Previously, the last date to apply was July 31 and it was later extended.
The IAF Agniveervayu selection test will be held from September 25 onwards.
IAF Agnveervayu 2025: Eligibility criteria
Subject Eligibility Science
Passed Intermediate/ 10+2/ or its equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and English from recognised education boards.
At least 50 per cent marks in aggregate and 50 per cent marks in English. OR
Passed 3 years Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Automobile/ Computer Science/ Instrumentation Technology / Information Technology) from a recognised Polytechnic institute
50 per cent marks in aggregate and 50 per cent marks in English in the Diploma course examination.
If English is not a subject of the diploma course, they should have the required marks in Intermediate/Matriculation exam. OR
Passed a two-year Vocational course with non-vocational subjects: Physics and Mathematics from recognised education boards
50 per cent marks in aggregate and 50 per cent marks in English in the Vocational course examination (or in Intermediate/ Matriculation, if English is not a subject in the Vocational course). Other than Science
Passed Intermediate / 10+2 / Equivalent Examination in any stream/ subjects from recognised boards
50 per cent marks in aggregate and 50 per cent marks in English. OR Passed a two-year Vocational course from recognised boards with 50 per cent or more aggregate marks and 50 per cent marks in English in the Vocational course examination (or in Intermediate/ Matriculation if English is not a subject in the Vocational Course). IAF Agniveervayu recruitment 2025: Age Limit
Those who were born between July 2, 2005 and January 2, 2009 (both dates inclusive) can apply for this recruitment process. If the candidate clears all the stages of the selection process, then the upper age limit on the date of enrolment should be 21 years.
The online recruitment exam will be objective-type, and questions will be bilingual (English & Hindi) except for the English paper.
For Science subjects, the exam duration will be 60 minutes and will comprise of Physics, Mathematics and English as per 10+2 CBSE syllabus.
For other subjects, the total test duration will be 45 minutes and will comprise of English as per 10+2 CBSE syllabus and Reasoning & General Awareness (RAGA).

He volunteers as a guide at Hiroshima's Peace Memorial Park. He wants to raise awareness among foreigners because he feels their understanding of the bombings is lacking. It took him 60 years to be able to talk about his ordeal in public. When the US dropped a uranium bomb on Hiroshima, Iida was 900 meters (yards) away from the hypocenter, at a house where his mother grew up. He was 3 years old. He remembers the intensity of the blast. It was as if he was thrown out of a building. He found himself alone underneath the debris, bleeding from shards of broken glass all over his body. 'Mommy, help!' he tried to scream, but his voice didn't come out. Eventually he was rescued by his grandfather.

Bihar Staff Selection Commission, BSSC, announces 1481 graduate-level vacancies, apply from August 18
BSSC CGL 2025: Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BSSC) has advertised 1,481 vacancies for various posts, which will be filled through the Graduate Level Combined Competitive Exam (CGL 2025). The application process for this recruitment drive will begin on August 18 and end on September 17. Eligible candidates can apply on the official website of the commission, Bihar Staff Selection Commission, BSSC, announces 1481 graduate-level vacancies(Santosh Kumar/HT photo) Eligibility criteria such as educational qualification and technical qualification are different for each post. Candidates can check the notification hosted on the official website for more details. Candidates who are at least 21 years old and not more than 37 years old on the cut-off date can apply for these vacancies. However, relaxation in the upper age limit will be provided to reserve category candidates as per rules. If the commission receives more than 40,000 applications, it will conduct an examination using objective-type questions to shortlist candidates. Based on the preliminary examination, BSSC will shortlist candidates equal to five times the number of vacancies for the mains examination. The commission will publish a separate notification for the mains examination. The preliminary examination will cover the following topics: General studies General Science and Mathematics Mental ability test (Comprehension/Logic/Reasoning/Mental Ability) There will be 150 questions in the preliminary examination, each carrying four marks. Candidates need to attempt the paper within two hours and 15 minutes. For every incorrect answer, one mark will be deducted. The medium of the question paper in the preliminary examination will be Hindi and English. In the case of any dispute, the English version of the question will be treated as valid. Candidates will be allowed to bring books – one each for the three topics – to the exam centre. BSSC said that only NCERT, BSEB and ICSE boards' textbooks will be allowed. Guide books, photocopies of books, handwritten papers, notes, electronic devices, etc. will not be allowed inside the exam hall.
