Man charged with murdering woman who was found dead in house
Courtney Angus, 21, was discovered at an address in Norfolk Street in Batley on Saturday.
Officers were called to reports of an armed robbery at Asda in nearby Dewsbury at 9.20pm.
They arrested a man, who told officers about a woman who he believed to be dead inside a house in Norfolk Street.
A knife was seized at the scene, police said.
Officers attended the address in Batley and found Ms Angus, from Dewsbury.
On Wednesday, West Yorkshire Police said Michael Moore, 37, of Norfolk Street, Batley, has been charged with her murder.
He has also been charged with possession of a bladed article, affray and two counts of threatening a person with a bladed article in a public place.
Police said these charges relate to incidents in Dewsbury on the same day.
Moore has been remanded in custody to appear before Leeds magistrates on Wednesday.

(AP) — Police in Tennessee have charged a 23-year-old woman with assisting a man wanted in the murders of the parents, grandmother and uncle of an infant found alive miles away from the crime scene. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said Dearrah Sanders of Jackson, Tennessee, was arrested on Monday and charged with being an accessory after the killings. Investigators also arrested two men over the weekend on similar charges, alleging they helped 28-year-old Austin Robert Drummond after the July 29 killings. Drummond remained on the run on Monday afternoon, the TBI said in a news release. Authorities have left many questions unanswered, including how the three people allegedly helped Drummond, the manner in which the victims were killed and how the baby ended up in a car seat in the Tigrett area, roughly 40 miles (64.37 kilometers) from the bodies. Last week, authorities said they found the car in Jackson that they believe Drummond had been driving. Authorities believe the family murders were a targeted attack by Drummond, who had a relationship with the victims, Tennessee Bureau of Investigation Director David Rausch said. The baby is safe and being cared for. Officials have warrants for Drummond that charge him with four counts of first-degree murder, one count of aggravated kidnapping and weapons offenses. His criminal history includes prison time for robbing a convenience store and threatening to go after jurors. He was also charged with attempted murder while behind bars. Authorities have identified the four people found dead in Tiptonville as James M. Wilson, 21, and 20-year-old Adrianna Williams, the baby's parents; 15-year-old Braydon Williams and 38-year-old Cortney Rose, the mother of Adrianna Williams and Braydon Williams.

Teenager arrested in Paris on suspicion of murder as Met continue investigation into shooting of Keanu Harker
A teenager has been arrested in Paris on suspicion of murder as police continue to investigate the killing of Keanu Harker in north London. The 18-year-old was found with gunshot wounds on Great Cambridge Road in Southbury, Enfield on the evening of June 26. Sadly, despite the best efforts of medical professionals, Mr Harker later died in hospital from his injuries. On Sunday, an international arrest warrant was issued for a 17-year-old boy, who has not been named by authorities. The Metropolitan Police said extradition proceedings "will commence in due course" following his arrest. That same day, an 18-year-old girl was arrested at London St Pancras International station on suspicion of assisting an offender. Scotland Yard added that the female suspect remains in custody. Several other arrests have been made relating to Mr Harker's alleged murder, with two people charged in connection with the investigation. A 17-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was arrested on June 29 and charged the following day with murder. Eliezer Mbike, 25, of Oulton Road, Tottenham, was arrested and charged on June 30 with perverting the course of justice. A trial will commence at the Old Bailey in May. A 39-year old man was arrested on July 24 on suspicion of conspiracy to murder. However, he has since been bailed to return in September pending further inquiries.

Two more people arrested in Bury murder investigation
Police have made two more arrests tonight, Monday, following the death of a teen in Bury on Friday. The 19-year-old was fatally stabbed just before 9pm in a car park off Market Street and a murder investigation was launched soon afterwards. He has today been named as Mohammed Afzal, known to his loved ones as Isa. Sadly, despite the best efforts of emergency services, Mohammed died from injuries he received in the incident.
