Design Your Future Campaign launches 'Hyundai EV Youth Challenge' with Innovation Partner Hyundai Bahrain
The 'Design Your Future Campaign' (DYF) is proud to announce its Innovation Partnership with Hyundai to launch the 'Hyundai EV Youth Challenge', a dynamic initiative that blends sustainability, clean mobility, and youth empowerment. This strategic collaboration combines Hyundai's global leadership in electric vehicles (EV) innovation with DYF's mission to equip young Bahrainis with practical skills and future-ready values. The Hyundai EV Youth Challenge is an interactive, sustainability-focused competition designed for youth aged 16 to 24. This initiative aims to raise awareness about the environmental benefits of EVs while fostering a deeper understanding of how EV technology can contribute to a more sustainable future. In addition, it offers young participants real-world experience in marketing, communication, and teamwork. The competition will follow a structured multi-phase process. Each youth team will be selected through an open application. Each team will be provided with a Hyundai EV for a two-day drive and research experience, after which they will develop an environmentally centered marketing pitch to be presented at a public event. Throughout the challenge, participants will engage in a series of interactive workshops led by experts in electric vehicles, marketing, and effective communication. These workshops are designed to enhance their practical skills and knowledge. The winning team will be selected based on both jury evaluation and audience votes. Winners will receive certificates, Hyundai merchandise, and potential opportunities to be featured in future Hyundai marketing campaigns. Mr. Nawaf Alzayani, Managing Director of First Motors – Hyundai Bahrain, commented: 'Hyundai is proud to support 'Design Your Future Campaign' and engage Bahrain's youth through this meaningful initiative. As we work toward a carbon-neutral future, it is vital to educate and inspire the next generation to adopt new innovative mindsets and sustainable solutions. This challenge reflects our commitment to both technological innovation and social responsibility, aligning perfectly with our global sustainability vision across education and climate.' Zahraa Taher, Chairperson of the DYF Advisory Committee, added: 'Our partnership with Hyundai marks a significant step forward in empowering youth through innovation and hands-on experience. This challenge not only provides a platform for young minds to creatively shine but also highlights the vital role of sustainability. Through this platform, we are helping young Bahrainis understand the role of innovation in reducing carbon emissions and combating climate change. The challenge is not only about cars, it is about nurturing a generation ready to embrace sustainable solutions and lead the change.' The second edition of the 'Design Your Future campaign' also features a range of other exciting programs and events, including the DYF Business Quiz Show, the DYF Podcast, a host of high-level workshops, and the Skills Hunt event, all aimed at fostering teamwork, skill-development, and professional growth.
