Amazon's got sneakers on sale — and they're actually good
If you've been meaning to upgrade your rotation or just want a deal that doesn't feel desperate, now's the time. These are the best sneakers on sale — no coupon codes, no cringe, just genuinely good shoes.
Brooks Ghost 16
The Brooks Ghost 16 made our list of best running sneakers thanks to the tremendous amount of support it offers. The shoes have a soft midsole and a segmented heel pad that aids in smoother heel-to-toe transitions, according to the brand. The upper is made from breathable mesh to prevent sweaty feet and the rubber sole is lightweight.
Another of our favorite running shoes, these have a rocker-shaped outsole to promote easier heel-toe transitions and are currently 29% off. They have a breathable mesh upper structured to provide support and cushioning in the sole to give a bouncier feel.
These sneakers from Reebok have an old-school '80s look and are intended for casual wear. They have a leather upper and a durable rubber sole that offers strong traction, according to the brand. There is a padded collar around the ankle for support and a removable foam sock liner for extra cushioning. The sneaker comes in over 20 colors, but only the classic white is currently 37% off.
These casual sneakers have a platform heel to give you extra height. The upper is made partially from recycled plastic bottles and the insoles have antimicrobial technology to prevent bacteria and odor, according to the brand. The shoes come in medium and wide widths and reach a size 11. Currently, the white smooth color is 50% off.
These shoes were on our list of best walking shoes. Ryka designed these shoes with women's feet in mind — they have a narrower heel, roomy toe box and cushioning at the midsole. The outsoles offer grippy traction and additional cushioning in the forefoot and heel for comfort.
An internal sock liner molds to your foot to provide a secure fit in these sneakers. They also have a breathable mesh upper to prevent sweaty feet and a durable rubber outsole, according to the brand. These sneakers also have extra cushioning at the midsole for comfort and responsiveness.
These unisex sneakers have a vintage look and are suitable for walking or casual wear. NBC Select associate reporter Bianca Alvarez finds the suede exterior is easy to clean, saying she only has to throw them in the washing machine, and they look barely worn.
Skechers Ultra Flex 3.0
These slip-ons can be put on hands-free by simply slipping your feet in them, according to the brand. They have a molded heel cup to cradle your foot, a cooling memory foam sole and the knit upper is breathable and conforms to your foot for sock-like comfort, according to Sketchers.

'This St Moriz self-tan remover took my tan off in minutes without the need for scrubbing'
Shopping Writer Meghan has just found an affordable game-changing self-tan remover that stripped off her fake tan 'in a matter of minutes, with no scrubbing or scraping needed' If there's one task I hate doing, it's taking my tan off when it's time to reapply. You have to spend an age scrubbing the tan off with exfoliants and gloves or brushes to remove all the dry skin and pigment to get that clean canvas ahead of your next application. This is a long and boring process, but it can always be relatively painful - I suffer from sensitive skin and eczema, so a lot of rigorous scrubbing and exfoliating can leave my skin feeling raw and inflamed. That's why I've been looking for a top-notch tan remover that reduces, if not eliminates, the need to spend hours in the bathroom with harsh body scrubs. And I think I found the perfect one with an enticingly affordable price tag. I will admit I picked this St Moriz Self Tan Removing Foam up on a whim, as it promises professional levels of tan removal for the low price of £4.99. I thought that at least if it didn't work, I hadn't spent a fortune. But this tan remover blew me away. No scrubbing or painful exfoliating required. This foaming tan is incredible on so many levels. First, it's easy to apply; it's a foam that can easily be wiped across the skin but dries down incredibly fast, which makes it even more convenient to leave on for the instructed 5 minutes before jumping into the shower to rinse off. The seamless spread of the foam and super lightweight formula make it super convenient, whether you're removing tan from just one area or your whole body. As I mentioned above, it's suggested you leave the remover on for a minimum of 5 minutes before you begin the removal process. I believe I left mine on for a few minutes longer, as this remover makes it super easy to carry on about your day while you're waiting for it to work its magic. When you're ready or the 5 minutes are up, hop into the shower or bath and begin rinsing. You'll notice almost immediately that colour starts running off in the water, and it is noticeably lifted from the skin. With just the water pressure, some areas are already tan-free (though I imagine this happens more if you leave the remover on for longer, as I did). Expecting to still need to scrub to get the majority of the tan off, I used my go-to pair of exfoliating gloves, which are available on Amazon. I simply had to wipe the gloves over the skin with very minimal pressure, and there was no need to scrub at each spot for a prolonged period of time. I swiped a hand down my arm and boom, there's my pale, tan-less skin pretty much 100% back to normal. I noticed a couple of patches that needed a tad more attention, areas of dry skin from eczema, as well as the stubborn areas you'd expect, hands, feet, elbows and knees. By no means do you need to spend ages rubbing at them; it just requires a few more passes with the gloves or a brush. Even my armpits, one of the worst areas for refusing to let tan budge when you need to take it off, were super easy to restore, with very little effort required.

Pete Wicks reveals Sam Thompson's secret 'crush' on celebrity friend's sister
Pete Wicks has spilled the beans on best pal Sam Thompson's crush, saying the former Made In Chelsea man made moves on a celebrity pal's sister Pete Wicks has outed his best pal's secret crush, saying Sam Thompson has eyes for a mate's sister. Former TOWIE star Pete, 36, spilled the beans on ex MadeIn Chelsea man Sam, 32, following his public breakup with Zara McDermott. But Pete insists Sam has moved on and claimed his attention could be focused elsewhere. Speaking on Pete and Olivia Attwood's podcast, Sunday Roast Reheated, Pete explained how he and Pete had bumped into Olivia while out for dinner. He said his pal went on to declare his love for the former Love Island star's sister. "Sam has an unhealthy fascination slash obsession with one of the Attwood's - and it isn't Liv...," Pete said. Olivia chimed in to explain the awkward interaction: "He's got a crush on my sister.... but this is how Sam shoots his shot. When Pete went to the toilet Sam came and sat in Pete's seat next to my sister, stared at her, then turned to her and said I love you. They don't know each other - they've met once!' Pete added: "Liv's sister is happily married but Sam thought - do you know what I've got a new mullet, I've had a glow up, this might work..." "He's like, I'm going to throw it at the wall and see what sticks," Olivia went on before Pete joked: "And I tell you what stuck... nothing, not a thing." Sam has been looking for love since his surprise split from Zara. While Zara appears to be moving nicely with One Direction man Louis Tomlinson, it appears as though Sam is single again. He had been involved with Love Island's Samie Elishi but is said to have cooled things last month. It left him reportedly heading onto celebrity dating apps to find his perfect match. Despite being snapped locking lips with Samie, 25, the duo are said to have called time on things, with a source telling us: "They both have busy lives, it just didn't work out." Sam is now said to be looking for love after taking to 'Tinder for the illuminati', Raya. He is said to be looking to connect with a whole host of famous faces, who have been granted access to the exclusive dating site. Sharing screenshots of Sam, reportedly taken from Raya, in which the reality star can be seen larking around with best pal, Pete in photos which display his name, age and occupation - listed as: 'Presenter/podcaster' - the Mail reported last month that his profile on the site is active. He had recently spoke to Pete about being single on their Staying Relevant. He explained he felt like he was "ready to get out there", saying: "I feel like I'm at a stage now where I feel confident enough that I can start approaching females." He added: "I feel good, things are really really nice at the moment. And I feel like I'm happy. There's no more brave faces', causing Pete to proudly declare: 'Sam's ready to date!'."
