Tetsuya Naito & BUSHI To Depart New Japan Pro-Wrestling
Tetsuya Naito and BUSHI will leave New Japan Pro-Wrestling.
NJPW shared that they couldn't agree on a new contract with Naito. He will still appear at shows until May 4, when the Wrestling Dontaku tour ends in Fukuoka. The company said they had many talks with Naito about his future. In the end, both sides agreed not to renew his deal.

NJPW shared 'Thank you for supporting New Japan Pro-Wrestling. In recent weeks, conversations have been ongoing between New Japan Pro-Wrestling and Tetsuya Naito regarding Naito's future wrestling activities. As a result of those conversations, both parties have mutually agreed not to renew Naito's contract with NJPW.'
'Both parties have arrived at this decision after careful consideration and lengthy conversation. Naito's contract ends on the best possible terms with NJPW, which joins fans in wishing Naito's further success in any and all future endeavours.'
'New Japan Pro-Wrestling deeply apologises to NJPW and Naito fans for any concern this announcement may cause. Naito will make all of his scheduled appearances through the Dontaku series concluding May 4 in Fukuoka, and looks forward to your ongoing support.'
The company also confirmed that BUSHI is leaving. He will finish his scheduled matches by May 4 as well. NJPW said BUSHI asked to leave, and they agreed after discussing it with him.

NJPW shared 'Thank you for supporting New Japan Pro-Wrestling. At his own request and after careful consultation, NJPW has come to terms with the departure of BUSHI following currently scheduled appearances ending on May 4 in Fukuoka.'
Both Tetsuya Naito and BUSHI have been major star in the company. Naito has wrestled for NJPW since 2006, and BUSHI has been with the company since 2012. It will be interesting to see what's next for both stars will they make their way to AEW or WWE? Only time will tell.

WWE Summerslam 2025: UK start time, live stream, confirmed match card and results
The biggest party of the summer will be spread across two nights as WWE Summerslam takes place this weekend in New Jersey. It is the 38th annual edition of WWE Summerslam, marking the eighth WWE Premium Live Event (PLE) to be streamed on Netflix after the Royal Rumble, Elimination Chamber, WrestleMania 41, Backlash, Money in the Bank, Night of Champions and Evolution. Debuting all the way back August 1988, this event has been transformed over the past three-and-a-half decades. One of the promotion's five biggest events of the calendar year, Summerslam is widely considered second to only WrestleMania. Just like the 'showcase of the immortals' this year, for the first-time ever, Summerslam will be a two-night event. Furthermore, rapper Cardi B will serve as the event's hostess. An extra night means more matches and some of the biggest names in the company are on the card, including John Cena as he defends the Undisputed WWE championship in a street fight against Cody Rhodes. A feud that began all the way back at WWE Elimination Chamber 2025 when Cena shocked the WWE universe, it's a rematch from WrestleMania 41 when Rhodes lost the title in rather controversial circumstances. Though after winning the King of the Ring tournament, the 'American Nightmare' gets his long-awaited shot at revenge. Jade Cargill - the 2025 Queen of the Ring - aims to dethrone WWE Women's champion Tiffany Stratton, while Gunther puts the World Heavyweight championship on the line against CM Punk. Naomi's first defence of the Women's world championship is a triple threat match against Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY. Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu will be locked in a steel cage for the WWE United States title. AJ Styles finally gets his match with WWE Intercontinental champion Dominik Mysterio and the pressure is on Lyra Valkyria because if she loses to Becky Lynch in a no disqualification, no count-out match, she can no longer challenge for the WWE Women's Intercontinental title as long as Lynch is champion.
