Woodall stars opposite Rachel Weisz, who plays a woman spiraling into obsession after meeting a charismatic new colleague, Vladimir.
It's a story charged with dark humor, complicated desire, and unraveling boundaries. As Netflix describes it as 'a woman's (Weisz) life unravels, she becomes obsessed with her captivating new colleague. Full of sexy secrets and dark humor, the series is about what happens when a woman goes hell-bent to turn her fantasies into reality.'
Weisz not only stars but also executive produces the series alongside Jonas, who is adapting her own novel for the screen. The series is being produced by 20th Television.
Following his breakout as the dangerously charming Jack in The White Lotus Season 2, Woodall went on to lead Netflix's romantic drama One Day and appeared in Apple TV+'s Prime Target. He also stars alongside Renée Zellweger in Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy , and will next appear in Nuremberg , a historical drama written by Zodiac screenwriter James Vanderbilt.

David Carnoy/CNET There are a few key things to highlight about the 1,080-pixel Skyworth portable TV. First, it's Wi-Fi-enabled and is equipped with Google TV, so it's a streaming device. It's also got Chromecast built-in so you can cast to it from an Android phone (I was able to cast the Spectrum TV app to it from my iPhone 16 Pro but had to fiddle around with the settings in my Google Home app to get it to work). And finally, it has an integrated battery that delivers up to 3 hours of battery life in energy-saving mode (the battery life seemed closer to 2 hours in my tests). However, when you start streaming, the picture does appear to be 1080p. You just aren't going to get inky blacks. But it is a matte screen that cuts down on the glare and has a relatively wide viewing angle. The TV is designed to be taken outdoors, though it has no water resistance rating, so you wouldn't want to leave it out in the rain. There's a mini soundbar in the base -- Skyworth says the TV is equipped with Dolby Audio -- that can play pretty loud, but the dynamic range is a little narrow. That's a polite way of saying there isn't a whole lot of bass. But again, for casual viewing, it does the job and you could connect a better speaker to it if you wanted to you. You could also connect a streaming device like a Roku 4K Streaming Stick to it. David Carnoy/CNET Screwed into the back of TV is a handle made out of faux leather for carrying the TV, which is fairly lightweight at 11 pounds. Skyworth also sells a carrying case for it, which is also currently on sale for $50. Is this a better option than a portable monitor? In some ways, yes. First off, this is bigger than most portable monitors, and to reiterate, the key feature here is the integrated battery (alas, it doesn't appear to be replaceable), so you can view the TV wherever you want (for 2 to 3 hours anyway). I used it on my home Wi-Fi but also connected the TV to my phone's hot spot when I was outside, and it worked fine streaming content. True, it's significantly more expensive than many portable monitors, but the use case for a portable monitor tends to be different. Max Will Change Back to HBO Max on Wednesday
Warner Bros. Discovery has settled on a date to reskin the Max streamer back to HBO Max: Early this Wednesday morning, according to streamer insiders. The flip won't happen simultaneously, but customers will see 'HBO Max' on the apps that formerly said 'Max' across the streamer's territories on July 9. The switch had been anticipated to take place sometime this summer, but Warner Bros. Discovery hadn't revealed an exact day for the reversal until now. The timing is key: Execs wanted to restore the 'HBO Max' name prior to next week's Emmy nominations announcement on July 15. Discovery's upfronts presentation. At the time, WBD said in a press release that 'returning the HBO brand into HBO Max will further drive the service forward and amplify the uniqueness that subscribers can expect from the offering. It is also a testament to WBD's willingness to keep boldly iterating its strategy and approach — leaning heavily on consumer data and insights — to best position itself for success.' Later, at the WBD upfront, Warner Bros. Discovery president and CEO David Zaslav added, 'The powerful growth we have seen in our global streaming service is built around the quality of our programming. Today, we are bringing back HBO, the brand that represents the highest quality in media, to further accelerate that growth in the years ahead.' The streamer launched as HBO Max in 2020, but then WBD opted to excise HBO from the streamer's name in 2023, changing it to just 'Max.' The return to HBO Max just two years later elicited plenty of guffaws in the industry — including internally. Comparing the name change to Donald Trump's decision to rebrand the Gulf of Mexico as the 'Gulf of America,' Oliver said on his show: 'Sometimes, hypothetically, before we can get used to one dumb name' — here the HBO Go logo appeared on the screen — 'some genius comes along and only makes it dumber' (HBO Now). 'Then, somehow it gets dumber still' (HBO Max) 'and against all the odds it becomes even worse' (Max) 'before inexplicably going back to the stupid thing it was before' (HBO Max). HBO/Max's social team also had some fun with the change. 'These rebrands are trying to murder me,' the (soon-to-be-defunct) Stream on Max account said in its updated bio on X at the time.
