Fury as cops admit ESCORTING pro-migrant protesters to Epping asylum hotel where violent clashes erupted
Essex Police had initially denied it had brought demonstrators from Stand Up to Racism to the Bell Hotel in Epping before clashes with anti-migrant protesters last Sunday (July 17).

The force changed its tune after being shown footage of the activists being led from a station to the protest while holding placards.
It is due to hold a press conference later today to explain its actions. Six people have been charged with offences related to the disorder.
It comes as the Brittannia Hotel in London's Canary Wharf is currently preparing for migrants to arrive.
Photos show new beds being unloaded and carried into the hotel.
Chaos was sparked outside the hotel in Epping last week after an asylum seeker appeared in court charged with sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl.
The unrest saw yobs launching themselves on riot vans, smashing windshields and ripping off wingmirrors in senseless displays of "hooliganism".
One thug was even run over while attempting to stop a police van gaining access to the hotel.
Another man had his teeth knocked out after riot cops smashed a shield into his face in a brutal clash.
Reform UK leader Nigel Farage said "heads will roll" over the escort, which he alleged was done to "force a confrontation".
He added: 'Initially they denied that it had ever happened in the first place.'
The politician had previously said: 'I didn't want to believe this had happened and then I saw the video.
"It's an absolute disgrace, and the police's priorities need urgently looking at.'
Assistant Chief Constable Stuart Hooper said: 'We have a reasonable duty to protect people who want to exercise their rights.
'In terms of bringing people to the hotel, the police have a duty to facilitate free assembly.
"We would only ever take people away from protest if we felt there was an immediate threat to people or property, to free up police resources, to protect others, or to prevent additional violence.
'In Epping, officers took all three of those into account before making their decisions.'

Deloitte probed over Glencore audits after commodities giant is hit by bribery and corruption lawsuits
Deloitte is being investigated by the UK accounting watchdog over its audits of Glencore's finances. The Financial Reporting Council (FRC) will probe the Big Four firm's work for the Swiss commodities giant over an eight-year period. It will look into whether Deloitte gave 'sufficient consideration to the risk of non-compliance with laws and regulations' when signing off accounts between 2013 and 2020. Glencore has been rocked by bribery and corruption lawsuits in the last few years. The FRC noted that the FTSE 100 commodities trader and miner and a UK subsidiary had been 'subject to investigations by government agencies into misconduct'. In total Glencore, which produces coal, copper, nickel, zinc and cobalt, has had to pay out over £1billion after legal action in Brazil, the UK, and US. Probe: Big Four accountancy firm Deloitte is being investigated by the Financial Reporting Council over its audits of Glencore's finances In 2022, it was fined £281million following an investigation by the UK's Serious Fraud Office. The SFO found Glencore paid nearly £21million in bribes to gain preferential access to oil in Africa. It flew cash to Africa and falsified documents. In 2022 Glencore admitted bribery and failure to prevent bribery after transactions in Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea, Ivory Coast, Nigeria and South Sudan. Six former executives have been charged with bribery. A trial is yet to begin. Regulators are probing Deloitte's work on four audits, including for bus operator Go-Ahead, fashion brand Joules, car seller Lookers and fintech Stenn. Deloitte UK said: 'We are committed to the highest standards of audit quality and will fully co-operate.' The FRC can impose fines and non-financial penalties if it finds wrongdoing. In 2019 Deloitte was fined £4.2million for its audit of outsourcing firm Serco, which had paid more than £20million to settle fraud and false accounting charges. This year PwC was hit with a £4.5million fine for 'serious failings' in its 2019 audit of Wyelands Bank. Big Four peer KPMG paid out £4.5million after 'serious failures' in its audit of Rolls-Royce's 2010 accounts. In January, the FRC probed KPMG's audit of Ladbrokes-owner Entain's 2022 accounts. The gambling giant paid a £615million settlement to resolve a probe into alleged bribery at its former Turkish online betting business.

