Indiana Fever vs. Dallas Wings: TV channel, time, how to watch Friday's game
The Fever are riding a three-game winning streak heading into Friday's matchup against the Wings at the American Airlines Center, home of the NBA's Dallas Mavericks, following wins against the Las Vegas Aces, Chicago Sky and Phoenix Mercury.
Although 2024 No. 1 overall pick Caitlin Clark is set to miss her sixth consecutive game with a right groin injury, Friday's game will still feature two recent No. 1 draft picks — Aliyah Boston, who was drafted first overall by the Fever in 2023, and rookie Paige Bueckers, who was selected first overall by the Wings in April.
Forward Maddy Siegrist will be available for the Wings on Friday after missing 17 games with a knee fracture, the team announced on July 31. Siegrist last played in the Wings' 93-80 loss to the Phoenix Mercury on June 11th and is averaging 9.4 points and a career-high 5.2 rebounds in 11 games (three starts).
The Fever lead the regular-season series vs. the Wings, 2-0. Indiana won the first matchup of the season 94-86 without Clark, who was sidelined at the time with a left groin injury. Fans got the highly-anticipated matchup between Clark and Bueckers on July 13 in Indianapolis, which the Fever won 102-83. Clark had 14 points, 13 assists and five steals in that victory, while Bueckers had 21 points and two steals in the loss.

CLARK INJURY UPDATE: Caitlin Clark has been ruled out of Sunday's game in Seattle due to her groin will be Clark's 7th straight game missed. @AngelaMoryanTV has the details. No, Clark has officially been ruled out per Angela Moryan of WISH News 8. Sunday's absence makes it seven straight games missed for Clark, dating back to the final game before the WNBA's All-Star break. The 6-foot guard has now missed 16 regular season games and 17 games overall, including the WNBA Commissioner's Cup final. Clark has been dealing with injury woes dating back to the preseason. The Iowa alum missed the Fever's first preseason game with a left leg injury. Then, a left quadriceps strain cost Clark five games from May 28-June 10. That was followed by a left groin injury that sidelined Clark for four regular season games and the WNBA Commissioner's Cup final from June 26-July 5. In the first episode of her new "Show Me Something" podcast, Fever guard Sophie Cunningham commented on her teammate's injury struggles. "It is her groin, but it's such like a weird injury,' Cunningham said on her podcast when asked about Clark's return. 'She's not in pain all the time. But when you do hurt it you're out for I think they're trying to be like extra cautious so she doesn't kind of have those little setbacks." In 13 games played, Clark is averaging 16.5 points, 8.8 assists, 5 rebounds and 1.6 steals per game on 36.7% field goal shooting and 27.9% 3-point accuracy. WNBA says individual that threw sex toy on court at Dream game has been arrested
An individual that threw a sex toy onto the court during the Golden State Valkyries' 77-75 victory over the Atlanta Dream on Tuesday at Gateway Center in College Park, Georgia, has been arrested, the WNBA confirmed to USA TODAY on Saturday. The incident happened in the final minute of Tuesday's contest as the Dream and Valkyries were tied at 75. The lime green object was thrown from the stands onto the court and landed near the top of the free throw line shortly after Atlanta's Maya Caldwell blocked a 3-point attempt from Golden State's Tiffany Hayes. Officials did not stop play as the object bounced toward the sidelines. A police officer later picked the item up using a towel. Days later, another sex toy was thrown onto the court during the Golden State's 73-66 victory over the Chicago Sky at Wintrust Arena in Chicago on Friday. The incident happened with 7:42 remaining in the third quarter as the Sky led 39-37. Officials immediately halted play after a green object landed out of bounds under the basket. "The subject involved in the incident in Atlanta on Tuesday has been arrested," the WNBA said in a statement to USA TODAY on Saturday. A number of WNBA players have spoken out against the string of incidents. Sky center Elizabeth Williams said it's "super disrespectful," while Indiana Fever guard Sophie Cunningham said flying objects could "hurt one of us." "I don't really get the point of it. It's really immature. Whoever is doing it needs to grow up," Williams said following Friday's game. New York Liberty forward Isabelle Harrison added, "ARENA SECURITY?! Hello??! Please do better. It's not funny. never was funny. Throwing ANYTHING on the court is so dangerous." The WNBA said any spectator caught throwing anything on the court will be "immediately ejected and face a minimum one-year ban," in addition to facing charges. "The safety and well-being of everyone in our arenas is a top priority for our league," the WNBA said. "Objects of any kind thrown onto the court or in the seating area can pose a safety risk for players, game officials, and fans. In line with WNBA Arena Security Standards, any fan who intentionally throws an object onto the court will be immediately ejected and face a minimum one-year ban in addition to being subject to arrest and prosecution by local authorities."
