In collaboration with MAC Global and People Entertainment Group, the popular show reimagines the classic whirlwind romance of Sandy and Danny, with generous sprinkles of slicked-back hair, puffy skirts and jukebox energy.
Grease The Musical will feature all the nostalgia-spinning tunes you'd expect, including Summer Nights, Greased Lightnin', Hopelessly Devoted to You, and You're the One That I Want, all performed by a top-tier cast with punchy vocals.

Die-hard Oasis fan couldn't get ticket to historic reunion tour… but ‘hatched ingenious plan to blag his way in'

LOOK BLAG IN ANGER Die-hard Oasis fan couldn't get ticket to historic reunion tour… but 'hatched ingenious plan to blag his way in' A DIE-HARD Oasis fan who couldn't get a ticket to the historic reunion tour has claimed he managed to get in using an ingenious plan. The Britpop icons took to the stage in their hometown Manchester for the first time in 16 years on Friday night as an 80,000-strong crowd roared on. Advertisement 3 John Spilsbury claims he posed as a litter picker to see Oasis at Heaton Park Credit: Facebook 3 Once inside he removed his disguise to enjoy the show Credit: Facebook There were countless fans who were unable to grab tickets for the sold-out event with many throwing their own party behind the venue and others trying to sneak in. On Friday, a number of fans - reportedly as many as 50 - were seen armed with a ladder as they tried to scale a fence into the gig. And then, on Saturday night, fans could be seen storming the fences at Heaton Park in droves as the Gallagher brothers took to the stage shortly after 8pm. But one Oasis fan who couldn't get a ticket for the comeback concerts simply posed as a litter picker to walk straight up to the front - and he claims it worked. Advertisement John Spilsbury allegedly wore a yellow hi-vis vest and carried a litter picker and a bin bag before walking up to the gates at Manchester's Heaton Park. He claims that not only was he waved through, but that he was also able to get to the front standing section a few hours before Liam and Noel Gallagher and the rest of the band came on. He said he did a "30 minute shift" of litter picking before he removed his disguise to enjoy the show when it started. John revealed his stunt on social media and posted photos of him as a 'litter picker' and of him rocking away. Advertisement John, who comes from Alfreton, Cheshire, posted: "No Ticket No Problem. "When you can't get a ticket for Oasis so take a hi viz and grabber and pretend to be a litter picker then walk straight into front standing." Rather than come in for criticism, people were quick to praise John online, calling him a 'legend and a genius'. Others jokingly remarked how there will be '6,000 litter pickers' turning up at the next Oasis concert while Wembley stadium will be 'spotless'. Advertisement Manchester City Council, who own and manage Heaton Park, have been contacted for comment. Three further gigs are set to take place at Heaton Park this week - on Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday - before Oasis travel to London to perform for five nights at Wembley Stadium.

Nucti Gatwa makes new claim about withdrawal from Eurovision role

Ncuti Gatwa stated he decided to withdraw from being the UK's Eurovision spokesperson "long before it was announced", despite the announcement coming just one day before the 2025 song contest. Initially, "unforeseen circumstances" were cited for his withdrawal, but Gatwa clarified on "Sunday with Laura Kuenssberg" that he was "very busy" with work schedules and press commitments. He denied that his withdrawal was related to the involvement of Israeli contestant Yuval Raphael, reiterating his busy schedule as the sole reason. Gatwa also discussed his departure from Doctor Who, explaining that the role was physically and mentally strenuous, leading him to decide it was "time" to leave. He is set to appear in the West End play "Born with Teeth" and the comedy film "The Roses" in August.

Yoko Ono in startling new evidence over claims she broke up The Beatles

A leading Beatles historian has opened up about Yoko Ono's role in the demise of the band amid years of speculation that her presence in the recording studio caused friction Yoko Ono was not a factor in the break-up of The Beatles despite being blamed for decades, a historian claims. Martin Lewis points to Apple TV's recent Get Back series as evidence her presence in the Beatles studio did not cause the tension between John Lennon and his bandmates many insist was behind the demise. Yoko being at the 1969 Let it Be album recordings has gone down in music folklore as the beginning of the end for the Fab Four. But Martin, who has worked with both her and Paul McCartney in recent years, said: 'The fans wanted a villain. The media likes a villain. We all do. That's natural, but not reality.' ‌ Speaking about the Apple TV series, he added: 'They are in the studio. Yoko 's there, which was unusual. They didn't normally have wives or girlfriends in the studio. Who does John relate to through the whole eight hours? He looks at Yoko once in a blue moon. His eyes are on Paul. He's with his buddy of the last 13 years. It's all about John and Paul. ‌ READ MORE: Neil Young BST Hyde Park show is dramatically CUT OFF as bosses pull the plug 'Yoko was there, she wants to be there. He's not rude. He's just not interested. He's working with his mate and having fun. The whole film gives the lie to that nonsense. It's John and Paul, but bonding, writing, having fun, reminiscing. He's polite to Yoko. "She didn't break up the Beatles. John and Paul have been together since July 57, when they were 17 and 16 respectively. They were nearly 30. That's a long time. So they were growing apart. She's not the villain.' ‌ Martin also claimed racism played its part in the treatment of Yoko and her public perception. Speaking at the LA Jewish Film Festival's opening night film Midas Man, about Beatles manager Brian Epstein, he said: 'A lot of it was racist because John was dumping his English rose wife and going off with a Japanese and an Asian woman. John made a very interesting point… up until Yoko, he was [called in the media] John. 'The minute he met Yoko, he became Lennon.' In 2023, McCartney claimed Yoko's presence in the studio caused issues between him, Lennon, Ringo Starr and George Harrison. He said: 'I don't think any of us particularly liked it. It was an interference in the workplace.' ‌ Martin claimed Yoko, 92, will not be writing a memoir to set the record straight on her lifelong negative representation. A recent book about her, Yoko, by David Sheff, said she was spending her last days 'listening to the wind' on a 600-acre farm bought with John in New York State. Daughter Kyoko Cox, 61, said of her mother: 'She believed she could change the world, and she did. Now she is able to be quiet - listen to the wind and watch the is very happy, in a happy place. This is genuine peacefulness.' In the biography, musician son Sean Lennon, 49, praises his mum for fighting adversity. ‌ Sean, who is now in charge of the family's interests in the Beatles estate, said: 'She had this ability to overcome difficulty with positive thinking. 'She really wanted to teach the world to do that. She taught my dad to do that. It's not going to stop a moving train, or a bullet. But I think there's something profound about it.' The couple met in November 1966 at London's Indica Gallery. They married in Gibraltar three years later. The Beatles split in 1970. John was murdered on the doorstep of his New York home in December 1980.
