Adorable moment tennis star Anna Kalinskaya's pet dog storms the court
On Saturday night, the 26-year-old secured a 6-4 6-3 semifinal win over British star Emma Raducanu - and she was soon joined by Bella.
The dog followed her owner around the court - tail wagging - before being hoisted into the air as the crowd cheered the new darling of the DC Open.
Only a day earlier, Bella - who even has her own credentials for the tournament - had again found her way on to the court after Kalinskaya beat No 4 seed Clara Tauson.
As the Russian packed her bags following the straight-sets win, cameras caught the small dog sprinting across the court.
The puppy, wearing a pink harness and dragging along a pink leash, ran straight for Kalinskaya - much to the amusement of the crowd in DC.
The world No 39 was briefly unaware that she had a visitor, with the dog standing behind its oblivious owner while she gathered her possessions.
VIP: Earlier on Friday, Bella watched the quarterfinal from her own seat in the Russian's box
Eventually, however, Kalinskaya scooped up her pet and used its paw to 'wave' to the crowd at the DC Open, which serves as one of the warm-up events for the US Open.
The Russian player then carried Bella over to her team before continuing to celebrate the quarterfinal win.
Earlier, pictures from DC showed Bella watching her owner from the stands. She was given her own chair and a towel to sit on.
On a few weeks ago, Kalinskaya lost to Denmark's Tauson in the second round of Wimbledon but she exacted revenge with a 6-3 7-5 win.

Luka Doncic credits his new physique to nutrition and training
Lakers star Luka Doncic has unveiled a significantly more muscular physique, which he attributes to an intense training and diet regimen during the off-season. His transformation was showcased in a Men's Health cover story, where he discussed his commitment to a gluten-free, low-sugar diet and two daily workouts. Fans have reacted enthusiastically to Doncic's new look, widely dubbing it a 'revenge body' following his trade from the Dallas Mavericks to the Los Angeles Lakers in February. The trade, which saw Anthony Davis move to the Mavericks, reportedly stemmed from concerns within the Mavericks organization about Doncic's weight and conditioning. Despite fan backlash, Mavericks general manager Nico Harrison defended his decision to trade Doncic, stating he had 'no regrets' and that the move was in the team's best interest.

Sparks F Cameron Brink to return from ACL tear vs. Aces
July 29 - Los Angeles Sparks forward Cameron Brink will make her season debut Tuesday against the visiting Las Vegas Aces after missing the team's first 25 games due to a torn left ACL that has required 13 months of rehabilitation. Brink and Sparks coach Lynne Roberts confirmed Brink's availability after practice on Monday. Roberts told reporters that Brink will likely be on a minutes restriction. Brink was cleared to return earlier this month and has been ramping up in practice. "It's great to get in and get reps," Brink told the Long Beach Press Telegram. "My teammates are super supportive, coaching me up. My coaches are super patient. I'm feeling great, just getting the reps that I need to feel comfortable." Brink was the No. 2 overall pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft behind Caitlin Clark. Brink averaged 7.5 points, 5.3 rebounds and 2.3 blocks over her first 15 games (all starts), but went down early in a June 2024 game against the Connecticut Sun with the ACL injury. She missed not only a year-plus of her nascent professional career, but also the 2024 Paris Olympics. She was set to play on Team USA's 3x3 women's basketball team that earned the bronze medal. Roberts is in her first season as the Sparks' coach, as she took over after the team went 8-32 last year to finish last in the league standings. To date, Los Angeles is 11-14 but riding a league-best five-game winning streak into Tuesday's game with Las Vegas. "She's been tremendous," Roberts said of Brink. "It's hard. The offseason is one thing, but when your teammates are out there and you're over there doing leg curls, it's hard. And she's been a tremendous teammate. I'm really, really proud of her." --Field Level Media

‘God is so good': Deion Sanders opens up about his battle with bladder cancer
Colorado Buffaloes coach Deion Sanders revealed he was diagnosed with an aggressive form of bladder cancer. Sanders underwent surgery to remove his bladder and create a new one, with doctors confirming he is now cured of the disease. He disclosed that he lost 25 pounds during his illness and joked about now needing to use absorbent underwear. The cancer was discovered during a routine CT scan for blood clots, prompting Sanders to encourage others to get regular medical check-ups. Sanders kept his diagnosis secret from his sons, telling them it was a foot issue, to allow them to focus on the NFL draft.
