Ohio State football coach Ryan Day rated among the best in 'College Football 26'
If so, then there's no doubt you've noticed some of the ratings now visible and available in the game, including where Ohio State ranks, who the top players are in the game, what Buckeye players are rated, and much more. One thing many fans may not know, however, is that the head coaches in the game are also ranked and rated, and that includes OSU head coach Ryan Day. But what does EA Sports think of Day?
Coming fresh off a College Football national championship, you would expect Day to be highly rated in the game, and that's definitely the case. In fact, Day is rated as the third best coach in the game behind only Kirby Smart of Georgia and Clemson's Dabo Swinney. All three have a "prestige" of an A+, but Smart and Swinney both have an overall rating of 80, while Day has a rating of 72.
Rounding out the top ten behind those three are Steve Sarkisian of Texas (68), Oregon's Dan Lanning (66), Penn State head coach James Franklin (64), Notre Dame's Marcus Freeman (63), Kalen DeBoer of Alabama (62), LSU's Brian Kelly (62), and Lane Kiffin of Ole Miss (61).
Of note, Michigan man Sherrone Moore is nowhere to be found. I think there are a lot of folks around the country who would want Day over Swinney because it sure feels like the way things are going in college football has made him a bit of a dinosaur, but the Clemson head coach does have two national championships, so I guess that's the tiebreaker.
Either way, Day continues to gain prestige and respect in coaching circles, the media, and yes, the virtual video game realm.

These Alabama players are rated the highest in EA Sports College Football 26 game
As the EA Sports College Football 26 game officially releases, it appears that one of the more popular teams to play with might just end up being the Alabama Crimson Tide. Announced by the game recently, Alabama is actually the highest-rated college football team in the game, owning an overall rating of 89. The Crimson Tide also have the game's seventh-best offense at an 89 rating, as well as the best defense with an overall rating of 96. Advertisement As expected with a team rating that high as well, Alabama likely has to have some highly-rated individual players also, and well, that is exactly what the Crimson Tide do in fact have in the game. Alabama has a total of seven players among the Top 100 highest-rated overall players in the game, regardless of position, four of which come on offense. Those players, as well as ratings, are Ryan Williams (95), Kadyn Proctor (94), Jaeden Roberts (92), Tim Keenan III (92), Bray Hubbard (91), Deontae Lawson (91), and Parker Brailsford (91). Taking a deeper look as well, both of Williams and Proctor are among the Top 10 highest-rated offensive players in the game, regardless of position, with the former sitting at No. 2 overall behind only Ohio State wideout Jeremiah Smith.
