It can now be revealed that Meghan sourced her ingredients from American firm The Republic of Tea.
But the company sells its comparable tea for between $11.50 and $14 for 36 tea bags - meaning Meg's offerings will set you back three times as much.
Sources close to Meghan confirm Republic of Tea is her supplier but insist her blend is "different" to what they offer.
Royal expert Margaret Holder said: "Customers are paying a considerable increase for Meghan's label.
"She is taking advantage of celebrity branding. But it's a case of Meghan Mark-up not Meghan Markle."
The Duchess restocked her Herbal Hibiscus Tea and Herbal Lemon Tea last Friday for $12 for 12 tea bags.
They sold out within hours along with her $15 flower sprinkles and $28 limited edition orange blossom honey.
But internet sleuths scoured the page source of the on the As ever website tea and found the brand was listed as The Republic of Tea.
Since it emerged online and on social media the brand has been changed to 'As ever store'.
The Republic of Tea sells a vast range of teas included one branded from Netflix show Bridgerton and ITV series Downton Abbey.
Its headquarters are in California but factory is 2,000 miles away in Nashville, Illinois.
As ever has also launched its first alcoholic beverage with a 2023 Rose.
The booze is set to be available from July 1 which has raised eyebrows as would have been Princess Diana's 64th birthday.
Ex-palace spokesman Dickie Arbiter, speaking on The Sun's show Royal Exclusive, said: "I don't think we should be surprised that anything she does and as far as bringing out a wine, it's going to sell for something like £20 or 28 US dollars. It's a lot of money.
"And if you're going to go into that sort of business, you've got to produce a lot of wine to make money. If her jam is anything to go by, it's going to be sold out in about ten minutes.
"How many bottles is she producing? Who's producing it? She's not a wine expert. So, you know why go into something that you probably know nothing about?"
A spokesman for Harry and Meghan declined to comment.

A bill signed last year makes it illegal to operate under the current Chinese owners, but the ban has been delayed three times and the company has always refused to sell. However, on Sunday, Trump told Fox News a "group of very wealthy people" wanted to purchase the app from ByteDance. He said: 'I think I will need China['s] approval, and I think President Xi will probably do it." Without revealing any details, he added: 'I'll tell you in about two weeks.' The closest to Trump has come to barring American users from TikTok was at the time of his inauguration in January this year. A ban took effect on January 19, and TikTok shut itself down an hour before that, telling users "you can't use TikTok for now" due to a "law banning TikTok". But around 12 hours later it came back online after conversations between the US and China behind the scenes - and was available for download again three weeks later. Since then, Trump has delayed the ban three times - twice for 75 days and most recently by 90 days on June 17. The eventual ban or sale is required by a "foreign adversary" bill signed in March 2024. ByteDance challenged the Act, but it was upheld by the Supreme Court in January. Steve Mnuchin, Trump's treasury secretary during his first term in office, also floated the idea of purchasing the app with a group of billionaire investors when the ban was first passed. Amazon reportedly made a last-minute bid to purchase TikTok three days before the second recent extension in April. The bill banning continued Chinese ownership of TikTok cites concerns about national security risks. ByteDance was initially given nine months to sell-up - and that expired in January. However, the company has repeatedly insisted it will not give-up the app. It said in April: "ByteDance doesn't have any plans to sell TikTok." Reports circulated that it was considering a sale of the app without the key algorithm, but these were denied. The owners insisted: "Foreign media reports of ByteDance selling TikTok are not true."

A beloved singer has been forced to cancel shows after facing 'unimaginable' pain that 'demanded immediate attention'. Paul Simon rose to fame in the 1960s as part of the duo Simon & Garfunkel alongside school friend Art Garkfunkel. After gaining a legion of fans releasing songs like The Sound of Silence and Bridge over Troubled Water, the American singer- songwriter went on to pursue a career as a solo artist in the 1970s. Throughout his career, Paul has won 16 Grammy Awards and been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice, realising his most recent album Seven Psalms in 2023. In April he kicked off his A Quiet Celebration Tour, which began in New Orleans and will travel throughout North America and Canada before ending in Seattle in August. However, this weekend he had to pull the plug on two performances just a few hours in advance due to ongoing health issues. Posting a statement online, his team explained that the 83-year-old could no longer play his scheduled shows at the Academy of Music in Philadelphia. 'Paul has been struggling with chronic and intense back pain,' it began. 'Today it became unmanageable and demands immediate attention. Unfortunately, we have to cancel these shows at this time, as we don't have the ability to reschedule them.' 'However, we are hopeful after this minor surgical procedure which has been scheduled in the next few days, Paul will be able to complete the tour as well as look into returning to make up these dates. 'In the meantime, please go to your point of purchase or local ticket provider for a full refund.' Paul is next set to play at the Long Beach Performing Arts Center's Terrace Theater in Long Beach, California on July 7. His tour features the live debut of his Grammy-nominated album, Seven Psalms, along with a 'celebration of his timeless classics'. However when it was announced earlier this year, it was explained that he'd chosen 'intimate venues with optimal acoustics for this tour' as he had been dealing with 'severe hearing loss'. The musician had previously announced his retirement from touring in 2018 due to hearing loss. At the time he explained: 'I've often wondered what it would feel like to reach the point where I'd consider bringing my performing career to a natural end. Now I know it feels a little unsettling, a touch exhilarating and something of a relief. 'I love making music, my voice is still strong, and my band is a tight, extraordinary group of gifted musicians. I think about music constantly.' More Trending Last year he explained he's now lost 94% of hearing in his left ear and has been told by doctors that there is no cure, which has also left him unable to play certain songs from his catalogue, including his 1986 hit You Can Call Me Al.
