Is the 2023-released Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra still worth taking into consideration in 2025? Well, why not? After all, the Tab S11 Ultra hasn't been unveiled yet (and I highly doubt it will go official at the next big Unpacked event in a couple of weeks), and last year's Tab S10 Ultra is not that much better than its predecessor. It is however significantly pricier, normally costing $1,200 and up and rarely dropping below the $999.99 mark in an entry-level 256GB storage configuration. The Tab S9 Ultra , meanwhile, can be had for as little as $699.99 if you hurry... and don't have a problem meeting a pretty simple special requirement.
$500 off (42%) Wi-Fi Only, 256GB Storage, 12GB RAM, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Processor, 14.6-Inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X Display with 2960 x 1848 Pixel Resolution and 120Hz Refresh Rate Technology, IP68 Water and Dust Resistance, AKG Tuned Quad Speakers with Dolby Atmos Support, 13 + 8MP Dual Rear-Facing Camera System, 12 +12MP Dual Front-Facing Cameras, 11,200mAh Battery with 45W Charging Capabilities, Graphite Color, S Pen Included, My Best Buy Plus or Total Membership Required ($400 Discount Available Without Membership) Buy at BestBuy We're talking about an obligatory My Best Buy Plus or My Best Buy Total membership, the former of which only costs $49.99 a year while giving you full access to many exclusive deals like this one and the Google Pixel Tablet promotion I literally just told you about.
If you find this condition too inconvenient, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2-powered Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra can still be yours for $799.99 after an instant $400 discount from a $1,199.99 list price with absolutely no strings attached.
Despite its advanced age, the S Pen-wielding 14.6-inch colossus on sale here delivers undeniably amazing bang for your 700 or 800 bucks. That Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen is just as sharp as it is massive, mind you, the battery is fittingly large and thus guaranteed to keep the Tab S9 Ultra going all day between fast 45W charges, not to mention the super-premium design with a robust combination of aluminum and glass materials and a razor-thin 5.5mm profile. The much more expensive Tab S10 Ultra, in case you're wondering, looks almost identical to this deeply discounted bad boy on the outside while packing an only slightly more powerful MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ chip under its hood. Virtually no other key specs have been changed by Samsung for its flagship tablet between 2023 and 2024, making the older generation a no-brainer purchase at its drastically reduced new price. Samsung Galaxy users warned to activate these security features before it's too late

As phone theft becomes more common around the world, Samsung is asking Galaxy users to turn on the newest anti-theft features now available on many of its devices. These updates, part of One UI 7, are designed to improve personal data protection in situations like robbery or loss. Samsung first launched these security updates with the Galaxy S25 series earlier this year, and they are now expanding to older models like the Galaxy S24 series, Z Fold 6, Z Flip 6, Z Fold 5, Z Flip 5, and the Galaxy S23 and S22 devices. Additionally, more Galaxy phones are expected to get them over time. A key feature in the new update is Theft Detection Lock, which uses motion detection to notice if a phone is snatched and then locks the screen right away. Offline Device Lock also helps by locking the screen if the phone has been offline for a while. Both features are meant to block access even if someone tries to disable the connection. Samsung's Remote Lock has also been updated. Users can lock their stolen phone by verifying their phone number and can then use Samsung's tools to recover their account and take further steps to secure it. There are also new protections for robbery situations. Identity Check adds extra security when someone tries to change settings in unfamiliar locations. If a thief knows the PIN, this tool still requires biometric verification. Another feature, Security Delay, adds a one-hour wait time before any changes to biometric data can be made. This gives users more time to respond if their phone is stolen. Auto Blocker is one of the many security features Samsung boasts about. | Image credit — Samsung Samsung also shared some tips in case your phone is lost or taken. You can use Samsung Find to lock or erase your device remotely. You can also display a message or contact number on the lock screen, but it's best not to share personal contact info. If your phone is connected to the internet, you can track its location, ring it, or turn on power saving to keep it alive longer. Galaxy Watches and other devices can also help find a missing phone or earbuds. These new tools will not stop theft entirely, but they give users more ways to protect their data and keep control of their accounts in difficult situations. It's good to see Samsung bringing light to this and providing updates on how these tools can protect their users. Secure your connection now at a bargain price! Deals: Poco F7 debuts with a price cut, Galaxy S25 Edge also discounted

