Infinix has officially confirmed that its gaming-focused GT 30 will be launching in India soon. The Transsion sub-brand has also confirmed that the new device will be available in two colour variants, Blade White and Dark Flare, and will continue to feature RGB lighting on the back, just like its predecessor.
The announcement by Infinix India comes shortly after the phone was introduced in the global market, alongside the XPAD GT gaming tablet, GT Buds 4 wireless earphones, and a power bank.
While the specifications for the Indian variant of the GT 30 Pro aren't yet clear, a look at the global variant should give us a fair idea of what to expect. The Infinix GT 30 Pro (global variant) comes with a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a 2160Hz touch sampling rate. It offers 1100 nits of brightness in High Brightness Mode (HBM) and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i on the front, with an IP64 rating for water and dust resistance.
As for performance, the GT 30 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Ultimate processor with support for LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.
The GT 30 Pro comes with a dual camera setup with an 108MP primary shooter and an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens. On the front is a 13MP shooter for selfies and video calls. It packs a 5,500 mAh battery and comes with support for 45W of wired fast charging and 30W of wireless charging along with the ability to reverse wireless charge at 5W.
The GT 30 Pro runs on Infinix's own XOS 15 ,based on Android 1,5 and is promised to receive two years of OS updates and three years of security patches.
Infinix GT 30 Pro starts at MYR 1,299 (around ₹ 26,000) for the 12 GB RAM/256 GB storage variant, and MYR 1,499 (around ₹ 30,000) for the 12 GB RAM/512 GB storage variant. Based on the pricing of the GT 20 Pro and other phones launched by Infinix in the last year, it is safe to assume that the GT 30 Pro could also be priced under ₹ 25,000 mark in India.
However, this is all speculation at the moment, and the official price will only be revealed when the GT 30 Pro makes its official debut in India

Infinix GT 30 5G+ confirmed to launch in India on 8 August: Expected price, specs and more

Infinix has confirmed that its latest gaming-focused smartphone, the GT 30 5G+, will launch in India on 8 August. The new smartphone comes just a few weeks after Infinix launched its GT 30 Pro smartphone in India with the Cyber Mecha 2.0 design or LED light interface at the back of the device, and the GT 30 5G+ is all set to continue that trend. Ahead of the official launch of the GT 30 5G+, Infinix has shared a number of key details about the smartphone, including its processor, display, colour options and AI features. Infinix GT 30 5G+ will be available in three colour variants: Pulse Green, Cyber Blue and Blade White. While the Blade White colour variant was also available for the GT 30, the other two options are exclusive to the GT 30 5G+. In the teaser image showcased by Infinix, all three colour options seem to be packing white-coloured LED lights at the back, which is a departure from the GT 30 Pro where one variant had white LED lights while the other one had an RGB lighting setup. Infinix has confirmed that these lights can be set to three different patterns, 'breathe', 'meteor' and 'rhythm', to customise them for 10+ scenarios like incoming calls, notifications, games and more. Also coming from the GT 30 Pro is the GT shoulder triggers, which are essentially touch-sensitive capacitive buttons placed on the right-hand side of the device and can be set for certain tasks inside a game. Infinix will also provide the ability to customise these buttons for camera controls, quick app launches and video playback. The phone will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 256GB storage. This is the same processor that also powers the likes of iQOO Z10R and Motorola Edge 50 Fusion. GT 30 5G+ will run on Infinix's XOS 15 based on Android 15. Infinix has stated that, much like its other devices this year, the GT 30 will come with a suite of AI features like Circle to Search, AI call assistant, AI writing assistant and AI Magic Voice Changer (for games). While Infinix has not given any details on the price of GT 30, the phone is expected to come under the ₹ 20,000 price bracket given that the GT 30 Pro already starts at around ₹ 25,000. At this price, the phone would compete directly against the likes of CMF Phone 2 Pro and Poco X6 Pro.

Infinix GT 30 5G+ India launch confirmed: Dimensity 7400 processor, 1.5K AMOLED display and everything expected

Soon after launching the Infinix GT 30 Pro in India, the Transsion sub-brand has now confirmed that it will soon launch a vanilla version in the series. Here's a look at everything we know about the gaming-focused device ahead of its launch. Infinix GT 30 5G+ is shown in a new teaser video by Infinix in a green colour variant and with the same Cyber Mecha 2.0 design that we saw earlier on the GT 30 Pro. To recall, the GT 30 Pro came in two colour variants: Blade White and Dark Flare. While the former came with RGB lights, the latter featured RGB lighting. Given that the GT 30 will likely come with a green coloured variant with white lights, it will be interesting to see if the company also launches another variant with an RGB lighting setup. Apart from that, the phone is expected to look more or less the same as the GT 30 Pro with a vertical camera island, a plastic back and a bit of funky design that goes with the phone's whole gaming branding. It is also expected to come with shoulder triggers, which were a big part of the appeal of the GT 30 Pro. In case you aren't aware, these capacitive buttons come in handy during gaming and can be programmed to do certain tasks like shooting, focusing on a target or running. Infinix GT 30 is expected to feature a 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone is likely to run on XOS 15 based on Android 15. The new UI from Infinix features no ads or bloatware, while having some nifty features like Smart Panel, floating windows and Dynamic Bar. The phone is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 processor, which we have previously seen on the likes of the Vivo T4R and Motorola Edge 60 Fusion. It could also pack a 5,200mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging. Infinix did not release a vanilla GT variant last year, so it's hard to pinpoint the price bracket for the GT 30. However, given that the GT 30 Pro is priced around the ₹ 25,000 mark, one would assume that the upcoming device should be priced under the ₹ 20,000 bracket.
