The actress took to her Instagram handle and shared a series of adorable pictures of Ranbir from his younger days. She penned down a sweet note for her son and expressed her love for him. Addressing Ranbir as her 'sunshine", Raveena welcomed him to adulthood. 'Welcome to Adulthood my son, Happy 18th. I love you, your my heart ♥️, My sunshine, my forever love. Proud of the Man you've become. Kind, compassionate, strong, caring. Mahadev walks with you. Thank you for choosing me for being your mum, you wise old soul ♥️😘," she wrote. Raveena Tandon fell in love with distributor Anil Thadani in 2003. The couple announced their engagement in November of the same year and tied the knot in 2004 in Jag Mandir Palace, Udaipur, Rajasthan, according to Punjabi Khatri and Sindhi traditions. They then became proud parents to their daughter Rasha in 2005. Raveena attained motherhood again in July 2008 with son Ranbir. Rasha made her acting debut earlier this year with the movie Azaad. The film also marked the acting debut of Ajay Devgn's nephew, Aaman Devgan. Directed by Abhishek Kapoor, known for acclaimed films like Kai Po Che and Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui, the movie received mixed reviews from all. 'I think mom did a very good job in keeping us away from the limelight for a long time and not exposing us too much to it. Nowadays, I see kids who grow up under so much attention and scrutiny. Mom shielded me and my brother very well that way," Rasha told News18 Showsha previously. Meanwhile, Raveena has successfully transitioned into digital entertainment and television in recent years. Her performance in the Netflix series Aranyak (2021) was highly praised, marking her return to mainstream acting with a powerful role. Superman Box Office Collection Day 1: James Gunn's superhero film earns Rs 7 crore in India, beats Brad Pitt's F1 and Rajkummar Rao's Maalik

Superman Box Office Collection Day 1: Heavy is the head that wears the crown, and for director James Gunn, that crown might be feeling a lot lighter now that his new Superman film has opened to positive reviews and strong box office results. The film earned Rs 7 crore in nett in India on its opening day, which puts it in a great position for the upcoming weekend. Superman should make around Rs 20 crore over the weekend, easily beating Rajkummar Rao's new release, Maalik. Interestingly, Brad Pitt's high-octane and drama-filled F1 had earned Rs 5.5 crore nett on its opening day in India. While Superman might have managed to beat F1, it fell short of Jurassic World Rebirth's opening day haul of Rs 9.2 crore. The film made more than Rs 50 crore in its first week of release in India. Starring David Corenswet, Superman, also fell drastically short of Tom Cruise's Mission Impossible – The Final Reckoning, which made Rs 16.5 crore on its opening day in India. The morning and afternoon shows had rates of 15.62% and 18.58%, while the evening and night shows had rates of 26.97% and 38.66%. While its opening day performance in India is commendable, Superman is having much more success on the worldwide angle. According to Deadline, the movie had the biggest box-office preview collection of this year at $21 million. Initially, some reports claimed that Warner Bros will only consider Superman a success if the movie makes over $700 million. Since then, Gunn has refuted the existence of any such parameters being set by the studio. Thanks to positive reviews and fan support, the film could re-launch DC's superhero slate. Gunn and his co-studio head Peter Safran have the additional responsibility of launching the DC Universe with Superman.

Squid Game's Lee Jung-jae Expresses Interest In Indian Films: Would Love To Do Bollywood Movie

Seoul: Emmy-winning actor Lee Jung-jae, best known for his role as protagonist Seong Gi-hun in the hit Korean series 'Squid Game', would love to explore Indian cinema. In a virtual interview with ANI, Lee Jung-jae expressed his desire to work in Bollywood. He said, "I would love to be a part of a Bollywood film if I was given the opportunity." During the interaction, Lee Jung-jae also recalled reprising his character for the third season of the Netflix show. "It was a day of mixed feelings when I put on that green tracksuit with my number 456 on it and I stepped onto the set again for the first time. I also felt the same way when I put back on the red haired wig. I've worked in this industry for quite a long time but I have never felt a rush of emotions like the way I experienced on the day when I came back to the sets of Squid Game," Lee Jung-Jae shared. 'Squid Game' premiered on Netflix in 2021. The first season was nominated for 17 Emmys, with the show winning six, including one for best actor in a drama for Lee and another for best guest actress in a drama for Lee You-mi. The veteran Korean actor became a global icon with his intriguing performance in Netflix's dystopian survival thriller. Asked what made this show a huge success, Lee Jung-jae emphasised,"I did not expect this kind of success. I think it's about timing. When Squid Game season one was released, not only were we mid-pandemic, but also I think it was the beginning of a lot of global economic struggle, unfortunately. And so many people were struggling in real life, which has been reflected in the characters in Squid Game. So I think the overall timing of the release of the show and the things that were happening around the world and how much of that was reflected in the characters was partly what led to its huge success. " Interestingly, 'Squid Game' broke a new record for Netflix when it debuted its third and final season recently. Over the first three days, the smash-hit Korean drama drew 60.1 million views, setting a new high for the streamer, as per Variety. With that impressive opening stat, the third season is now Netflix's ninth most-watched non-English TV show ever on the streamer's regularly updated list of most popular series overall