The Poco F7 launched earlier this week and it comes with a discount right out of the gate. But how does it compare against the other F7 models? The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge has also gotten a price cut. The Poco F7 is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 and a large 6,500mAh battery. The chipset comes very close to the performance of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 inside the F7 Pro, though the phone can heat up to unpleasant levels during long gaming sessions. 90W wired-only charging is supported. The Poco F7 Pro is £80 more than the vanilla model. It has a smaller display (6.67' vs. 6.83'), but it is sharper (1440p+ vs. 1280p+). The battery is smaller too at 6,000mAh. Both phones have metal frames and IP68 ratings. While the 50+8MP camera setups look the same at first glance, note that the Pro has a larger sensor in the main (1/1.55' vs. 1/1.95') and can record 8K video (both can do 4K @ 60fps, though, which is more important). Poco F7 Pro £100 off Read our review 12/256GB - £400 at Amazon UK The Poco F7 Ultra is a flagship model with the Snapdragon 8 Elite, which offers significantly more performance (though it throttles worse than average under sustained load). It's not just the chipset, this model also has a telephoto camera (50MP 1/2.76' sensor, 2.5x/60mm f/2.0 lens with OIS) and a higher resolution 32MP ultra-wide. The battery is relatively small at 5,300mAh, but it supports both 120W wired and 50W wireless charging. For more on the Poco F7 Pro vs. F7 Ultra check out our dedicated article. Going back to the vanilla F7, the Poco X7 Pro is a cheaper alternative at £80 less. It has a smaller 6.67' display and a smaller 6,000mAh battery (90W charging). It's rated IP68/IP69, however, the frame is plastic. The Dimensity 8400 Ultra chipset comes pretty close to the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, even in graphics tests. The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge was quite pricey at launch, but the good news for people who want slim and light phones is that the price is already falling. You can pick up a 512GB model for £1,100 and you can subtract £100 from that if you have a Prime or Prime Student subscription. Or you can just buy a Samsung Galaxy S25+. In our Galaxy S25+ vs. S25 Edge comparison we note that the Plus has better battery life, but the Edge feels more premium and offers comparable camera performance. If you care about the camera, you really should be looking at the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra – it's £100 more expensive if you want 512GB storage. The Ultra is a lot heavier (218g vs. 163g), but it has two more telephoto cameras than the Edge (which has none). We have a detailed Galaxy S25 Edge vs. S25 Ultra comparison for a more detailed look at the pros and cons. We may get a commission from qualifying sales.

Previous reports were almost on the money, though there are slight variations that make it even clearer that theis a repackaged Galaxy Z Fold 6 Flip will have the following specs:Meanwhile, thewill have the following specs:TheSE was a very limited edition Samsung foldable that was mostly aimed at the Chinese market to help the company compete with domestic offerings. According to leaked Fold 7 renders and other reports, theis borrowing more than a few things from the Fold 6 starters, theis the exact same size as the SE. Some reports have claimed that the upcoming foldable will have a main display that is 0.2 inches larger than the SE, though this report says otherwise. The, when unfolded, is also just as slim as the the Fold 6 SE had a 200 MP main sensor as well. Lastly, theis replacing the under-display camera with a traditional punch hole camera instead, just like the Fold 6 SE comprehensive, there are still a few unanswered questions left after this leak. Will theuse the Exynos 2500 globally or just in a select few markets? There's also still no confirmations for the's cameras. Thewill, despite a reliable leak as of yet, very likely feature a disappointing 4,400 mAh battery with 25W of wired charging. I wish this report had been able to confirm the specs have probably proven, theis going to be one of the best foldables of 2025, despite the underwhelming battery. In fact, the Fold 7 sold me on foldables before the foldable iPhone could, and that's a feat in and possibly the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE will all be announced next month and become available in August.
