JD-U working president Sanjay Kumar Jha said they would not be attending the meeting as all top party leaders are engaged with Modi's programme, inviting immediate criticism from the Congress.
Congress Media and Publicity Department Chairman Pawan Khera posted on 'X', "Prime Minister's priority is elections. JD(U)'s priority is the Prime Minister. All-party meeting on terror attack can wait."

He noted that a new wave of curiosity about space is sweeping across India's children and highlighted the significant growth in the space sector, with over 200 startups now established. Modi emphasised that the path to a 'Viksit Bharat' (Developed India) is paved with self-reliance, and 'vocal for local' serves as the strongest foundation for an 'Aatmanirbhar Bharat' (Self-Reliant India)."Recently, there was extensive discussion in the country about Shubhanshu Shukla's return from space." "As soon as Shubhanshu safely landed on Earth, people rejoiced, and a wave of happiness swept through every heart. The entire country was filled with pride," he stated. The Prime Minister reiterated that a new wave of curiosity about space is emerging among children across India. He also pointed out the rapid emergence of space startups in the country, noting that "There were fewer than 50 startups five years ago. Today, there are more than 200 startups in the space sector alone". Modi also mentioned that National Space Day would be observed on August 23 and invited suggestions on how the day should be celebrated. He highlighted that India's young minds are excelling, from Chemistry to Mathematics Olympiads.

During Operation Sindoor, the world witnessed that if anyone threatens India's sovereignty, the country will respond in their own language. This operation has instilled a new sense of confidence and ignited a spirit of unity across the nation. There is no haven for India's enemies and terrorists anywhere in the world," the PM said. Offering prayers at the feet of Lord Brihadeeswara, Modi said, 'I prayed for the well-being of 140 crore Indians and the continued progress of the nation. I feel truly blessed to have this opportunity.' He announced that grand statues of Chola emperors Rajaraja Chola and Rajendra Chola will be erected in Tamil Nadu to commemorate their contributions to Indian history and culture. He said the Chola Empire represented a golden era of India, with achievements in architecture, governance, diplomacy, trade, and cultural integration. 'The Cholas established strong political and trade ties with Sri Lanka, the Maldives, and Southeast Asia. It is a coincidence that I returned from the Maldives yesterday, and today I stand here in the land once ruled by these visionary kings,' he remarked.