Pro-migration protest group escorted by police is funded by trade unions
The pro-migration protest group escorted by police to a migrant hotel is partly funded by trade unions and led by Diane Abbott, the suspended Labour MP. Counter-protesters involved in the Epping demonstration were carrying placards for Stand Up to Racism, a group that explicitly opposes Nigel Farage's Reform UK and which is backed by the TUC. Essex Police came under fire after footage appeared to show officers escorting the protesters to the Bell Hotel in Epping, Essex, on July 17. Anti-migrant demonstrators went on to claim that their arrival sparked violence between the two opposing groups. The force had initially denied that it had brought the Stand Up to Racism activists to the site, yet later admitted that it had done so. Stand Up to Racism has frequently campaigned against individual political figures as well as parties – with Mr Farage and Robert Jenrick, the former Conservative immigration minister, among those it has targeted in the past. Its website currently seeks donations for a campaign to 'stop Reform UK'. The organisation's president is Ms Abbott, who was suspended by Labour last week after defending a previous claim that Jews experience racism differently than black people. Daniel Kebede, Stand Up to Racism's vice-president, is general secretary of the National Education Union, which orchestrated a total of 593 days of local teacher walkouts in 2024. Kevin Courtney, Mr Kebede's predecessor, also sits on the campaign's committee as a co-chairman. Meanwhile, Mick Whelan, a vice-chairman of Stand Up to Racism, oversaw two years of train strikes as general secretary of union Aslef. In March, the campaign group held its annual trade union conference, where speakers included Mr Kebede and Mr Whelan as well as the head of equalities and the anti-racist taskforce chairman at the TUC. Titles of workshops held over the day included: 'Return to 1930s: the changing face of fascism and our unions' [sic] role in fighting it' and 'Trade Union Network to Stop the Far Right: developing organising online and in the workplace.' On the 'Trade Union Network' part of its website, Stand Up to Racism says: 'Most major trade unions in Britain are affiliated to Stand Up to Racism. 'It's our hope to increase the number of activists in the unions prepared to join the struggle against racism, Islamophobia, antisemitism and the rise of the far right and fascism.' The website also includes tips on how to 'mobilise' staff in workplaces – with hospital workers advised to 'mass leaflet entrances' as colleagues are coming in to start their shifts. Meanwhile teachers are advised to 'hold lunchtime/after-school meeting[s]' and to 'order badges and posters for lunch rooms and displays'. In a lengthy response, a Stand Up to Racism spokesman said they were 'deeply concerned that the recent demonstrations that led to violence and rioting at The Bell Hotel in Epping were not organised by local mums and concerned residents.' The spokesman continued: 'They were organised by Neo-Nazi group Homeland, that is seeking to wind up the local community and stir up racism to build a fascist movement.' They also said the organisation 'receives funding from members, affiliates, including trade unions'.

Epping is far from only place where public anger is spilling over at £5.7m spent daily on migrant hotels
What a cop out FROM festooning themselves in rainbow emblems at Pride events, to endless virtue-signalling diversity initiatives, our police leaders are never happier than when indulging in woke causes. So with cops having allowed the pro-Palestinian mob to terrify Jews on the streets of London for two years, it was inevitable that Essex Police would give a helping hand to far-left activists who descended on a migrant hotel protest in Epping. 1 At first the force denied any suggestions of assistance. But once footage emerged, it had to admit officers had escorted masked and hooded demonstrators towards the demo already unfolding. In fact, the cops couldn't have been more helpful if they'd been an easyJet crew offering speedy boarding to passengers at nearby Stansted Airport. Clashes with racist far-right thugs already gathered outside The Bell hotel duly erupted. Forgotten amid the mayhem were the ordinary mums, dads and grandparents waving placards spelling out genuine concerns after a migrant was arrested over sex offences against a teenage girl, within days of arriving on a small boat. They remain angry that the Government has failed to protect our borders and is now bussing in young foreign men from deeply unfamiliar cultures. And they are furious at police for failing to keep their town safe from appalling thuggery. To their visible dismay, Epping is fast becoming a byword for all that is broken about Britain. But it is far from the only place where public anger is spilling over at the insanity of £5.7million being wasted every day on migrant hotels. Protests are unfolding outside the Britannia International in London's Canary Wharf, where asylum-seekers will soon be housed at a cost of at least £81 per night, per head. Farage fury as cops admit ESCORTING pro-migrant protesters to Essex asylum hotel The hotel's website boasts of restaurants, bars, en-suite bedrooms and 'spectacular' views over the Thames. All available courtesy of law-abiding taxpayers. What an utterly shameful fiasco. Medicine balls WITH breath-taking arrogance and shocking disregard for the sick, striking doctors insist any deaths that result from their five-day walkout will have nothing whatsoever to do with them. It'll be down to the Government for not giving them a 29 per cent pay rise. For good measure, slippery BMA union leaders claim it will be a 'dereliction of duty' for any non-striking doctor to step in and cover them. Not only are they ripping up their duty to the unwell. The Marxist medics want to intimidate their fellow health professionals. Their naked greed is plain for all to see.
