior, 20, with, hit the headlines for claiming she was 'left out' of Princess's 18th birthday party, which was hosted by Peter and his wife Emily.
'Princess is now an adult, so, officially, Mummy and Princess can go out together,' Katie stated on her podcast, The Katie Price Show, before adding, pointedly at Peter and his PR firm, The CAN Group, 'If certain people would let her be seen with me."
However, when contacted, the management firm claimed: 'We have never – and would never – stop Princess from seeing Katie. We would never intervene in any of our clients seeing their parents or not.'

Claiming that the situation left Katie 'upset', a source told Mirror over the weekend, 'The situation has really upset Katie,' says a source. 'There has been a build-up of tension recently and it all came to a head last week over Princess's birthday.
"Katie was devastated and felt like she had basically been banned from attending. All the talk about their relationship angered and upset her, and she had a bit of a meltdown – because she is still so close to her kids."

Now Jack has shared the heartbreaking reason behind his determination to turn his life around. Writing on Instagram, he said: 'I got called a fat 33 year old loser, a s*** boxer and everybody knows I'm s***. 'Imagine that from a 'loved one'. Only makes me have more heart and determination. 'I'll never stop training as hard as I can and I will reach my goal of southern area champion in professional boxing.' Jack added: 'Hurt my feelings but [I'm] using that as fuel. The backing I have, I can't lose now. My trainers believe in me so I believe in myself. Sticks and stones.' Opening up about his long battle with bulimia recently, Jack told how he'd go days without eating and, at one point, weighed just over eight stone. Speaking exclusively to The Sun, he said: 'I have been a bulimic for 19 years, bingeing on food and then being sick. 'There have been days when I have ordered a McDonald's breakfast on Uber Eats, then gone to the Co-op and bought 12 bags of salt- and-vinegar McCoy's crisps, then had bags and bags of fizzy belt sweets. 'I have had two large Domino's pizzas with all the sides. It makes me feel ashamed. Jack Fincham reveals been secretly battling bulimia for 20 years "There have been so many times that I have gone to the garage and got the same thing — a Ginsters Cornish pasty, one of their peppered steak slices, a sausage roll, bags of sweets and more McCoy's. 'I'd eat it all, then go to the downstairs toilet at my mum's — because nobody could hear me, as it was in the hall, next to the front door. I know it's gross, but for years I didn't actually think I had a problem.' He added: "I'd go three days with hardly any food and was so starving, my mum asked my boxing club if I could eat. 'They told her I could have a jacket potato with beans. I weighed just 52kg." Jack won Love Island in 2018 with ex-girlfriend Dani Dyer. The couple split just nine months later. Since then Jack has been in an on/off relationship with former Towie star Chloe Brockett, with him confirming last month they'd split for the eighth time. 5 Jack won Love Island with ex-girlfriend Dani Dyer in 2018 Credit: Shutterstock

Meghan Markle's dad swerved her wedding due to unexpected 'six-word reason'

Our community members are treated to special offers, promotions and adverts from us and our partners. You can check out at any time. More info It has been years since Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex had an active relationship with her father, Thomas Markle Senior. The Duchess has shared in the past that she "grieves" the loss of their once-close bond, and it is a known fact that Thomas hasn't met his grandchildren: six year old Prince Archie and four year old Princess Lilibet. The rift between Meghan and her father started ahead of Prince Harry and Meghan's high-profile wedding. In the run-up to their nuptials, Thomas was caught up in a media storm for staging photographs with paparazzi while getting his wedding attire tailored. These staged photos caused quite the stir and, alongside Thomas's serious health concerns, were rumoured to be why he failed to attend Meghan's wedding, resulting in King Charles stepping in to accompany his daughter-in-law down part of the aisle. Yet, according to a Royal confidante, there might be a far more significant reason for Thomas's absence from Windsor on Megan's special day – one that supposedly wasn't related to the notorious paparazzi incident. Royal author Sally Bedell Smith has disclosed in her Substack newsletter, Royal Extra, new information provided by one of Queen Elizabeth II's trusted friends - information which sheds light on the true cause of Thomas Markle's failure to witness his daughter's wedding, reports the Mirror. Lady Elizabeth Anson, the late Queen's cousin and close confidante, revealed to Sally Bedell Smith that Thomas Markle's primary reason for not attending the star-studded wedding was due to fear. According to Lady Elizabeth, arrangements had been made for Thomas to attend, including an accessibility plan for St George's Chapel. As Thomas "didn't do steps" due to health issues, he was scheduled to enter through a side door. However, in the end, he was simply "too scared to attend the wedding," Lady Elizabeth disclosed. Meghan has since shared that she discovered her father wouldn't be at her wedding through the media, and found it challenging to communicate with him directly in the lead-up to the big day. She was appalled when her father participated in and received payment for a paparazzi photoshoot - as was her mother, Doria Ragland. In Harry and Meghan's self-titled Netflix documentary, Doria expressed her shock at her ex-husband's actions, stating, "as a parent, that's not what you do. That's not parenting."
