The Nex Playground will wear out your energetic kids, and it's $60 off during Prime Day
It's a great way to exhaust your little ones when going outside isn't an option, and it's $60 off for Prime Day. Normally $249.99, you can grab one at Amazon for $189.99 after you clip the on-page coupon. It's $199.99 at Best Buy and Walmart. If you like the five games that come with the Playground, you can choose to buy a Play Pass (in three-month or 12-month subscriptions) to get access to the full suite of titles.
What if the dream of Microsoft's Kinect lived on? It does in the Nex Playground, an all-in-one, motion-controlled console filled with kid-friendly games. Exhaust and entertain your little ones. You're welcome.
I've had a chance to try several of the games on the Play Pass, and it's even fun for adults. Fruit Ninja is there, as well as a Beat Saber-like dance game, plus other titles where you have to bonk and slice obstacles and enemies (some of them are licensed, featuring Sesame Street, Peppa Pig, Barbie, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and more). There's no graphic violence, cussing, or profanity. What's more, it has a kidSAFE Plus COPPA seal, ensuring that parents have complete control over their children's data and information. This device can also be used offline.
The Nex Playground runs its own easy-to-navigate operating system, and you can dial through menus and the game selection screen using its included remote. The Playground is powered by the included USB-C brick, which has a magnetic privacy cover for the lens. You connect it to your TV using an included HDMI cable.
If the price seems high, think of the Nex Playground sort of like the crank-equipped Playdate. You're paying for the hardware, yes, but you're also paying to get access to a library of bespoke (and surprisingly polished) games made exclusively for the platform. You don't see this kind of thing too often.

If You Love Music, This Waterproof Speaker at a Record Low Price Is a No-Brainer for This Summer
Amazon is still selling its Prime Day bargains for a couple more hours, and one of the terrific bargains still available is on the Anker Soundcore 2 portable Bluetooth speaker. The popular speaker has dropped to an all-time low price of just $29, down from its usual price of $44. And the good news is that it can be gotten by anyone, not just Prime members. But Amazon does not provide an assurance of when the offer runs out, so you had better hurry and get it done before the price changes. See at Amazon Anker Soundcore 2 has an advanced stereo sound and BassUp technology and the speaker delivers rich and clear audio with impressive bass,. Whether you're listening to upbeat tracks at a party or relaxing with mellow tunes by the water, the sound quality remains consistently strong. Bluetooth 5 gives you a stable and quick connection to your tablet or phone and you can stream audio without interruptions even while you're moving around the yard or camp ground. The IPX7 water resistance is one of the best things about the Soundcore 2: This enables the speaker to withstand splashes, rain or even falls into the pool, and enables you to take it outside with you and not have to worry about water damage. It is a reliable companion during summer outings from beach trips to camping weekends. The compact and lightweight design also means that you can simply stuff it in a bag or backpack. With a 24-hour playtime from one charge, you enjoy entire days and nights of music without needing to recharge. You can enjoy running music from dawn to late night, making it ideal for all-day parties. The Soundcore 2 also features wireless stereo pairing which means that you can pair two speakers for even greater sound. This is great if you want to fill a larger room with music or for an even more engrossing listen experience. The speaker can work with either iOS or Android devices and pairing is simple and quick so you can just get on with the music instead of fiddling around with settings. Don't wait—this all-time low price point could disappear in a snap. See at Amazon

Amazon Didn't Sell Enough During Prime Day, So Now It's Offering Google Nest Thermostats at Zero Profit
Prime Day may be finished but Amazon is giving even more this weekend with some of its strongest deals yet. If you missed out earlier in the week and want to save lots of money, now's your time. If you want to save on energy costs and add a bit of comfort and smarts to your living space, the Google Nest thermostat is among the wisest decisions you can make. Better still, it's now selling at an all-time low—just $85, versus the typical $129. See at Amazon The Google Nest thermostat is designed to keep you comfortable while saving you energy. As an ENERGY STAR certified device, it's built to waste less and make your home more efficient. One of its best points, perhaps, is that you can schedule an energy-efficient mode directly from the Google Home app for both Android and iPhone. The thermostat turns off automatically when you're away so you're never warming or cooling an unoccupied house. The small adjustments year after year can add up to significant cost savings which makes the Nest Thermostat a worthwhile investment. It's simple to install in most homes as the Nest thermostat integrates with most systems without the requirement of a C wire. For more specific heating and cooling units (like heat only, cool only, or heat pumps), you may require a C wire or an equivalent power accessory but most people will find it simple and quick. Then, you can command the thermostat from anywhere. The Google Nest thermostat also features a Savings Finder which looks for even more ways to save. It can provide you with suggestions on changing your schedule as well as help you take advantage of deals and rebates from your energy provider. The unit also comes with HVAC monitoring and keeps an eye on your heating and cooling systems and notifying you if something seems out of place. The Nest thermostat is compatible with Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa, and all Matter-certified voice assistants so you can easily change the temperature with a simple voice command. If you already have a smart home setup or are just beginning to build one out, this thermostat will be a seamless addition. With the Nest Renew feature, you can also make a contribution towards clean energy efforts by automatically scheduling your energy use when power is cleaner or less expensive. If you wish to make your home wiser and more efficient, the Google Nest thermostat is something you wouldn't want to pass up. See at Amazon
