JMPs call for massive friday demonstrations in support of Palestine, against US aggression
The Joint Meeting Parties (JMPs) have issued a call for a massive million-man demonstration to take place tomorrow, Friday, in the capital Sana'a and across all provinces of Yemen.
This mobilization is in response to the call made by the leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, and as a tribute to the sacrifices of the martyrs and wounded.
In a statement, the JMPs underscored the significance of this large-scale march, emphasizing the continued commitment to "jihad for the sake of Allah" and in support of the central cause of the nation, Palestine.
The statement asserted that the ongoing US aggression against Yemen and its support for the "criminal Zionist enemy" will ultimately face failure and defeat.
It expressed confidence that the Yemeni people, through their awareness, steadfastness, and reliance on Allah, will achieve victory.
The JMPs affirmed the unwavering stance of the Yemeni people and their leadership on the nation's key issues, with the Palestinian cause being paramount.
They stated that all attempts at intimidation, bombing, and siege will only strengthen the Yemeni people's resolve and determination to continue on a path of "pride and dignity."

Houthi-Linked Telecom Scandal Shakes Yemen: Mobile Recharge Scheme Used as Intelligence Trap
A communications scandal has rocked Yemen after revelations surfaced that Houthi-affiliated operatives allegedly used the mobile recharge system as a covert intelligence-gathering tool, raising serious concerns over digital privacy and civilian surveillance. According to local sources and telecommunications experts, the scheme involved manipulating the mobile credit recharge platforms—widely used across Yemen—to collect personal information and track user behavior. The practice reportedly targeted thousands of subscribers, including civilians, journalists, and tribal figures, under the pretense of routine service. Individuals were prompted to enter personal data or respond to deceptive SMS messages linked to credit balance verification or promotional offers. In some cases, enhanced signal triangulation and metadata extraction were used to map user locations and communication patterns. Human rights organizations and digital watchdogs have condemned the operation as a violation of privacy and a dangerous weaponization of essential telecom services. Analysts warn that such tactics undermine public trust in national communication infrastructure and may represent a broader strategy to monitor dissent and assert control over digital channels. This scandal has triggered calls for urgent regulatory oversight and international investigation, especially as Yemen's telecom sector operates with limited transparency and is increasingly subject to political interference.

5 Killed in Clashes Between Houthis & Tribal Forces in Yemen's Al-Bayda
Five people were killed and several others injured on Sunday during fierce clashes between Houthi militants and local tribal fighters in Al-Bayda Governorate, central Yemen. According to tribal and local sources, heavy fighting erupted in the Al-Hafrah neighborhood of Rada'a city after Houthi militants attempted to abduct a resident. The confrontation began when armed Houthi members tried to seize young Mohammed Al-Sabbahi in front of a restaurant on the main street, escalating quickly into violent clashes. The sources said Houthi forces deployed military reinforcements to the area, imposed a security cordon, and launched raid campaigns, while their snipers took positions atop buildings surrounding the neighborhood. The confrontation reportedly resulted in the death of two Houthi fighters and the injury of others, while three tribal members were killed—including the young man targeted for abduction, Mohammed Al-Sabbahi. Local sources indicated that tensions remain high, fueled by growing public anger over continuous violations against civilians by Houthi forces over the years. In a related development, the Yemeni Network for Rights and Freedoms—a non-governmental organization—has documented approximately 8,186 incidents of human and material harm in Al-Bayda from January 2015 to January 2025, attributed to Houthi forces. A recent report by the network detailed 842 civilian deaths, including women and children, and 931 injuries—some of which resulted in permanent disabilities. The report cited a range of methods of violence, including direct sniper fire, random shelling, landmines, home demolitions, and torture. The network also documented 2,780 cases of arbitrary detention and abduction, 366 forced disappearances, and 132 cases of psychological and physical torture. It condemned these violations as flagrant breaches of the Geneva Conventions, international humanitarian law, and human rights law—alleging they amount to war crimes. The organization called on the international community and the United Nations to intervene urgently to end these abuses, lift blockades, and guarantee safe passage for humanitarian aid.
