The YouTuber-turned-boxer was only bettered in the ninth round as Chavez Jr staged a late resurgence.
However, the Mexican left himself with far too much to do, having been on the back foot for much of the fight.

He landed 140 of his 482 thrown throughout the ten rounds, while his rival only connected with 61.
Chavez Jr only threw 154 punches throughout the entire fight and bizarrely only attempted four in the first round.
He did not land a single one of these as he finished the third round with only 14 punches thrown and three landing.
The one positive for Chavez Jr was that his accuracy was far superior to that of Paul.

Conor McGregor 'f*****g livid' with decision made by his own company
Conor McGregor was left 'f*****g livid' over the weekend as he took to social media to rant about a Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) event. McGregor is part owner of BKFC and has previously expressed his desire to get in on the action. Over the weekend, BKFC 77 was held in Birmingham with Connor Tierney defending his UK welterweight title against Danny Christie in the headlining bout.
