The pair's panicked and suspicious behavior made the video go extra viral, and eventually, Andy was identified along with his colleague, Astronomer HR Chief Kristin Cabot.
According to their LinkedIn profiles, which now appear to be deleted but were previously viewed by BuzzFeed, Andy has worked for Astronomer for two years, while Kristin has been there for 9 months. He's reportedly married with two kids, while she got divorced in 2022.
Yesterday, Astronomer announced it had officially launched an investigation into the matter in a statement shared with BuzzFeed.

But now, it looks like his leave is permanent, as Astronomer just announced that Andy has turned in his resignation.
The company revealed the news in a statement shared with BuzzFeed and on X. The statement continued, "Andy Byron has tendered his resignation, and the Board of Directors has accepted. The Board will begin a search for our next Chief Executive as Cofounder and Chief Product Officer Pete DeJoy continues to serve as interim CEO."
The company then expressed its desire to move on from the situation. John Oliver breaks silence on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert cancellation
John Oliver has called the cancellation of The Late Show With Stephen Colbert "terrible news for the world of comedy". Last Thursday (17.07.25), CBS pulled the plug on the 61-year-old presenter's nightly talk programme, with the final episode set to air in May, and now Oliver - who fronts Last Week Tonight With John Oliver - said it is 'incredibly sad' Colbert's show has been canned. Oliver continued: 'So to have got to be on Letterman's show and Stephen's show has been always one of the most fun things, so it's very, very, very sad news. 'I look forward to seeing what he's going to do next because that man will not stop.' Oliver isn't the only late-night host to react to The Late Show's cancellation, as Jimmy Fallon - who fronts The Tonight Show - admitted he was 'just as shocked as everyone' to hear Colbert's programme had been axed. The step grandson of reality TV star Dog the Bounty Hunter has reportedly been shot dead by his father in a 'freak accident' at their apartment in Naples, Florida, over the weekend. Gregory Zecca, the son of Dog's wife Francie Frane, fatally shot his 13-year-old son Anthony in an 'isolated incident' that is currently being investigated by local law enforcement, who were called to the scene shortly after it took place at 8pm on Saturday night, according to TMZ. The Collier County Sheriff's Office has confirmed that a person was shot dead, that no arrests have been made and that its deputies are investigating but declined to identify either the victim or the shooter.
